    A Birthday Message

Please join me in wishing my favorite girly, Savannah a Happy Birthday.I recorded this cover of “True Colors” this morning because my baby girl has been having a rough dose of adulting the past few months, and I just want her to know that many beautiful souls see her with eyes wide open, for all her humanness, and love her just the same.Savannah, I love you to the moon and back. I hope you enjoy your song.Life’s messy, make mistakes! It is all for the good.((((HUGS)))),MomP.S. American songwriters Billy Steinberg and Tim Kelly wrote the song "True Colors", which was originally written about Steinberg's mother. Cyndi Lauper made the song famous in 1986 when it topped the Billboard charts. The song has been covered by many artists, including Phil Collins, and most recently Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. This is a public episode. Emotional Intelligence, Part 2

Welcome back to Human Design for Parents and Kids!Today, I have a special guest on my podcast, Jess Bubbico. She is a 4/6 Emotional Manifestor. She initiated an appearance on the show to talk about how to develop and teach Emotional Intelligence within ourselves and with the children in our lives. One of the amazing tools she shared was her children’s book, “Jessi Lou & The Magic of You!” - an adorable asset that parents and educators can use to begin the conversation about the emotional wave.As we discuss in the show, experiencing an emotional wave as a child is really powerful and can be kind of scary. And frankly, parents and other adults can experience the emotional wave as unnerving as well. During this two-part episode, we discuss the emotional wave from both the perspective of the person with a Defined Solar Plexus, as well as from the perspective of the person with an Undefined Solar Plexus. What is Emotional Intelligence and Why Does it Matter?Emotional Intelligence is the art of understanding and processing emotions. It matters because:* 1 in 5 children experiencing mental health issues, and only 20% receiving supportive care* Large-scale studies link unprocessed emotions to illness and chronic health conditions, making it even more critical for children to also help prevent physical dis-ease.* According to the WHO half of mental health conditions start by the age of 14, most undetected and untreated. Additionally, 20% of teens have seriously considered suicide, making strong habits that will help during the trying adolescent years more important than ever.* As a collective, we are currently undergoing a mutation of the Solar Plexus. The new paradigm will embrace the wisdom of the Solar Plexus. Learning to respect and harness this powerful energy will be one of the keys to our future as a society.Jess Bubbico (4/6 Emotional Manifestor, RAX Vessel of Love) is a Human Design/Gene Keys guide and former pediatric speech pathologist. Jess is the author of "Jessi Lou & The Magic of You!" (available on Amazon), a beautifully illustrated, Human Design-inspired storybook to help caregivers and children learn how to accept and lovingly work through big emotions (whether defined or undefined) while spending quality time together reading a captivating story.* Learning to love big emotions* Supporting Highly Sensitive Kids* Not taking our child’s emotions personally* Creating a mind-body connection at an early age* Role modeling for kids* Putting it into practical actionJessi Lou is a young girl with big emotions that often leave her feeling overwhelmed. She is met by a special friend who teaches her to love and accept herself through her big feelings and provides a simple 5-step framework to help children and adults to work through big emotions together. You can hear Jess talk about the book on CBS 12 West Palm Beach News and on Eyewitness News 3’s Great Day Connecticut. Parenting as a Projector

Join Ardelia Lee (Self Projected Projector) + Sashya Clark (Mental Projector) as we discuss Parenting as a Projector. We highlight how we parent our Projector, Generator, and Manifestor kids and the struggles, strategies, and successes we’ve found along the way.Sashya shares her experience raising four kiddos – three Generators and a Projector – and the strategies that she’s found that work for them. She highlights how she strives to support her kids – her Generators especially – to be independent and capable of solving problems on their own through their Sacral responses.Ardelia shares some about her Manifestor and the challenges and strategies she has learned along the way. Our conversation also shows the vast difference not just between the Human Design types – but the kids themselves.  Sashya doesn’t parent all of the Generators the same way, and being aware of their unique designs makes it easier for her to understand how she can support them as individuals.Listen in for an honest parenting conversation and to learn how we apply Human Design within our families to support positive growth. This episode originally appeared on Ardelia's show, "That Projector Life."To get a free copy of your Human Design Chart and complimentary Mini Reading Report (PDF Download) go to www.sashyaclark.com/free-human-design-report/Click Here for more information about How to Make Parenting Easier with Three Human Design Secrets. Welcome back to Human Design for Parents and Kids! In this episode, I am interviewing a dear friend and well of Human Design Wisdom from several years of embodying her experiment with Human Design. She is a 5/2 Splenic Projector. PHS is the “Primary Health System” of Human Design, identified by the variables in the chart. With PHS we can determine the optimal way a child can digest food and information. In Part 2 of this episode, we talk about:* Why Ra taught that Human Design was for the children* The difference between “having morals” and pretending to have morals,* Ra’s role in the storyline of Human Design is as an alarm clock to wake up the Not-Self, and why that may not be attractive to those who are already living their design* First Time Obedience (and my unpopular opinion about it) and how that trains our children to let someone else be the boss, and may set them up for toxic relationships* Three main points to focus on when raising children (The Human Design Parenting Kit, per se)* PHS, feeding them according to their variables* Make sure they are getting the right sleep according to their design* Let them follow their Strategy and Authority, (unless it violates yours)* A great metaphor for what we should focus on in our parenting (based on cultivating various fruit trees in a garden)* Why do adults need to decondition first and learn to follow our Strategy and Authority first (for seven years) before we learn to eat using our PHS, but PHS is a HIGH Priority for children, especially in the first 7 years? (Laetetia’s answer to this question was mind-blowing.)If you would like to learn more about Parenting by Human Design, you are welcome to enroll in my self-paced/secret podcast class, “Parenting by Design 101: How to Read Your Child’s Chart” you can also join our Facebook group where Laetitia and I are available to answer more of your Human Design questions! You can follow Laetitia on Instagram here. You can follow Sashya on Instagram here. Getting to Know the Real You

The knot in my stomach was tight.  My knees shook as I reached across the jewelry counter and greeted my precious wedding ring for the first time in a month."Is this my diamond," I wondered as I brought the ring close, and examined it.  Timidly, I asked for a glass to look closer, and they obliged. You see, only one month after my nuptials were spoken, a thread of my jeans had bent a prong back on my wedding ring, and I had to press the lifetime warranty we bought to its limits. My husband and I grew up modestly. Our entire life savings was recently exhausted on our rings, our wedding, and our honeymoon. I was so sick to my stomach that I had already damaged the ring.  And I was worried that during the process of fixing it, and soldering my wedding band to the engagement ring that corporate greed would take over and I would end up with a piece of glass, or worse, a yellowed, less valuable diamond than the one we had so carefully picked out...the one we thought we couldn't afford...But, I had an ace up my sleeve.  I had studied my diamond for several months, (mostly admiring it!).  I had already had it mapped and insured.  I knew within MOMENTS of peeking at it in good light that it was mine.  I quickly recognized the minor imperfection across the face of one side, looked up, and smiled at the jeweler.Apparently, I had been holding my breath, bracing for a fight, because I sighed. How to Spot a CounterfeitWhen we study, admire, and KNOW our Human Design like the back of our own hand, we can protect ourselves from much unnecessary suffering.Join me and my friend, Sunny, from Sunny Life Solutions as we discuss this and much more on this week's podcast.During this interview find out* What the show “White Collar,” has to do with Human Design and Diamonds* My wildly unpopular opinion about "Deconditioning."* My Best tips for helping children with their Big Waves of Emotions (works for meltdowns, too)* How to break electromagnetic aura bonds when the energy exchange becomes overwhelming so you can tune into your own Inner Authority. If you want to skip the Podcast (and I HOPE you DON'T!) Parenting with the Human Design Sacral Center

Parenting with the Human Design Sacral CenterHave you ever wondered why some kids seem to have energy for days while others crash and burn after just a little while? The answer may be in the Human Design Sacral Center—the center of vitality, rhythm, and sustainable energy.🌿 A defined Sacral child often thrives in rhythms and routines. Parenting with the Human Design Throat Center

The Throat Center is one of the most misunderstood — and most conditioned — areas in Human Design. Whether your child has a Defined Throat (with a consistent voice) or an Undefined Throat (with an adaptive, shifting voice), this center shapes how they communicate, express themselves, and even how they feel seen by others. In this episode, we explore:* Why the Throat is called the “town center” of the bodygraph — and why it isn’t where manifestation actually begins* How a Defined Throat brings a steady, reliable way of speaking (and why it’s not the same as “talking too much”)* How an Undefined Throat amplifies the voices around it, often making kids truth detectors — and why pressuring them for answers rarely works* The connection between the Throat and hormones, self-expression, and deconditioning* Parenting strategies for helping both Defined and Undefined Throat children feel validated and heardYou’ll also learn about the 11 gates of the Throat Center and their distinct “voices”:* Gate 62 → “I think / I don’t think” (facts & details)* Gate 23 → “I know / I don’t know” (insight)* Gate 56 → “I believe / I don’t believe” (storytelling)* Gate 16 → “I identify / I don’t identify” (skills & resonance)* Gate 20 → “I am / I am not (in the now)” (present clarity)* Gate 31 → “I lead / I don’t lead” (democratic leadership)* Gate 8 → “I contribute / I don’t contribute” (unique expression)* Gate 33 → “I remember / I don’t remember” (story & lessons from the past)* Gate 35 → “I experience / I don’t experience” (growth through progress)* Gate 12 → “I can try / I can’t try” (social caution)* Gate 45 → “I have / I don’t have” (gatherer & educator energy)✨ Resources Mentioned:* Run your free Human Design chart at www.sashaclark.comIf your child struggles to find their voice, feels pressured to speak, or talks nonstop, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening — and how to guide them with patience and love. You are welcome to run your child’s free Human Design chart at https://sashyaclark.com/free-human-design-report/ Be sure to download one of the complimentary mini-reading reports! You can follow Sashya on Instagram here.Gate descriptions are quoted from “Living Your Design” by Lynda Bunnell. June is Pride Month

During this episode (which originally aired via Substack June 1) I tell the story of how my 3/5 Emotional Generator Daughter came out to us, and how I really didn’t see it coming. (5th Line Projected Expectations, probably). My heart for sharing this story is that we all have unchecked biases, projections, and expectations of our children that they may (or may not) be agreeing to. My heart is that you will hear my tale, and just take a moment today to run your own child’s chart, and just let the objective data of the report inform you. You don’t have to DO anything drastic. But let it tell you if your son is introverted, and needs loads of data before taking a risk, or, like my other son, learns through struggle. Just take a peek, and see what’s there. You might be surprised and delighted! You can run their charts for free at www.sashyaclark.com AND my charts come with a free MINI report to help you get a basic overview of what all those numbers mean. (You can always reach out to me for more information)Loving people for who they are isn’t just sexy, it’s life-saving.The cost of intolerance is expensive.  Check out these stats from The Trevor Project:* 45% of LGBTQ youth seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year.* 14% of LGBTQ youth attempted suicide in the past year.* Fewer than 1 in 3 transgender and nonbinary youth found their home to be gender-affirming.* 60% of LGBTQ youth who WANTED mental health care in the past year were NOT able to get it.But here’s the good news:* LGBTQ youth who felt high social support from their family reported attempting suicide at less than half the rate of those who felt low or moderate support.* LGBTQ youth who found their school to be LGBTQ-affirming reported lower rates of attempting suicide.Do you know what one of the easiest ways to support someone is?  To see them, hear them, release our expectations, and love them for who they are, not for who we want them to be.No, I don’t let my kids walk all over me.  No, they aren’t jerks, either.  But, they ARE cherished for who they are, and Human Design has helped me give that gift to them.If you are asking yourself:“I wonder if there is anything I have missed?”  or “I wish I could get inside his head and understand his inner world?”  or “I know I could help better if I just knew what she was thinking!”Then you this new resource I created for you is going to make you smile!  It is called “Communication by Design” and it is a guide to streamlining your communication with your kiddos (or your friends, or siblings - it will work for them, too!).Click here, and update your information on my list*, and I will get it in your inbox ASAP.All the best,SashyaP.S. June is Pride Month.  Please consider donating to the Trevor Project and saving a life.  Please also consider emotionally adopting anyone in your circle of influence who has been emotionally abandoned by their peeps and could use a Mom Hug right now.  (Give them a second one for me?)P.S.S. *I just switched to a new email provider “MailerLite” so you *may* be getting this email more than once, which is why I am updating my list, so that doesn’t keep happening!  Here’s that link again, if you want “Communication by Design” in your inbox. The Human Design System

Human Design blends Kabbalah and quantum mechanics, I’Ching and biochemistry, chakra systems, and genetics. Like any system, it has limitations as well as value.  Its value is that it helps us to accurately analyze what part of our current experience is “conditioned” and what part is our true self, leaving us with a decision to discard beliefs or behaviors that no longer serve us.  It also helps us to accurately zoom in on our strengths, and potential issues in relationships with others.  One of its major limitations is that it is solely focused on the base two soul expressions (the neshama and ruach), and does not accurately take into account the upper three soul expressions, nor a connection or belief in a higher power (G-d) for guidance and direction.  Additionally, many of the original Human Design practitioners (those who studied with its founder, Ra) tend to really buy into a cynical belief that we are completely powerless over the dynamics of our biology and chart, again, removing the emphasis on spiritual and emotional development over our base instincts, as well as the transformative power of a personal relationship with our Creator. In today’s episode we discuss the Human Design System and it’s synthesis. To learn more about Human Design visit www.sashyaclark.com This is a public episode.
