The most pivotal moment in all of history is the moment when the stone at Jesus' tomb was rolled away - not by men, but by God himself - prpoving that Jesus was who He said He was. We all carry stones that are too big for us to handle. But that single rolled stone at the tomb means that Jesus is already rolling our stones away for us. Join us as we celebrate the Risen Jesus!

This week, the mood of Psalm 23 takes a turn in a different direction. It can seem bad at first, but if we allow its message to penetrate our hearts, it actually can bring us great comfort. But there's something we tend to miss that ties it all together, and this week, we'll discover how we can have hope, even in the darkest valley.

Would it surprise you to know that NOTHING in this life is really about us? We love the recognition, the glory, and the 15 minutes of fame, but it's really not supposed to be that way. We were designed for something greater than patting ourselves on the back. In order to get back to the place we're supposed to be, we have to lean on the one who can guide us along the path. It's natural - we like to prepare ourselves for the good things in our lives. But how do we prepare to worship? Are we just as proactive there? Sometimes we become so familiar with a word or a concept that it's true meaning gets lost. When we go to church, we always talk about "Worship". We treat it likes it's a thing we can carry around in our pocket and use when we need it. But the true meaning of worship is so much greater than we can imagine. This week, we'll start a journey to (re)discover the true meaning of worship.

We've all heard it, "Practice makes perfect." It's one of those great ways to motivate our kids (and maybe ourselves) to do something we don't like to do. One thing's for sure, practice can be beneficial whether we like it or not. In fact, it's one of the things we can use to help us find the lasting joy we're all searching for. We're so used to living life based on the "merit system" that it really doesn't even affect us anymore. The strong survive. To the victor go the spoils. We get what we deserver in this life. While those things might be true, they don't offer much joy. In fact, it sounds alot like work! There's a different standard and a different way, and that way can bring us tru lasting joy. We're not designed to survive alone in this world. We all need people. More than that, we all need at least ONE person that we consider a confidant - someone who give us Wise Counsel. Without that person in our lives, it can be hard to navigate sometimes. But this week, we'll learn that we can have the Perfect Counselor through Jesus. This is one you don't want to miss.

The Christmas season is in full swing, and we're rushing around trying to make everything perfect. But Christmas isn't about "making things perfect" - it's about worshipping the perfect one. This week, we'll discuss one of the most prestigious titles for the perfect one and learn how to live differently because of it.

We've set the foundation of our protection in the battle: The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shoes of peace. Even though it's so tempting to stop there, we're not finished yet! The FULL armor doesn't work if we try to take a shortcut. This week, we'll complete the armor and learn how to wear it ALL THE TIME.
