Today, we turn to Acts 10 and the life of Cornelius for vision, strategy, and tools by which we can more faithfully be the Church here and now.

Today's episode explores discipleship (Matthew 28) and multiplication (2 Timothy 2:1-7). These passages are critical in focusing our vision as the Church here and now as well as leading directly to some strategy and tools by which we can go about faithfully being the Church.

Today we take an initial look at devotion to the apostle's teaching as an essential aspect of Church life. We do this primarily through reflection on Jeremiah 18 and how it describes our shape-taking process as people living before God as well as the instrumental role God's word takes in how we take shape.

This episode is an introduction to the Holy Spirit-filled life brought into focus through three varied lists of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Today we look at two more essential elements of Church life - repentance and baptism. From a high-level perspective, we see that repentance and baptism are important in (1) entrance/initiation into Church life, (2) not used as means of differentiation and separation between responsive and non-responsive gospel hearers, and (3) ONGOING essentials of Church life.

This episode continues with a few more thoughts on the Church as family, some foundational principles for growing in understanding and discernment regarding the Bible, and pulls it altogether with some thoughts toward short-term and long-term strategy regarding disciple-making and being the Church.
