We are about our Father's business. We have an open discussion on the difference between God testing our faith, and the consequences of our actions. Being apart of our Father's business isn't always about doing. It's about rejoicing, praying, and being grateful. We may not always understand what's going on but we can always trust that our Heavenly Father is a good good father. He won't fail you. In this episode we talk about Jesus' baptism and the wonderful words that were spoken by our Heavenly Father. How God the Father was pleased with His beloved Son. We are back with season 2 of Holy Hours! Thank you Jesus for blessing us with this opportunity. We are so grateful for God's grace, and his faithfulness. No matter how far we stray away from him, God's love pursues and guides us back to the path he has laid out for us which gives us all faith, and hope that all things will work together for our good and His glory. No matter how far you've gone, no matter how unqualified you are, no matter how many mistakes you have made, God's love is still the same. God still looks at you with loving eyes, and He wants to use you for beautiful works greater than you could ever think or imagine. Internal joy in external circumstances is so important to have. It helps us keep our eyes on the maker of our heart! We know that everything will work out according to the Lord's plan and on His time! Today we touched on the subject of social media, having good intentions with a pure heart, and the dangers of having a deceitful heart. Today's episode was a breath of fresh air! We love being able to be fully transparent with you guys. It says in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." That means that we can put our full faith in Jesus every single time knowing that he will never let us down! Instead of putting our faith in things that fluctuate and change every day. Another topic we touched on was spreading the love, grace, and mercy that our Lord and Savior gives us daily. Spreading that same grace to everyone in our lives, and especially our parents. This weeks challenge is to show extra appreciation to our parents by a simple deed. To have the Lord continuously watching out for us and directing our steps towards something so great is truly such a huge blessing! No one knows better for us than our creator! It says in Proverbs 16:20 that whoever trusts in the Lord will be joyful. When our hearts are focused on the Lord that is when he starts working in us. In today's episode we want to show love and appreciation to all the God fearing women out there! Building their houses up and preparing themselves for the glory of God's plan for their lives. We go into detail of establishing a firm, never failing, foundation of your life through the Lord God Almighty! God designed us all for a divine purpose and when we put our faith in the Lord we can watch him piece our lives together in perfect harmony. In Matthew 16:24 Jesus tells his disciples "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Who will you follow today? Your flesh or Jesus Christ?

Are you looking for true joy, peace, and happiness? In today's episode we discuss living a bright and fulfilled life through God! Proverbs 13:14 says "The law of the wise is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death." The wisdom we receive from this endless fountain protect and preserve us from falling to the consequences of sin. God will take us back, always! Scars, baggage, trauma, and all. He will heal you and make you the new beautiful creation that you were meant to be. 

In this episode, we talk about why we should be grateful when we are corrected. Proverbs 12:1 states "Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid" How often do we let pride limit our growth? You are learning something knew and you have been instructed how to do a certain task but then later on you find yourself not being as efficient. Instead of being open and asking for help we decide to get comfortable, or wait until we are corrected. Are you comfortable with the relationship you have with the lord? Are you going through life right now comfortably and not growing? Pursue everyday with accountability and see how the Lord works in you. 

Get ready for one of the most emotional episodes of Holy Hours. Our first time ever bringing guests on the podcast. Its with great honor that our first guests are the women who raised Franky and I. Jaime's mother Esmeralda and Franky's mother Rosemarie tell their testimonies on how God has stayed faithful during their intense trials and how they never lost hope, stayed in faith, and God answered their prayers.  We dive deep into how much love a mother really has for her children and no matter how bad of kids we were, or how bad we treated them, our mothers never stopped loving us. It really represents the same love that God has for us, no matter how many times we reject or turn our backs on him, he never stops loving us. Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers out there! 

In today's episode we explain how to live a perfectly balanced life through Christ, share stories on how pride leads to shame, and how humility grants wisdom. We were made to shine bright in a dark world in need of some light! Matthew 6:12 says "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." Understand that we are all imperfect and that we should allow room for error and forgiveness. We are called to love one another the same way Jesus loves us! Our riches are in Heaven and our rewards will be waiting for us there. God gives us everything we need in order for us to fulfill the plan he has for us. When we fully understand that God will provide everything we need in his divine timing, then we can truly experience peace and serenity. 

This episode we go over the wise sayings of king Solomon. The one thing that Solomon asked God for was wisdom.  Proverbs 10:9 says "He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his way will become known." Living your life with integrity is crucial in order to overcome insecurity. How many times has being insecure created strife in your relationships? Are you doing the right thing when no one is watching? Find out how walking with integrity and being secure in yourself will improve your relationship with God and your loved ones.  

Are you living life with an open mindset? Are you setting yourself up for God to make miracles happen in your life? Living with an open mindset is what makes someone wise. Proverbs 9:9 says "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning." If we are not in the right mindset to receive advice, and correction then how can we expect God to work in our lives? We won't be able to see the deep meaning and lesson behind the trials we go through. 

Are you on the path you are supposed to be on or are you currently on a detour? We talked about how we all take detours and how we can bring ourselves back to the right path that God has paved for us. Proverbs 8 states that "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance" We all have our moments or maybe even living a life with pride, you can't live a happy life while being prideful. The opposite of pride is self esteem and we break down why they are extremely different.

In today's episode we explain the dangers of sexual immorality and choosing the wrong partner. In modern relationships were hookup culture is normalized and seen as "acceptable." We dive into where the bible explains the consequences and warnings to those who participate in this trend. Not only by our actions but also by our thoughts and motivations. Wisdom is so important and it grants us security, It keeps your path clear and bright. It keeps you from stumbling and falling. We dive into the word and explain how wisdom has changed our lives and our relationships.  Hear the answer to the question "How do I know if something is from God or from satan?"  Along with what having faith and believing in your prayers can do. 

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. Trusting the Lord will be the best thing you do, you will feel relieved, the stress will fade and you still start to feel peaceful again. 

We dive into the book of Proverbs known as the book of wisdom. We will read the message straight from the bible and then break it down so you can fully understand it.
