Cathy Williams - Healing through embodiment
Embodiment is an interesting and sometimes complex process as the biggest barrier to it is often trauma. Fortunately, there are many coaches and therapists of various modalities that can help us get back to our bodies. I am always excited to meet fellow practitioners in my field and so I am introducing an amazing human, author and embodiment practitioner, Cathy Williams.Cathy Williams is a trail-blazer in the world of body based healing and creative arts therapy.Disconnected from her body and fractured from her mind, Cathy had lost herself at the hands of a psychologically abusive relationship and system that failed her. Through somatic and expressive modalities, Cathy regained her discernment, returning to the wisdom of her body, re-learning how to trust in and follow her intuitive knowing. From this place of strength she has built a life for her and her daughter and now shares these transformative healing powers through her Intuitive Self workshops, training and one-on-one sessions. Known for her compassionate empowering approach, Cathy supports women to rekindle their relationship with their bodies and remember their innate power. In her award-winning debut book: Body Wisdom ~ A guide to connecting with your Intuitive Self, Cathy shares inspired invitations to strengthen your confidence in your Intuition and nurture compassion and love for Self. Golboo Cubitt - Brewing Balance with tea
This week we are talking to a tea vender about the various benefits of the variety of teas to our health and how it helps us to reduce our caffein intake and hydrate better.Golboo Cubitt is the founder of Biome Brews, a wellness-led tea brand on a mission to reconnect people with the ancient, intentional rituals of tea drinking. Born in Iran and raised in the UK after her family fled the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s, Golboo grew up in a culture where tea was more than a drink, it was community, healing, and hospitality poured into a cup.Now 44, Golboo is a full-time working mum of two juggling two careers, but her path to launching Biome Brews started with a personal wake up call in her late 30s. After years of high-caffeine living coffee in the morning, wine and G&Ts at night. A health scare forced her to re-evaluate. Dehydrated cells, memory fog, and the creeping signs of burnout made her return to her roots. She began rediscovering the wisdom of her mother’s tea rituals from mint for digestion to fruit infusions for balance and the centuries-old healing properties of loose-leaf blends across Persian, Chinese, and Indian cultures.Biome Brews was born from that transformation. A curated range of organic, handpicked teas sourced directly from pesticide-free farming. Teas that are light, authentic, and free from chemicals or floral gimmicks, every blend is selected for its health benefits and designed to support hydration, gut health, and natural energy. Through Biome Brews, Golboo champions tea as a modern ritual , a daily pause to reset, reconnect, and nourish the body and mind.If you are curious to explore more about Golboo’s gut-friendly teas that actually taste amazing, check out their website www.biomebrews.co.uk, they’ve created a special code WOMENS101 for 12% off your first order. Our health gets affected by many aspects of our environment. The most impactful of them all is stress. All that can have a very negative impact on women’s mental and physical health and it is therefore crucial to our wellbeing to look after our financial health too. If you are not sure where to start getting your finances sorted, Grace Hardy might just be the one to help you to get out of the woods. Grace Hardy is the founder of Hardy Accounting.
