Esther
This Bible study, “Faith in Hidden Places: The Book of Esther,” builds on Jesus’ promise in John 1:50–51 that His followers will see “greater things.” It walks through the story of Esther, highlighting how God is powerfully at work even when He seems unseen. Through a clear overview of Esther’s journey—from obscurity to courageous leadership—the study connects her life to the call of every disciple to live on the M.O.V.E.: Motivation, Obsession, Vision, and Exploration. Participants will discover how Esther’s willingness to step forward “for such a time as this” models the kind of active, faith-filled life Jesus invites us into. The study also explores how Philip and Nathanael, as Jewish men familiar with Esther’s story, would have understood Jesus’ call in John 1:41–51. They would have recognized the pattern of God using ordinary people, working behind the scenes, and calling for bold, courageous faith. This connection helps bring the message into focus: following Jesus means stepping into a life of trust, movement, and purpose—even when the full picture isn’t visible. This Bible study challenges participants to move beyond spiritual stagnation and embrace a dynamic relationship with Christ that leads to truly seeing “greater things.”

Ecclesiastes
In this episode, we take an honest look at the tension between the raw reality of Ecclesiastes and the hope we just celebrated at Easter through Jesus Christ. Ecclesiastes tells us life is “meaningless”—or more accurately, a vapor, here one moment and gone the next—reminding us that our time is short, death is certain, and life rarely goes as planned. But the resurrection of Jesus interrupts that story, offering something beyond the fleeting and unpredictable nature of life under the sun. In this conversation, we wrestle with life’s brevity and uncertainty while discovering how, through Christ, what feels temporary can actually carry eternal significance.

Chronicles
This lesson on the books of First and Second Chronicles presents a powerful retelling of Israel’s history through the lens of worship, identity, and God’s enduring faithfulness. Written after the Babylonian exile, Chronicles speaks to a people rebuilding their lives and rediscovering who they are. Rather than focusing on political failure, the narrative highlights God’s covenant with David, the centrality of the temple, and the importance of spiritual leadership. From the opening genealogies that reconnect the people to their past, to the emphasis on David’s role in establishing worship, the lesson shows how God’s purposes continued even through national collapse. As the story unfolds, special attention is given to the kings of Judah, revealing a clear pattern: when leaders seek God, the nation flourishes; when they turn away, it suffers. The lesson underscores the power of repentance, showing that even the most broken situations can be restored when people humble themselves before God. Ultimately, Chronicles ends not in defeat, but in hope, with the decree of Cyrus allowing the people to return and rebuild. This study reminds us that our identity is rooted not in failure, but in God’s faithfulness, calling every generation to restore true worship and trust that His plans are still unfolding.

Kings
The books of First Book of Kings and Second Book of Kings tell the story of Israel’s decline after the reign of King David and King Solomon. The kingdom divides into the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the Southern Kingdom of Judah, and the spiritual direction of each king shapes the nation’s future. Many rulers lead the people into idolatry, while prophets such as Elijah and Elisha call them back to repentance. Because the people continually reject God, Israel eventually falls to Assyria and Judah later falls to Babylon, showing the serious consequences of turning away from the Lord.

✈️ Samuel Bible Study: The Book of Samuel
The books of 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel were originally one continuous work, and we will study them together as one story. This story centers on three major leaders in Israel’s history: Samuel, Saul, and David. Through this book, we learn that: 1. God uses humility to build people up (James 4:10). 2. The pride of people tears them down (Proverbs 16:18). 3. God’s plan is greater than the problems people produce (Genesis 50:20). 4. The Messiah is God’s solution to our missing the mark (Isaiah 9:6–7).
