"A New Testament Meet-Cute" (John 4:5-42 CEB)Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at Jacob's well; two people who should have been anywhere other than alone together suddenly dive into the longest theological conversation in the Gospel. In getting to know and understand one another, this Jewish religious leader and Samaritan woman begin to build God's neighborhood. This is work that continues today. Our path is illuminated by the work and witness of the Rev. Fred Rogers (better known as Mr. Rogers).
