Have you ever heard "God takes what the enemy made for evil and turn it for good"? Well, we don't just know it, we lived it. We're just two girls from North Carolina who have been given an opportunity to share a testimony of Gods beautiful design and the road it took to be able to have another chance. Not only do we share our testimony, we talk about the love of God, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. We go into the Word of God and try to understand its true meaning and what He asks of us as his children. We hope by doing so we can help others who have lost their way and help them come back home.

    Religion vs. Relationship

    What's the difference between religion vs. relationship when it comes to God? Let's talk about it. Yeshua, Our Compassionate Kohen Gadol (High Priest) Hebrews 4:14-16 14) Therefore, since we have a great Kohen Gadol who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua Ben-Elohim (Son of God) , let us hold firmly to our confessed allegiance. 15 For we do not have a kohen gadol who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all the same ways—yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near to the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need.

    God's Grace Through Grief

    We can never be ready for the loss of a loved one in this life. Death always comes as a shock, whether it is the result of prolonged illness or a sudden accident. We cannot emotionally prepare ourselves for the death of loved ones or ourselves. Every death results in a loss. And there will be sorrow for each loss.Culture urges us to rush through this phase. Even though grief is an unpleasant season, it is an essential component of our recovery. Running away from grief entails running away from the one thing that can make our loss's agony go away. Our real solace and tranquility can only be found in God's shalom. Grief can happen for more than just death of a loved one. When we give our lives to God, our old self dies. But in order to move on from that life and move forward, we have to grief our past self. When we do this, we are beginning to move forward with Christ and leave our past behind us.  ‭‭Romans 6:5-7 TLV‬‬ - [5] For if we have become joined together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also will be joined together in His resurrection— [6] knowing our old man was crucified with Him so that the sinful body might be done away with, so we no longer serve sin. [7] For he who has died is set free from sin.  Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.     The Calling

    What is our calling? What is our purpose? Why am I in this season? Join us as we go into our recent life events that has made this question a topic of discussion. Being called to do something does not mean it's a natural “God-Given” talent. Sometimes God puts you through hard trials to build up that calling in you so you can forth into that calling. Our primary calling is to be in a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that God has called us into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ....Our primary calling is not tied to our employment.... God values us for who we are, not for what we can produce or achieve within work. God's call to us is an eternal one that encompasses and transcends our temporal activities.... ‭‭Mishlei (Pro)‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭CJB‬‬  [5] Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:9‭-‬10‬ ‭CSB‬‬[9] He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.     To: The Prodigals

    This is our personal "letter" to the prodigals. The ones who were like us, the lost, the hurting, the struggling. You are not alone and we have been where you are. We want to share the gift that we have been given, salvation and redemption. We HAVE to tell you what has happened and what has changed our lives forever. Notes: Matthew 18:12-13 CJB  “What’s your opinion? What will somebody do who has a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine on the hillsides and go off to find the stray? And if he happens to find it? Yes! I tell you he is happier over it than over the ninety-nine that never strayed! Matthew 5:1-11 1 Seeing the crowds, Yeshua walked up the hill. After he sat down, his talmidim (disciples)  came to him,  2 and he began to speak. You can not blame God or Yeshua just because other “Christians” were not kind to you or did not show His love. He is perfect and we are not.  Nothing can fill the God sized hole in your heart. Only he can. Luke 1:37 CJB 37 For with God, nothing is impossible.” Jeremiah 32:17 CSB 17 Oh, Lord God! You yourself made the heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!

    Our tongues are powerful. They have the ability to create and destroy. Join us as we read what scripture says about our words and how we can be better at how we use them. He will take you, ripping you out of your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah 6 The righteous will see and fear, and they will derisively say about that hero, 7 “Here is the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, taking refuge in his destructive behavior.” 8 But I am like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God; I trust in God’s faithful love forever and ever. 9 I will praise you forever for what you have done. In the presence of your faithful people, I will put my hope in your name, for it is good. In scripture God says we are able to heal and move things with the power of our tongues. As children of Yeshua we should be mindful in what we speak over ourselves as well as others. Tips on how to control our tongue: 1. Avoid speaking in anger 2. Keep it clean 3. Say nothing 4. Control your thoughts 5. Guard your heart 6. Fill your heart with the word of God 7. Pray without ceasing

    Fruits of The Spirit

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We wanted to start of this year strong and talk about what the fruits of the spirit are and how they are implemented in our everyday life. In the New Testament book of Galatians, the fruit of the Spirit is presented by the Apostle Paul. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22‭-‬23‬ ‭TLV‬‬ [22] But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, and self-control—against such things there is no law.  -Love -Joy -Peace -Patience -Kindness -Goodness -Faithfulness -Gentleness -Self-Control

    Gods Protection

    God's protection is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank goodness we have a never changing God cause boy do we need protecting in this day and age! Join us as we talk about our unchangeable God and how he protects us even when its hard to trust him to do so. Notes: Isaiah 54:17 (CSB)  No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation  raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their vindication is from me.”  Isaiah 41:10 (CSB)    Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. Psalms 23:4 (CSB)  Even when I go through the darkest valley,  I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff ​— ​they comfort me. 2 Corinthians 4:8-11 (CJB) 8 We have all kinds of troubles, but we are not crushed; we are perplexed, yet not in despair; 9 persecuted, yet not abandoned; knocked down, yet not destroyed. 10 We always carry in our bodies the dying of Yeshua, so that the life of Yeshua may be manifested in our bodies too. 11 For we who are alive are always being handed over to death for Yeshua’s sake, so that Yeshua’s life also might be manifested in our mortal bodies. 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 (CJB) 3 But the Lord is worthy of trust; he will make you firm and guard you from the Evil One. 4 Yes, united with the Lord we are confident about you, that you are doing the things we are telling you to do, and that you will keep on doing them. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and the perseverance which the Messiah gives.

Romans 1:26-32 CJB 26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural; 27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion. 28 In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things. 29 They are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; stuffed with jealousy, murder, quarrelling, dishonesty and ill-will; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God; they are insolent, arrogant and boastful; they plan evil schemes; they disobey their parents; 31 they are brainless, faithless, heartless and ruthless. 32 They know well enough God’s righteous decree that people who do such things deserve to die; yet not only do they keep doing them, but they applaud others who do the same. We no longer have to physically die now that we have the sacrifice of Yeshua. To turn to him is to die to self.  Luke 9:23 Then to everyone he said, “If anyone wants to come after me, let him say ‘No’ to himself, take up his execution-stake daily and keep following me. 1 Corinthians, 6: 9-10. CJB Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males,[a] 10 no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. Other translations use homosexuality KJV-  9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, In Strongs the word is in Greek. Arsenokoitēs. Translated means Sodomite. Meaning those who did as the Sodomites did.  Sodomy-sexual intercourse involving anal or oral copulation. I will never leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:8 God give us a free will to choose to follow him Having homosexual feelings is not the choice, choosing to act upon our fleshly feelings instead of turning to God is the sin. We can think about murdering someone, but the murder is the sin. Romans 12:2 2 In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the 'olam hazeh (the world) . Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. We should be transformed by the renewing of our mind. The more we focus on Yeshua, the more we begin to become like him.

    People Pleasing/ Body Image

    Today's world has made people pleasing and struggling with body image an everyday norm. God's word says this was not what he intended for His beautiful creations. Join us as we read what scripture says about this issues and how we can lean into Him for help. People Pleasing Ephesians 6:6 CJB- Don't obey just to win their favor, serving only when they are watching you; but serve as slaves of the Messiah, doing what God wants with all your heart.  Galatians 1:10 CJB-  Now does that sound as if I were trying to win human approval? No! I want God’s approval! Or that I’m trying to cater to people? If I were still doing that, I would not be a servant of the Messiah. 1 Thessalonians 2:4- Instead, since God has tested us and found us fit to be entrusted with Good News, this is how we speak: not to win favor with people but with God, who tests our hearts. Romans 12:2 CJB-  In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. olam ha-zeh, (Hebrew: “this world”), in Jewish theology, presents life on earth, as opposed to ʿolam ha-ba (“the world to come”) the afterlife.  Body Image 1 Samuel 16: Adonai said to Sh’mu’el (Samuel), “Don’t pay attention to how he looks or how tall he is, because I have rejected him. Adonai doesn’t see the way humans see — humans look at the outward appearance, but Adonai looks at the heart.” 1 Peter 3:3-4-Your beauty should not consist in externals such as fancy hairstyles, gold jewelry or what you wear; 4 rather, let it be the inner character of your heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit. In God’s sight this is of great value. Proverbs 31:30- Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 139:14- I praise you because I am Fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. Our bodies are a divine gift. A temple. A dwelling place for the Holy Spirit

    The Upside-down Kingdom

    Why does it seem so hard to be like Christ? It seems sometimes like what God asks us to be is almost impossible! How can we love our neighbor? How are we not not to judge others?     Armor of God/ Strategies of the Enemy

    We have been fought! We apologize this episode came out late, but ironically the enemy tried to stop us and we still won by the grace of God!     Sharing Your Testimony

    Wow friends! Our second episode! We're still learning all this but were getting there. Continue to give us grace. This episode, we really wanted to dive into sharing your testimony and why it's so important! It says many times in the bible that we should share our testimonies and not be ashamed of it. We should be proud of the work God has done in us, but we should share it with LOVE and GRACE. Remember this is for God's glory, not ours. We're just two girls from North Carolina who have been given an opportunity to share a testimony of Gods beautiful design and the road it took to be able to have another chance. Not only do we share our testimony, we talk about the love of God, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit.
