Today, Kelly is joined by fellow Biblical Counselor Dr. Ernie Baker.With a long history of teaching as a professor of biblical counseling at The Master's University (TMU), Dr. Baker is the chair of the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling program and serves with Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide. He is the consulting editor of the new series, Critical Issues in Biblical Counseling, and author of one of the books in the series, Biblical Counseling and the Psychologies. Marry Wisely, Marry Well, as well as several mini-books with Shepherd Press. Dr. Baker is married to Rose, and they have six children and fourteen grandchildren.

Dr. Joe Rigney returns for another discussion about Empathy!Joe Rigney serves as Fellow of Theology at New Saint Andrews College and as Associate Pastor at Christ Church. He is a husband, a father of three, and the author of a number of books, including Things of Earth and Leadership and Emotional Sabotage.

Rev. Laurence Windham moved to Bristol, Virginia and became the pastor of the St. Peter Presbyterian Church in 2000. Prior to that, he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida while working at Ligonier Ministries and serving as a college minister for Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Central Florida. Laurence maintains that his greatest credentials are the smiles of his wife and the laughter of his children.

Pastor Rich Lusk has been a minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church since 2004. Before that he served at Redeemer Presbyterian (PCA) in Austin, TX and Auburn Avenue Presbyterian (CREC) in Monroe, LA. He and his wife, Jenny, have four kids.Rich is a graduate of Auburn University (B.S. in Microbiology) and the University of Texas at Austin (M.A. in Philosophy).In addition to many articles, papers and essays, Rich' has published several books, including his most recent, Measures of the Mission: A Survey of the Bible, Church, and Family. 

Today, Kelly is joined by Nick Sevier, the founder and director of Biblical Counselors Society.Nick received his BA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Bethlehem College and Seminary, pursued an Advanced MDiv at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is completing his Masters of Biblical Counseling at Birmingham Theological Seminary. He is an ACBC and IABC Certified Biblical Counselor with 14 years of counseling experience and 2 decades of business administration and leadership experience. He currently lives in South Carolina with his wife Grace, and his daughter, Ashley.

Today we deep dive into the doctrine of the civil magistrate, otherwise known as Interposition. Kelly is joined by Neil Smith, an elder at her church, who is passionate about the role of government and how it relates to the Christian life.

Pastor Tim Pasma has ministered at LaRue Baptist Church, LaRue, Ohio, since 1985. He has been married to Rebecca since 1977, and God has blessed them with three sons and three daughters, along with seventeen quite active grandchildren. Pastor Tim earned the B.A. from Cedarville University (1977) and the M.Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (1981). He serves as a Fellow in the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and serves on the ACBC Board of Trustees. He has contributed chapters to books on counseling, such as Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling, and authored Counsel for the Dying: Conversations at the Exit of Life for ACBC’s Truth in Love resources. He lectures frequently on counseling issues at counseling conferences and for several Christian organizations.

Dr. Daniel R. Berger II is the lead pastor at Faith Fellowship Church in Clarence, NY (https://faithfellowshipclarence.org), the founder and director of Alethia International Ministries (AIM), and serves as the director of Faith Biblical Counseling Center. When He is not with his family and church family, Daniel continues to write and to speak around the world in churches, organizations, medical communities, and at various counseling and teacher's conferences. He is also an experienced pastor, counselor, school administrator, and the author of fourteen books, which focus on biblical counseling, biblical phenomenology, practical theology, education, parenting, and the history and philosophy behind the current mental health construct. Daniel earned his B.S. in counseling, an M.S. in counseling/psychology, an M.A. in pastoral studies, and a doctorate in pastoral theology.
