Wooosh Gallery talk to DJCAD Students at Cooper Gallery (26/03/24)

Myself and fellow Wooosh Gallerist Jamie Donald were asked by Cooper Gallery, to speak to the Student Curatorial Team about our art gallery in a car park, Wooosh Gallery.A real institutional mashup! Thanks to Peter Amoore of Cooper Gallery for hosting us and leading the conversation about our collaborative curatorial approach. Thanks as well to the students for asking lots of great questions and listening to our mad opinions of art and organising!!! and best of luck to all of them with all their future projects. :)This was recorded in an art gallery so the sound is kind of echoey and there is the sound of a video installation playing in the background but I got sounding as good as possible.Enjoy!ps.I'm going to continue updating these episodes over the summer, and hope to catch up completely. I've stopped recording everyday for now as I needed a break after my year at university.I think when I return I will change to a weekly format.Hope my listeners are well X-Finlay Hosted on Acast. Azerbaijan, Capacity, Stopping (07/03/24)

I talk street sweeping systems, forget to wear my glasses(!), and take the decision to stop recording daily.... (I change my mind two days later).I remember that this day I was feeling really low on confidence in my practice and this was the result - thinking I should stop doing this thing and do something MORE worthwhile... instead of thinking about how I coul dmake what I'm doing more worthwhile in itself. Hindsight is 20/20 and over the following weekend I spoke to my close friends and they brought me back to earth. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

I made this during the 2020 Covid lockdown and to my current self sounds slightly outsidery, I think down to the fact that I was still learning how to use music production software in 2020. SSSpring written, performed and produced by Finlay J Hall from the unreleased EP "Restlessness". Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
