    Walking Through the Valley

✨ What if that “coincidence” was really God? ✨This week’s episode dives deep into a real struggle with depression—not as a faith failure, but as the very place God met us with people, provision, and peace that made no sense on paper. 💛We talk about crying in the church bathroom, battling lies, and learning that community beats isolation every time. From Elijah’s rest under the broom tree to the quiet idols of busyness and self-sufficiency, this convo reminds us: it’s not about striving—it’s about surrender.Because it wasn’t coincidence—it was God. 🙌

Rest Here: Learning to Be The Daughter of the Most High God

Have you ever felt the painful disconnect between knowing who you are in Christ and actually living it out? That's exactly where I found myself this week—in a mental and spiritual struggle that brought me face-to-face with burnout, loneliness, and the challenge of truly being a daughter of the Most High God.Growing up, I was conditioned to be a doer, to make things happen, to show results. I love how my earthly father provides for me—opening doors, making breakfast—but somehow I've struggled to translate this to my relationship with my heavenly Father. Why is it so hard to learn how to be God's daughter? The question haunted me until my therapist pointed out something profound: "God was allowing you to play His role, and when we play His role, we end up burning out." I was carrying burdens never meant for my human shoulders.Through worship in my darkest moment, the Holy Spirit revealed that as a child, I'd made an "agreement with loneliness" that became my comfort zone. Isolation felt safer than vulnerability. While I'd rush to help others, I couldn't bring myself to receive help, fearing I'd be a burden. But God is teaching me to break this agreement and embrace the spirit of adoption instead. I'm learning to declare, "I belong to you, God," and to recognize that this belonging extends to a community of believers who want to support me. My journey now is about taking back what the enemy stole—my joy, my freedom, my identity as God's beloved daughter—and learning to serve from God's abundance rather than from lack.Ready to break free from agreements that have held you back? Join me in this vulnerable journey of discovering what it truly means to be a daughter of the Most High. Subscribe to God is Real Love podcast where we help you understand your identity in Christ and share our real, messy, beautiful journeys of faith together.

The Power of the Blood Jesus.

The story of the adulterous woman in John 8 powerfully demonstrates that Jesus came not to condemn but to save. This profound interaction reveals Jesus's divine character when he challenges the accusers that only those without sin should cast stones, showing both his perfect sinlessness and his incredible mercy.• John 3:16-17 explains why Jesus didn't condemn the woman – because God sent him to save, not to judge• We often limit the power of Christ's blood by believing certain sins are too great for forgiveness• All sins carry the same weight in God's eyes because all sin separates us from God• The Pharisees compared their sins to the woman's, wrongly believing some sins are worse than others• Denying yourself forgiveness is essentially denying what Jesus accomplished on the cross• When we focus more on our sins than on our Savior, we miss experiencing true freedom• The blood of Jesus cleanses, heals, redeems, restores, and refines us completely• Stop focusing on the sin and focus on the Savior who can save you from those sinsReady to experience true freedom? Let go of shame, repent, and surrender to Christ. Don't miss out on God's promises because you're fixated on past sins. Take God with you and He will take you far.

    I AM/Forgiven. The affirmation series

Breaking free from cycles of sin requires more than just saying sorry—it demands true repentance. That's the powerful message at the heart of this deeply personal episode about forgiveness, identity, and spiritual transformation. When I found myself trapped in a recurring pattern of sin, I realized I'd been asking God for forgiveness without truly repenting. The difference? Repentance involves not just acknowledging wrongdoing but making a conscious decision to turn away from sin and toward God. This crucial distinction changed everything in my journey with Christ. The Holy Spirit serves as our divine convictor, gently guiding us toward repentance. When we recognize this conviction as a gift rather than punishment, we open ourselves to profound transformation. Before understanding my identity in Christ, I would beat myself down after sinning, calling myself "unworthy" and "dirty." But God never labeled me this way. As Ephesians 1:7-8 reminds us, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding."True freedom comes when we stop dwelling in shame and embrace God's lavish grace. Repentance isn't a one-time event but a lifestyle—the more we grow close to God, the more sensitive we become to areas needing change. If you're struggling with recurring sin or self-condemnation, remember that God offers comfort, not condemnation; love, not labels. You weren't made to be perfect. It's Christ's perfection that fills your imperfection. Have you experienced the freedom that comes through genuine repentance? Join the conversation and share your journey with us.
