Estero Ekklesia
by David Doty
Estero Ekklesia is a church alternative based in Estero, FL. We exist to equip believers in their pursuit of a biblical faith expression. We uphold that ekklesia - the Greek word most often translated 'church' in the New Testament - does not mean church at all. As a matter of fact, Jesus wasn't starting a religion, a denomination, or a movement that revolved around weekly meetings when He said He would build His ekklesia in Matthew 16:18. He was establishing the government of the Kingdom of Heaven. Understanding this changes everything about Christianity. Believers aren't called to join a club or attend a service - we are called to represent Heaven on Earth as His royal priesthood. The institutional church system has turned believers into spectators, and Estero Ekklesia's mission is to reawaken the hunger you have to change the world for God's glory. Ekklesia in the Bible
What did Jesus mean when He said, “I will build My church”? In this teaching, we go back to Matthew 16 and Acts 19 to uncover the original meaning of ekklesia - not a religious institution, but a governing assembly with authority. Understanding this word reshapes how we view the Kingdom of God, unity, and our role as believers today. Join the conversation and dig deeper into Scripture with us.👉 Join Estero Ekklesia Online: https://www.skool.com/estero-ekklesia-1658👉 Visit: https://EsteroEkklesia.com👉 Join Estero Ekklesia Online: https://www.skool.com/estero-ekklesia-1658👉 Estero Ekklesia Website: https://EsteroEkklesia.com
