Faith Over Dishonor Podcast

Hello,"Father, forgive them, For they know not what they do." Luke 23:34 My favorite scripture. And it's true. We don't know what we're doing. We have been stuck in the world's grasp rather than Jesus's words. I got tired of being lost. So now, I study. As I study, I want to bring people closer to God. Closer to the one who created us and the one who sacrificed for us.That is where this podcast comes in. As I study, I want people to study with me. I want to help people realize what truly matters.Tag along with me as we study the word, reveal testimonies, and come closer to God as he wants us to be.If you have any questions or comments, you can reach me at [email protected]'s study the word together.

    006: Is Homosexuality a Sin?

Hello and welcome back my Backyard Prophets to another episode of Faith Over Dishonor. It is amazing how you are here and are willing to listen to me speak about Jesus, God, The Bible, and now we are beginning to discuss harsh truths in the world today that are answered within The Bible. Today's episode is a very controversial one considering the lives lived within this world. Though it may be answers some don't want to hear, they are still fact based answers. This question has been asked many times and there is a lot of material out there that is trying to misconstrued, misinterpret, or twist the answer to this question. As a follower of Jesus and an advocate for The Bible, I feel it is my responsibility to address this question as it is answered within The Bible on multiple occasions. Old Testament and New Testament.I urge every listener to stay until the end so you know the true message behind this episode. Don't take in one piece of information, explore the entire episode. Thank you again for tuning into Faith Over Dishonor. I love you. Jesus loves you. God loves you.

    005: The Book of Jonah

Hello and welcome back to Faith Over Dishonor. There have been a couple changes I have made to the podcast. New picture, new music, and new tone to the episodes. I wanted to live it up a bit so I wouldn't sound so down when I talk. Welcome to a new Faith Over Dishonor.I want to apologize for the last episode. I made a mistake with saying Elisabeth was Mary's sister and actually she was Mary's cousin. I don't know why I said sister even though I clearly read cousin. I'm learning as I go so I apologize. The Book of Jonah is full of information that will show you how we can fall, how gracious and compassionate God is, and lessons learned when it comes to our personal views towards certain people and how we should act towards them. This is an extremely informative story, and I recommend you read through it to better understand.I'm doing a giveaway for my listeners. The deadline to enter is April 1st. Giving everyone a chance to enter as well as make new designs to choose from in my store at www.bonfire.com/store/faithoverdishonor Thank you all for the support and I love each and every one of you. Stay strong in your path and study the word. God Bless

    001 Power of Prayer

Faith Over Dishonor, Hello everyone,My name is Bradley. Just to start off, I want to say I am learning. There are many things that pertain to the gospel that I have yet to understand. Many words I’m trying to pronounce, and I am also using different styles of bibles to help me translate what I’m reading. KJV, NIV, Pastor Study Guide, KJV Study Guide. As I take this journey to learn, I hope you all help me and take the journey with me.Welcome to Faith Over Dishonor. A spiritual and religious podcast to help me as well as any listener learn the words of God. There are many scriptures within the Bible that teach us how to live, look at life, how things have changed, what sacrifices were made for us to live. It is full of war, joy, sadness, vengeance, hope. It is the world’s oldest history book as well as a study guide to live within this world so we can inherit a mansion in Heaven that Jesus is preparing for all who believe in him. Before we dive into our first discussion, I want to give a little story behind the title. I have been dishonorable in my faith. I have turned my back on God so many times that I never thought he would come to grip my heart once again. But he did. Jesus never left me though I left him. I have always been a believer, but I was never a follower. Those are two completely different things. We can get into that discussion later on as the episodes come. But as for the title, no matter how many times I was dishonorable, disobedient, and totally blind to the fact what God was doing for me, I was never alone.I started going back to church because I felt like I was lacking something. I felt empty. Though my life was mine, my life wasn’t mine. So, I began going back to church, but I wasn’t fully committed. I enjoyed the sermons, but I didn’t pay attention to the sermons. I began reading the bible, but I wasn’t paying attention. Something was still blocking me from truly transforming to the Christian I wanted to become as well the Christian I could be.Prayer is a powerful tool when it comes to coming close to Jesus. Pray on everything. Pray on your career, pray on your relationship, pray on your daily habits. Jesus will provide answers. Now, there will be sometimes where the prayer isn’t answered. It could be because you aren’t meant to move yet. Always have to remember when you devote your life to God and Jesus, you will be guided down paths beyond your understanding. Patience, thanksgiving and faith are key to prayer. I have also come to realize that prayer in the morning before you start your day will bring something to your day that just makes everything more bearable. You feel the spirit with you.Starting your day with prayer and scripture will help bring you closer to Jesus which this world needs more of.www.bonfire.com/store/faithoverdishonor If you have a verse of scripture you would like displayed on a shirt, just tell me the verse and I will create a design. You can send me a message at [email protected] bless you all. Love you all. May Jesus lead you down a path that broadens your vision to the world you belong.
