Living Embodied and Emerging Entrusted - The Exposure and The Awakening - Session 5
In this fifth and final session of The Exposure & The Awakening, we bring the whole journey to a close through Romans 8 and the Song of Songs, unpacking what it means for mature sons and daughters of God to emerge in this hour, not through hype, performance, platforms, or public approval, but through purification, intimacy, and surrender. We explore the “travail” of becoming, the wilderness process God uses to strip away false authority, divided hearts, hidden idols, and spiritual pride, until what’s left is a people who carry the Father’s image and His authority, embodied, lived, and proven over time. This episode also widens the lens to what’s happening right now in the Church and the world, drawing from Ezekiel and the role of true watchmen, the grief of God over abominations in His house, and the difference between Spirit-led discernment and self-appointed accusation. We talk about judgment as mercy, cleansing as preparation, and why God is preserving a remnant in hiddenness, not hiding, but being readied for unveiling in His timing. Above all, this is a call to stay on the altar daily, to live behind a veil of humility, and to become pillars who can uphold the weight of His glory without crumbling or stealing it, as the Lord prepares families, homes, and the Bride for reformation, alignment, and what comes next.

From Pretence to Purity - The Exposure and The Awakening - Session 4
In Session 4 of The Exposure and The Awakening we’re talking about moving from pretence to purity. So many people want to bypass the maturing process, but true sonship is formed through discipline, hardship, sanctification, and the loving exposure of God that reveals where we’ve been living like children and hiding behind fig leaves, image management, and self-protection. Awakening is not becoming someone new, it’s the veil lifting so we can finally see who we really are in Christ and step through the door that was always open. This is a prophetic call for families to come out of hiding, break agreement with prison lies, and let God rebuild our homes as dwelling places of His presence, where real authority flows from lived surrender, repentance, and an undivided heart.

Counterfeit Family Culture - The Exposure and The Awakening - Session 3
This session exposes the difference between a counterfeit Christian family culture built on fear, control, performance and self-preservation, and a true Kingdom family culture built on surrender, obedience, presence, and covenant, showing how false identity produces false culture while sonship produces freedom, legacy and spiritual health. It challenges families to examine whether they are building dynasties that protect their own name, comfort and bloodline, or Kingdom legacies that glorify God beyond themselves, releasing children to follow God rather than trapping them in loyalty, guilt or emotional control. Through biblical framing and practical examples, it reveals how religion creates micromanaged, fear-based homes that produce rebellion, while covenant creates homes of repentance, spiritual authority, discernment and relational safety where children are formed to walk with God and serve His purposes. Ultimately, the episode calls families to allow God to expose counterfeit structures so He can replace them with a Spirit-led, presence-centered culture that carries lasting Kingdom legacy beyond any single generation.

The Idolatry of Appearance & Comfort - The Exposure and The Awakening - Session 2
In this powerful episode of The Exposure and the Awakening, we dive deep into smashing the idols of misplaced identity that trap families today—appearance and performance for women, passivity and comfort for men—rooted in the orphan spirit and religious facades. Building on last week's discussion of performance masks, we expose how insecurity breeds the orphan spirit, while true sonship and daughtership in Christ serve as the antidote. Drawing from Romans 8 and 1 John 2, we explore the progression of spiritual maturity from little children (knowing sins are forgiven) to young men (overcoming the evil one) to fathers (intimate knowledge of God from the beginning), emphasizing that maturity isn't about age or years saved but being fully fathered by God and living in faith-rest rather than striving or fear. We unpack how women often lose themselves in motherhood (either feeling erased or overly defined by success) or fall into self-earning slavery, while men chase identity through work, provision, and busyness, leading to passivity at home and perpetuating imbalance. True biblical roles - nurturing mothers and leading, foresight-providing fathers - flow from secure identity as God's children, not performance. We discuss releasing children generationally (Psalm 127 arrows), avoiding empty-nest crises, breaking agreement with false comfort or worldly self-made pride, and surrendering to a Spirit-led life where God builds the house, not our vain labor. This is a prophetic call to families on the front lines to reject the spirit of this age, awaken to authentic sonship/daughtership, and build Kingdom families on the unshakable foundation of Jesus. Join the conversation in the Family Altar community at KingdomCome.Community for deeper equipping, deliverance, and family alignment.

The Great Exposure - The Exposure and The Awakening - Session 1
In Episode 1 of the Exposure and the Awakening series, hosts Gavin and his wife deliver a prophetic call to Christian families, exposing a pervasive spirit of religious performance, false facades, and orphan mentality that has infiltrated churches, marriages, and homes—built on image, comparison, highlight reels, and striving rather than authentic identity, purity, and presence with God. Drawing from biblical patterns like King Hezekiah’s radical cleansing of idols, they emphasize that God is currently shaking counterfeit structures not to condemn people but to restore true Kingdom families through mercy, exposing internal strongholds of insecurity, woundedness, unforgiveness, and comparison so families can tear down these mental filters first, take every thought captive, boast in weakness (2 Cor 12:9), rest in God’s building work (Psalm 127), and live from sonship rather than religion. The message urges listeners to let go of the exhausting hamster wheel of performance, embrace raw vulnerability, surrender to the Holy Spirit’s awakening, and allow God to rebuild homes from the inside out—inviting families to join the Family Altar community for deeper study, workbooks, and live prayer as the series continues to uproot these issues in mothers and fathers specifically.
