Growing Families

At Growing Families, our vision is rooted in the desire to see families flourish in faith, cultivating healthy hearts and fruitful habits as they journey together in spiritual growth. Inspired by 2 Peter 3:18, we seek to equip parents with the tools they need to till, plant, grow, and harvest meaningful spirituality in their homes. By creating memories that anchor this season in purpose and transformation, we aim to guide families toward a deeper, more vibrant connection with Christ and with each other.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean that you or your child always act on those beliefs. We want our children to choose values freely and also choose to live a virtuous life.

September | Formation Lesson with Laura Hunter – "Tilling the Soil of our Garden"

In this episode, we’re covering the September formation lesson. This lesson is intended to be done as a family, but it’s ok if you want to listen to it separately and then talk about it together later. In 1 Corinthians 3:6 Paul writes, “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.” As parents, we pray that someone like Paul and Apollos will plant and water in our children’s lives, and we believe that God will make the seed of his word grow. But he has given us the holy job of tilling the soil of their hearts even before the seed is planted. As you listen to this month’s formation video, consider how to prepare your children’s hearts for spiritual growth.
