Hope 04: God with us with Lusanda Mashua
In this episode, Nande is joined by Lusanda Mashua to reflect on hope. When sages speak of hope, they don’t speak of a practise of escapism but rather confronting life as it is while collaborating with God to make the human experience better. The writer of Hebrews says we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. Sit with Nande and Lusanda as they reflect on what it means to carry hope today. Decision 03: I am not ashamed
Inspired by Paul, the apostle’s words “I am not ashamed of the Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes”, Nande Boss presents a journal prompt and tool for our decision-making. Will you ask God what your mission is and pursue it unashamed? God may very well be drawing us to live courageously, lovingly and freely as we continue to choose to see ourselves and others as fully known, seen and loved by God.

Decision 02: How am I loving my neighbour today?
The love we have received from God doesn’t restrict us to practise our faith alone. Love draws us to others. Love builds and restores. Decision 01: Little, ordinary choices with Nelisa Cata
When the Scriptures treat or handle wisdom and decision, they don’t call it a determination of self will; psyching ourselves up into good decision-making No The Scriptures describe wisdom as a journey… a long, winding path to be walked by putting one foot in front of the other; a journey, made better and easier by the daily ordinary acts of obedience, of duty, of discipline and repetition. The Scriptures have this as a premise; that the more you decide (little, ordinary decisions) the better you become at decision-making. That’s the tool, I want to put forward today: not just decision, but decision in the daily, ordinary acts. These acts amount to very little independently, but cumulatively they are life-changing. We know this even in the development of our characters, that characters aren’t really built or fixed by the big, dramatic events - but in the little, ordinary choices.
