I Want You to Know

This episode it dedicated to our Sally. She faced numerous challenges during this period, yet her resilience and strength were truly inspiring for both her father and me. Reflecting on this season brought tears to my eyes as I recalled the difficulties you endured, the battles you fought silently, and the moments we chose not to share. However, witnessing how God's wisdom shielded you from unseen dangers reaffirms His unwavering love for you, time and time again! We couldn't be prouder of you! We eagerly anticipate witnessing the incredible young woman that God is shaping you to be!    

Deep conversations matter! Most people are intimidated to really get into conversations that ask deep questions and share who they really are, but when we do, relationships can be so rich and fulfilling. When we share our heart, our hurts, our struggles we connect on a deeper level allowing others to see the real us. Yes, it can be scary at first, and we need to be careful who we open up to, but I have realized this is what most people are longing for. They want to be known and accepted for who they are. Strip away the façade of "who we are supposed to be" and just be real. When you get an opportunity to connect with someone like this, a funny thing can happen; You receive a bit of joy…hope… peace. In todays episode I challenge you to be the one to open up and jump into those rich conversations that bring a heart connection to those around you.

This is a podcast for our kids.  No not for them right now, but for them in the future. In this podcast you will learn right along side us as we are parenting in the moment, learning to teach and love our kids better, learning to grow as a couple and as a family to reflect the Godly values we hold dear.   This is a behind the scene look into the deep conversations Wade and I have as we think back on life happenings and talk about the current issues our family is facing. So, Sally, Owen and Rosie, we created this podcast for you. Why, I'm not really sure other than to show our love for you in a lasting way. We want you to learn from us, learn about us and hear how we have grown right along side you.  Being your parents is the greatest joy of our lives, and in some small way, maybe this podcast is a way we can hold on to you a little longer!
