    Luke 5:  1 - 11 1 One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee,a great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God.  2 He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.  3 Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.” 5 “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”  6 And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!  7 A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking. 8 When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.” 9 For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. 10 His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!”  11 And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.

    Daniel 6:10 10 Daniel always prayed to God three times every day. Three times every day, he bowed down on his knees to pray and praise God. Even though Daniel heard about the new law, he still went to his house to pray. He went up to the upper room of his house and opened the windows that faced toward Jerusalem. Then Daniel bowed down on his knees and prayed just as he always had done. Genesis 41:51-52 “Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh. “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my hardship and all my father’s house.” The name of the second he called Ephraim, “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”” Psalm 103:2, NLT  Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. This is the Spiritual blessings 2. Empowers with Godly Character Galatians 5:22,23 - Fruits of the Holy Spirit 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 3. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start  again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. 2.You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement. 3.And  God willing we will move forward to further understanding ‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬ 9.Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don’t believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things, things that come with salvation.  10.For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.  11.Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.  12.Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:12-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ 12.And if the priesthood is changed, the law must also be changed to permit it. 13.For the priest we are talking about belongs to a different tribe, whose members have never served at the altar as priests.  14.What I mean is, our Lord came from the tribe of Judah, and Moses never mentioned priests coming from that tribe.  15.This change has been made very clear since a different priest, who is like Melchizedek, has appeared.  16.Jesus became a priest, not by meeting the physical requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life that cannot be destroyed.  17.And the psalmist pointed this out when he prophesied, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.””

Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled among the cities of the valley and moved his tent as far as Sodom. Now the men of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against the Lord. The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted.     This is from our teaching session of Wednesday Anchor Group. We as a church we been learning verse by verse from the letter of Ephesians. In this podcast we learnt from verse 11 to 14 of chapter 1.  Three things we emphasised in this podcast is; One, Israel first got the privilege to be the chosen Nation and the same privilege was later given to the gentiles through Jesus Christ. Two, We learnt about the seal of the Promised Holy Spirit when we accepted the salvation. Three, Holy Spirit as the engagement ring for the Church.
