Hope Starts Now - The servant everybody needed.

This is the sixth message of eleven in this sermon series. There’s a question every one of us asks at least once in our life, sometimes in the quiet moments, and sometimes when we’re surrounded by disaster.  Is there any hope left?  A few thousand years ago, a man named Isaiah was asking the same question. What God showed him was so specific that 700 years later, a carpenter from Galilee would walk out of a tomb and prove every word of it true.  Isaiah didn’t just predict a rescue. He described it. These are words written in the shadows of hopelessness, yet they promised the bright hope of restoration.  The resurrection isn’t just good news for Sunday morning. It’s the answer Isaiah saw coming from a long way off.  Because hope isn’t on its way. Hope starts now.  See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.  Not sure what to expect? Visit gogenerationschurch.com/new for more info.

Belonging: Calling - this is the place where you belong.

This is the sixth message of six in this sermon series. There’s something inside all of us that longs for home – not just a place, but a people. A place where we’re known. Somewhere we belong. That’s one of the reasons Jesus created the church. But finding your home in a church family doesn’t happen by accident. There’s actually a pathway that guides people from curious visitor to committed family member. From the outside looking in to fully at home. There’s an ancient and proven biblical roadmap for how we faithfully steward the harvest God wants to bring. After all, it has always been God’s plan to grow His church. God doesn’t just want people to attend church. He wants them to find their home in His family. He’s inviting each of us to be part of that incredible journey, so we need to be ready. No matter if you’re brand new or you’ve been part of this family for years, this matters to you. All of us have a role to play in helping people take the journey home.Welcome to Belonging. See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.Not sure what to expect? Leverage Your Life: Seek first God's Kingdom

This is the second message of six in this sermon series. What if the Christian life isn’t about working harder for God, but about getting out of the way so God can work through you? Most of us approach our faith like a to-do list. We serve on teams, attend events, give our resources, and check the boxes. We’re doing things for Jesus. And we’re exhausted. But what if we’ve been thinking about mission all wrong? The mission of God isn’t another program to join or another commitment to squeeze into your calendar. Mission is simply Jesus living His life through you – at your job, in your neighborhood, with your family, through your everyday rhythms. It’s not something you do for Him. It’s who He is in you.Over the next six weeks in “Leverage Your Life,” we’re going to discover what it looks like when a church stops just doing religious activities and starts living on mission together. We’ll learn how to seek first the kingdom in a world competing for our attention, deepen our devotion when distractions are everywhere, stick together when culture pulls us apart, think multiplication instead of just addition, and engage our city with the hope of Jesus. This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about leveraging your whole life – your work, your home, your community, your story – for the kingdom. Because when Jesus lives His life through us, everything changes.See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.Not sure what to expect? The Unexpected Savior: Unexpected family.

This is the second sermon in The Unexpected Savior teaching series. We love a good underdog story – the team from the small school on the wrong side of the tracks wins the state championship, the shy girl is crowned prom queen, the mild-mannered guy saves the town.  But when it comes to God’s rescue plan for the world, people didn’t want an underdog. They wanted a warrior. God’s people had been waiting for centuries for the promised Messiah. What they expected was a military leader who would overthrow Rome, restore Israel’s former glory, and rule from David’s throne in Jerusalem.  But the Son of God showed up as a baby, born to an unmarried teenager in a cave used for farm animals.  Everything about Jesus defied expectations. His family’s past had some scandal. His first worshipers were blue-collar shepherds and pagan astronomers. The kingdom He announced had no army, no borders, and no throne. Every time He spoke, Jesus challenged what people thought they knew about God.  In the Christmas story, we discover that God’s greatest rescue mission didn’t look anything like people’s expectations, and how that’s the most hopeful truth of Christmas. Because if God can work through unexpected beginnings, messy families, unlikely worshipers, and an upside-down kingdom, then He can work through our unexpected, messy, unlikely lives too. See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809. Not sure what to expect? Exiles + Nomads: The story we're writing.

This is the sixth and final sermon in the Exiles + Nomads teaching series. If you’ve ever felt caught between where you are and where you’re supposed to be—welcome. You’re not alone, and you’re not lost.Maybe you feel like a stranger in your own life. Like you don’t quite fit in your neighborhood, your stage of life, or even your own skin. You’re somewhere between hope and giving up, and you’re not sure which direction you’re heading. Here’s what might surprise you: two thousand years ago, a fisherman-turned-apostle named Peter wrote a letter to people who felt exactly like you do right now.The book of 1 Peter opens with this: “To those chosen, living as exiles dispersed abroad...” (1 Peter 1:1)Exiles. Scattered. Displaced.Sound familiar? That’s why we’re spending the next few weeks in Peter’s first letter – because what he wrote then is exactly what you need to hear today. We’re going verse by verse through 1 Peter to discover something that will change how you see your life: what if the displacement you feel isn’t a problem to fix, but a purpose to fulfill?Join us as we uncover what it means to live with unshakeable hope when everything around you feels uncertain. You’ll discover that being an exile doesn’t mean you’re lost.It means you’re sent.See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.

More than a Hey - From guest to family.

This is the 6th message in the More than a Hey teaching series. It’s time for a raw and real conversation that will transform how we see every person who walks through our doors. We’ll see what it actually looks like when we stop just saying “everyone’s welcome” and start meaning it. We’ll dig into what the Bible says about creating a church where nobody stands alone. This isn’t about fake smiles or forced small talk. It’s about becoming the kind of people who reflect God’s welcoming invitation to a world that’s starving for real connection.None of us is naturally good at this, not even the extroverts. We’ve all been the outsider and know how awful it is. But what if the person sitting alone is one conversation away from finding hope? What if your simple “hey” is exactly what someone needs to take their next step toward Jesus? Don’t miss More Than a Hey as we learn practical ways to pray for guests before they arrive, create genuine connections that last beyond Sunday, and become a church family where everyone belongs. You were made for this! See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we're located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.

    Majoring in the Minors: Malachi

This is the 12th and final message in the Majoring in the Minors teaching series. We often gravitate toward the familiar stories in Scripture – David and Goliath, Noah’s ark, Daniel in the lions’ den. But tucked away toward the back pages of the Old Testament are twelve remarkable books known as the Minor Prophets. As we’ll discover, “minor” refers only to their length, not their significance. God still allows these prophets – from Hosea to Malachi – to speak with extraordinary relevance. During this teaching series we’ll explore how these ancient voices address timeless ideas: authentic worship, faithful relationships, justice, and the unwavering love of God. These prophets spoke bold truth to power, called for genuine repentance, and painted pictures of hope in tough times. Their messages cut through the noise of their culture, and ours, to remind us of what truly matters most to God.See you this Sunday at 10:30am.Not sure what to expect? Ruin to Restoration - We're all in this together.

This is the fourth and final message in the Ruin to Restoration series.Once upon a time, God revealed a big idea to an ordinary guy. Nehemiah’s choice to trust, follow, honor, and surrender to God resulted in the fulfillment of a seemingly impossible promise - the rebuilding of Jerusalem, which would ultimately become the backdrop for the life and ministry of Jesus. That’s when the world changed forever. Through Nehemiah’s story, we'll explore how one person’s vision turned into a community-wide movement, and discover practical wisdom about handling opposition, staying focused on what matters, and trusting God through tough times. God is still revealing big ideas to ordinary people, just like you. Together, we’ll open up God’s Word to learn what He has done and what He will do in our world. If you give us the next six weeks and open up your heart and mind to God’s possibilities for the potential of your life, He will reveal His plan to bless and build through you. You won’t want to miss this inspiring and practical look at an ancient story that feels like it could have happened yesterday. See you this Sunday at 10:30am. Not sure what to expect?
