Laurence maintains that his greatest credentials are the smiles of his wife and the laughter of his children.

Ep 25. Tim Pasma: The Idolatry of Psychedelics
Pastor Tim Pasma has ministered at LaRue Baptist Church, LaRue, Ohio, since 1985. He has been married to Rebecca since 1977, and God has blessed them with three sons and three daughters, along with seventeen quite active grandchildren. Pastor Tim earned the B.A. from Cedarville University (1977) and the M.Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (1981). He serves as a Fellow in the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and serves on the ACBC Board of Trustees. He has contributed chapters to books on counseling, such as Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling, and authored Counsel for the Dying: Conversations at the Exit of Life for ACBC’s Truth in Love resources. He lectures frequently on counseling issues at counseling conferences and for several Christian organizations.

Gabriel Rench was born in the Promised Land Texas. Six states later, he ended up in Moscow, Idaho, where he graduated from the University of Idaho. He has also attended Greyfriars Hall, the pastoral training program at Christ Church. Gabriel is a media and PR consultant (www.PengoMedia.com), Co-Founder of the Fight Laugh Feast Network, and one of the host of CrossPolitic TV Show and Podcast (Airs on Direct Tv, Xfinity, streaming, and podcast), and cofounder of www.DropWave.io, a free speech podcast hosting platform.Gabriel was arrested in September of 2020 for exercising his first amendment rights, singing Psalms outside of city hall in protest of the unconstitutional masks mandates. His arrest went viral, and has since landed him on the Laura Ingraham Show, Glenn Beck Show, The Todd Starnes Show, and more, and his arrest was even retweeted by President Trump. CrossPolitic did a followup show covering this peaceful protest and his arrest. He also serves as a Deacon at his church (King’s Cross), and serves on various non-profit boards. His favorite food groups are BBQ, ice cream, and topping-the-charts Scotch (Balvenie 21 year, if you are asking). He lives on a small 10-acre farm with his wife, three children, a couple horses, one dog, and two outdoor cats.

Dr. Daniel R. Berger II is the lead pastor at Faith Fellowship Church in Clarence, NY (https://faithfellowshipclarence.org), the founder and director of Alethia International Ministries (AIM), and serves as the director of Faith Biblical Counseling Center. When He is not with his family and church family, Daniel continues to write and to speak around the world in churches, organizations, medical communities, and at various counseling and teacher's conferences. He is also an experienced pastor, counselor, school administrator, and the author of fourteen books, which focus on biblical counseling, biblical phenomenology, practical theology, education, parenting, and the history and philosophy behind the current mental health construct. Daniel earned his B.S. in counseling, an M.S. in counseling/psychology, an M.A. in pastoral studies, and a doctorate in pastoral theology.
