The way to change a culture in any gathering, but especially in a church is to meet frequently and to build the body through encouragement. It is a biblical teaching and mandate that as believers we are called to meet in person, to worship together in a corporate setting. The early christian church was grounded and founded on this principal, that in order to maintain a healthy relationship, meeting regularly was the key. Let us examine and see how we can change the culture of the church body as we look at the teachings from the book of Hebrews.

Welcome to F61’s sermon of the week, today’s message is about how to live a life un-offended by situations or by people. Jesus commands us to live a life of holiness which means we must forgive when we are wronged as one of our attributes as believers. In today’s message we will see how un-forgiveness from being offended and wronged can lead to anger, bitterness and even revenge if unchecked, which can also lead to unhealthy lifestyle in our thinking.

It’s easy to trust in the Lord when all is going well and there is not a worry in the world. But what happens when things don’t always go our way and if feels like the world is closing in and all my efforts seem meaningless. Let’s look at how David pulled himself out of a tough situation when his own men were going to turn on him and found comfort in the Lord as he strengthened himself in God’s faithfulness.
