God called all of creation God. But in today's episode, we find out that there is one thing God says is not good: for man to be alone. So what does God do? He creates an equal, a partner for the man. God gives the man community with someone who is like him. God is showing us that we are all meant to be in community with others. We are not meant to be alone.

God wants a relationship with us. God wants us to trust him when he tells us something is not good for us. God tells the man he can eat from every tree in the garden except for one. In today's episode, we find out why. And we sit and answer the question, is God setting the man up to fail?

We have been watching God create everything from our aerial view, and now we move to a ground view, watching as God is intimate with creation. naming creation and creating man with his own hands, and breathing into the man and giving him life. God names the rivers, and the Garden of Eden is created.

During Genesis 1:1-2:4, we were hovering over creation with the spirit of God. Now, starting in this episode, we are going to step onto the ground. We are going to watch creation in a more intimate way. We will walk with the man as God created and we will listen to the conversation that God has with the man.

The earth and everything in it is complete. There is nothing more that needs to be created. So what is next? Next comes God's provision of rest. God models for us that it is okay to take a moment and slow down. not because he needs to, but because we do.

God speaks, creation obeys, but on the sixth day, God still speaks, but in a different way. not with a command but a conversation. God is creating us, humanity and we are different, we were created in his image, to be like him. we were created to have a partnership with him.Thank you for joining me on this episode......
