Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today, I talk all about grieving during the holiday season. This time of year can be incredibly difficult for those who are grieving the loss of a loved on especially because it is around these times that we have the most significant memories with those we lost. I talk about the scripture and what The Lord says about grief and discuss the difficult truth to trying to stay hopeful, joyful and a float during this time of year. It can be incredibly challenging to see the good in things when you are in grief. It can be hard to put a smile on your face but actually mean it. This episode is all about how we can let go of holding onto the negative sides of grief and walk into the part of grieving that still leaves us feeling joyful in the knowing that, if our loved one is with The Lord, we can rest in that and find peace. On today’s episode, I dive into the book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament  and break down the scripture, show how it is applicable to our lives today and also, how corresponding and correlating it is to the teachings of Christ later found in His Ministry. These passages of scripture studied are so important to follow as Christians and should be used in our daily as we develop our character to be more Christ-like. The study comes from Ezekiel 33-36. These chapters in recent times have been very impactful to me and I highly recommend visiting and studying them on your own. Today’s episode is all about “taking accountability” for our own actions, not being self righteous and calling others higher if we see they are not living a life that is pleasing to God. It is our responsibility as Christians to lead by example but also call out, with love, our family in Christ to be better. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today, we are breaking down some scripture from Hebrews chapter 10. There’s something incredibly interesting and very deep that I wanted to address as far as the new covenant and the sacrifice of Jesus. This piece of scripture truly opened my eyes and helped me to continuously understand how meaningful our God is and how everything He does is ordained, perfect and divinely thought out, given to us and placed for us to discover and further understand. Jesus’s sacrifice was the atonement for sins and we are no longer bound to the old covenant of sacrificing animals within a sacred space. His Presence is everywhere and His Blood was shed for our freedom. Today's episode is pretty straightforward. The Lord promoted me to share a testament from my reading yesterday and I figured I would make it into a video until I was called to make an entire podcast episode on it. At the end of the book of Luke, and all of The Gospels, we hear of the story of the crucification of Jesus. Now, as Jesus had passed, He said something so monumental and powerful that we should want to live by this too. You will see it in the episode. It is something that will certainly change my life going forward and I will do everything in my power to live my life with this mindset in mind. Jesus paid the price for us, we owe Him everything. EPISODE 16: WORSHIP WHILE YOU WAIT Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today our focus is to “worship in the waiting”. Whether you are waiting for a spouse, a new job, new car, new home, breakthrough, deliverance, freedom from a spiritual battle, salvation for a loved one, healing, whatever it is, this word applies to us all. This episode is as spontaneous in the Spirit as it gets. The only note I had from the start to finish was “WORSHIP WHILE YOU WAIT” I read some scriptures that apply to the conversation but The Lord truly led this conversation. We know what God’s word says in Isaiah 60:22 and that is “When the time is right, I, The Lord, will make it happen” and yes, this is true but let our heart posture also be, and understood that this is only in accordance to God’s will. He will bring it into fruition, free you from what you’re facing and answer that prayer IF it is of His Will! Today’s topic is “The Lord is never late” I tried to record a video for TikTok a couple of days ago on a revelation I received from a piece of scripture I read but the recording failed in several ways, time and time again. I was then directed to make an entire podcast episode on it so, here we are. I mainly focus on the passage 2 Peter 3:9. I dive into this and discuss how Our God is never late. He protects us, prepares us and provides for us even in the waiting season. And of course ultimately how He wants to lead us into His Will and repentance. I talk a bit too about how sometimes, the things that we pray for aren’t always from God and that may be why He makes us wait. Which in turn leads to a repentant heart and a guiding into God’s actual plan for our lives. I talk about how His timing is perfect and how it is so important for us to trust in His timing and plan regardless of how long we have waited. His plan is always better. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today I focus on the scripture found in Nehemiah 9. I take the majority of the time within this episode simply reading the text of Nehemiah 9. This scripture, in itself, is so powerful. It highlights the Goodness of God and His Mercy. It is one of those laments and declarations from God’s People that we can relate with today so much. I talk about how we are not to abuse God’s Grace and how grace runs out at the gates of eternity. As hard as that is to hear and as hard as this truth is to swallow, it is important that in our time of living our physical life that we are not to take for granted what God has done/ is still doing. God is good even when life is not. God is good even when WE are not. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. This is a very vulnerable, humble and honest episode. Perhaps one that I will be leaving with you and then parting for weeks to come until I return here again. I read from the scripture of “The Women at the well” and discuss how we can all relate to her. Our God is very honest and He checks in with His Convicting Power to help us, never to harm us. Our God is kind and gentle. He is forgiving and caring. Although it might be so hard for us to forgive those who have wronged us, it is important that we note what God says about the lack of forgiveness. I discuss the feelings and spirits that sprout from the lack of forgiveness and talk about why it is crucial for us to forgive even if there is no reconciliation. God says that if we do not forgive others, He will not forgive us and to think that God forgives us day after day are both huge reasons we ought to forgive. It might be hard but it is a must. I talk about how people in our society today have developed a huge dependency on social media and technology. There is certainly good to social media and technology but only based on how we utilize it and for what purpose. I touch on how we, as Christians, should be using social media and what to avoid to flee from sin. I discuss and break down the story of the golden calf in the Book of Exodus. I get into how we can break phone dependency and how we can be free from human “idols” as well. It is so important that we do not use our phones right when we wake up and to fall asleep. It has become an idol and we need to break free from this before it completely over takes us. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today’s episode is all about “lukewarmness” and how to escape it. This episode, I will say, it a bit more geared to those who believe they are lukewarm or not on fire for God. But, the devout believer should listen in as well. I am very honest and confess my own sin of my past in this episode. I read the “Parable of The Sower” taught by Jesus and dive into Romans in regard to the sin that lives in us. As Christian’s we need to apply God’s Word and truth to our lives and not just claim Christ with no action. the Bible says that “faith without works is dead” and although we are saved by Grace through our faith, we still HAVE to live like Christ died for us. This means not living in sin and walking through life trying to justify Christ dying so we could live however we want. This is lukewarmness and it is not pleasing to God in the slightest. God says that He will SPIT the lukewarm out of His Mouth. I pray this word encourages you. I pray the prayers revive you and restore you and lead you into genuine repentance and fellowship with Our God who so freely died so we could live. I touch on negative self talk, how gossip is not fruitful or helpful and how it can end friendships and also on the rotten fruits of “cursing”. “Out of then same mouth comes blessing and cursing” Gossip is deemed normal and taught in our society through reality tv shows and movies and is such a normal thing in friendships and honestly every human connection! Gossip goes entirely against Biblical principles and the teachings of Christ. I mention the toxicity of cursing and slander and how for us to be in the likeness of Christ, we need to be careful of how we speak. It is important how we speak and what we say. Everyone is made in the image of God. It is crucial for us to turn all things into prayer. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. “Jesus had church hurt too.” Today’s episode is a touchy subject for a lot of people and is one of the leading causes of people leaving or walking away from Christianity. We are talking all about “church hurt” and how the world misrepresents Jesus. We know that human beings are flawed and filled with sin. Often times we see people associate the actions of humans as the whole being of “church” and it can lead them to walk away entirely. “Christianity didn’t work for me” is a common response but this response is a direct correlation with the lack of personal relationship with God. I talk about how you can actually build a relationship with God and how to steer away from religion. I am sorry for your “church hurt”. I pray this word encourages you and helps change your mind about Jesus and who He actually is and not how He was falsely represented. (P.S. Welcome to another episode of Heavenly Ever After. Today’s episode is all about stepping out in faith. I talk about the story of Peter stepping out unto the waters to meet Jesus and how he begins to sink because of his lack of faith. “Oh, you of little faith, why did you doubt? Do not be afraid” Jesus says. God needs our faith. He wants us to trust Him, His word and what He says about us. He doesn’t change His mind. This episode is all about taking steps in faith, learning to let go and let God and allowing the Lord to navigate our path. Living for TODAY and the moment is quite literally all we can do. God is who He says He is.
