What is scripture about? Why is it trustworthy? How does it help us as followers of Christ?

What is doctrine? How do we hold to primary ideas with strong backbones and soft hearts? How does "knowing ideas" relate to worshiping Christ?

What are the simple things to be about as a Christian? Should the church keep us busy? Why or why not? If we're keeping things simple what should we prioritize outside of the church?

What are some indicators of being a consumer rather than serving? How should our gifts be used for others?

What is a description of becoming a mature Christian? How is the church community a vital part of growth? Does the size of a church lend itself to more or less maturity in Christ?

Knowing our purpose and where to fight is crucial to any battle, but when it comes to the gospel the Church sometimes gets confused or distracted- What is the mission? Who is our enemy? How should we fight?

What motivates evangelism and discipleship? What does this look like in our everyday lives? What are the barriers to talking about Christ and following him?

Which is better- a big church or a small church? Does the size of a church matter? What are the pros and cons of each? Do we hope to grow as a church?

What is the Gospel? What do we fear in our culture? How should these intersect?

What does a professional pastor look like? Is the church a business? How should people think about living as a "body"?

How does our culture foster consumerism? How do we detect a consumer mindset? What does it look like for the local church to become a family?

How seeker friendly or relevant should we be? How should we interact with neighbors, the news cycle, preaching, or various trends in living out our faith alongside culture?

We discuss the practicalities of what it means to want "God's glory", rather than our own. It sounds nicely mature as a phrase, but it's more difficult with our hearts than it initially seems...

Is hell unfair? How do we talk about these topics with our friends who see God as evil? What caricatures of Hell and God should be re-oriented?

Why is there suffering? How does the Gospel inform our understanding of it? How should we respond to it as followers of Christ?

What does the Bible actually say about slavery? Why is this conversation necessary? How does this apply to our daily lives here in Redmond?

How should we relate to relatives, co-workers, or neighbors who are gay? What does scripture call us to and inform us of as followers of Christ?

Are women truly equal under Christ? What is the biblical pattern in marriage? Outside of marriage between men and women?

A few issues we tackle: Is the Bible anti-science? What should we think when it disagrees with scripture? Can we let mystery simply be? Where is meaning found?

What does believing that the Bible is "literal" entail? Does scripture use metaphors? Can it be trusted?

Is Christianity inherently violent? What does Christ think of violence? What should Christians think of using violence against others?

What is morality? Are Christians really moral? Are other perspectives "more" moral?

Aren't all religions the same? Isn't Jesus one of many ways to living a good life?

How does Christ relate to all nations and peoples? How do we sort through the many cultural and racial tensions? As Christians what should our priorities be?

What are the benefits of Christianity? Is it a good faith to follow? If so why?

What questions is our culture asking? Do we have compelling answers as followers of Christ? How do we answer and explain? And, what does the Bible say?

What does it mean that we "consider everyone a missionary"? How is the church supposed to function?

What does culture think about role difference? Does that equate to worth and value? Why can't women be elders?

What is foster care? Why should we give? Why are we giving to this organization? How does it help children?

What does it mean to keep in step with the Spirit? Or "quench" the Spirit? How is he still at work?

How do we make sense of scriptures which state that it is Christ who is saving us, yet it also seems to say that we must work out our salvation...? Where does God's will end, and our responsibility begin?

What is baptism? How is it tied to being saved by grace? Why do we wait to baptize people? Should my child be baptized?

Why is scripture complex? What if it's not compelling? Can I trust it?
