It is through the lens of prayer, encouragement, and pleasure that Reverend Dr. Jacqui King enjoys the spiritual gift of faith that she has been given. This is the question that she always asks whenever she makes a connection with someone: "How can I pray for you?" She prays with people regardless of where they are at the time, using attentive listening and a connection to the Holy Spirit as her primary means of communication.At the moment, King is serving with the Illinois Great Rivers Conference (IGRC) as the Director of Ministerial Excellence. As persons respond to their callings from God, she seeks to foster the development of good relationships between the clergy and the laity so that they can make disciples of Jesus Christ in community. The gift of these online gatherings such as "Living into My Yes," encourages individuals to go through the call journey with clarity, community, and covenant.
