Hearing By God's Word - EP 63 - A Call to Pray. Understand Why
This episode carries a clear and urgent message. Prayer is not optional. It is necessary.I share a dream that revealed how spiritual realities operate. I saw enforcers. They were watching, waiting, and looking for access. They could not act while people were praying. But the moment someone stopped, they moved. The insight was simple. The method of prayer was not the focus. The consistency was. This episode explains what that means for your life. The enemy does not move randomly. He looks for openings. He looks for gaps. And a gap is not just silence. It is misalignment. You will understand what a gap looks like in real life. You will see how spiritual alertness is lost. You will recognise how chaos begins to enter unnoticed. Then we bring it back to truth.Prayer is alignment.Prayer is resistance.Prayer is how you stand your ground. We walk through key scriptures that show why prayer must be consistent, not occasional. We unpack the role of a watchman. We respond to the call to stand in the gap. This is not about fear. This is about understanding and action. If you have felt pressure, confusion, or instability, this episode will help you see clearly. It will call you back to position.Return to prayer.Stay aligned.Stay aware.Let it be found that when God looks for someone to stand, He will find you.

Hearing By God's Word - EP 62 - Royal Priesthood
In this teaching, we explore the identity believers receive in Christ as a royal priesthood.“Understanding Our Royal Priesthood in Christ” lays a biblical foundation for how we understand who we are and how we live as followers of Jesus. This episode traces the story of God’s design for humanity from the beginning. God created humanity in His image. Fellowship with Him. We hold authority and responsibility over the earth. We walk through the Scriptures to see how that original design was disrupted by sin and then restored through the finished work of Christ. From Genesis to Exodus. From the cross where the veil was torn. To the New Testament revelation that believers now have access to God through Jesus. This teaching explains the two dimensions of the believer’s identity.Priesthood.We live in a continual relationship with God through Christ.Kingship.Walking in the authority and responsibility entrusted to us in the earth.Through passages from Hebrews, Galatians, John, Romans, and Revelation, this episode shows that royal priesthood is not about status. It is about restored function. Believers are called to live in union with God and to represent Him faithfully in the world. This is a fundamental principle for comprehending one's identity in Christ.Walking with God.Representing God.Living in the restored design, Christ came to give.

Strength in the WaitingDescription:In this episode, we explore the powerful message of Psalm 27:14: “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” When Scripture repeats itself, it is an invitation to pay close attention. What does it really mean to wait on the Lord, and why is it so crucial for our faith journey?Through the story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22–33), we uncover how doubt can make us sink and why keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus anchors us through life’s storms. This reflection will encourage you to trust God deeply, pause when He calls you to wait, and find strength in His presence rather than your ability. We’ll also look at practical steps to apply this truth: learning how to wait, be strong, and take heart in the seasons when faith is tested. If you’ve ever struggled with doubt, impatience, or the weight of waiting, this episode will remind you that God’s Spirit is already at work within you.

Hearing By God's Word - EP 50 - Life by the Spirit
Paul begins this chapter with a strong reminder: Christ has set us free, and we must not return to the bondage of the law (v. 1). He warns that relying on the law—like circumcision—for righteousness nullifies the grace of Christ (vv. 2–6). What truly matters is faith expressing itself through love.He urges believers not to be hindered by false teachings that promote legalism (vv. 7–12) and instead to use their freedom to serve one another humbly in love (v. 13). Paul points out that the entire law is fulfilled in the command to “love your neighbour as yourself” (v. 14).He then contrasts two ways of living:The flesh, which produces destructive behaviours like sexual immorality, jealousy, rage, selfish ambition, and more (vv. 19–21). These lead away from the Kingdom of God.The Spirit, which produces the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (vv. 22–23). There is no law against these.Paul concludes by urging believers to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires and to live by the Spirit, staying in step with Him (vv. 24–25). He warns against pride, provocation, and envy (v. 26), which divide the body of Christ.Key Themes:True freedom is found in Christ—not in law or legalism.Love is the fulfilment of the law.Living by the Spirit transforms our character and produces godly fruit. The flesh and Spirit are in conflict; we must choose to walk in the Spirit daily.

Hearing By God's Word - EP 49 - Live By Faith
Romans 1:17This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”Hebrews 12:1-31 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.Philippians 3:7-147 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in aChrist—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
