This episode is about a woman who refused to give up.  She refused to give up in the face of massive opposition.  She didn't give up after facing insults and offenses.  She didn't give up when people were trying to hold her back and told her "no" many times.  In fact, she refused to give up until she got exactly what she wanted.  In this episode, we're going to talk about persistence because persistence is the key to our Christian walk, and it is the key to our success.

James 1: 17 tells us that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, comes down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." But what happens when the gift that came from above begins to annoy you or become a burden in your life?  What do you do then?  It is possible for God to withdraw His grace and presence from our work or ministry when we begin to hate His gifts.  The blessings which we have grown to hate can begin to dry up and leave us in a position of  crying out to God for His grace and favor once again.In this podcast, LaToya discusses three mindset shifts to get us back on track to appreciate God's blessings and give Him all the glory for what He has done in our lives.

What are you creating today with your words? A creative power is behind the words that we speak. Every person, believer and nonbeliever alike, have the same ability to create using words. The difference with the believer is that we are told to add Christ to it! Whatever we do in word, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Did you know that it’s possible to do good works and not be fruitful in doing so? How does this happen? It looks like this: we get what seems like a great idea at the time. Then we just set out to do it! We launch a website, an IG page, a logo, get a board of directors together, write a vision and mission statement, start collecting funds or making money from it. People begin to be blessed by it. We begin to feel good about it and then lo and behold, you somehow begin to get a strange feeling on the inside that God isn’t in it!  Now what? In this podcast, we will discuss what fruitfulness really means and how to recognize whether your latest idea or project is really from God.

It is possible to be in a position of leadership and be void of God's presence,  relationship and friendship.  The story of King Saul is a perfect illustration of a leader who lost his way and the presence of God.  In this podcast, we discuss Saul's disobedience and the severe consequences he faced after disobeying God's word. We then contrast this with Peter and his denial of Jesus Christ.  Peter's leadership story shows us that the grace of God is available for us today and something that Christian leaders could rely upon to sustain the presence of God.
