So much wrong with the hippy life... so much learning to undo and yet lessons you keep for life too. Sex was not respected as a holy sacred thing. Sex was abused and so children were abused. Abuse of something so right and good is evil.

How can a 12 year old hitchhike around the country? Shouldn't you be in school? I had my share of dealings with the noble police forces of the U.S. and Canada.

The year of being 12 is drawing to an end and I still love the life. Free and unbridled, naïve and vulnerable but learning some of lifes biggest lessons at 12 years old. Take some LSD and the selfish hippy lifestyle is exposed...

Humans have relationship issues. We get jealous , we want control, we want affirmation from others... These traits are "human" and they infect us with barriers to perfect love. We put all kinds of road blocks in our own paths to loving others. Learning about Gods plan for the world, it's beginings and it's end, taught me how important loving others is.. Drugs and free love wer "fun" but they, left a dirty feeling, a dark hole in my soul, in my heart. Learning and sharing is all I have...

Hippy kid, Dead Head... When I was 12 I lived a lot of my life to experience the Live Dead, The Grateful Dead. I believed I was a spiritual brother of the whole band but especially Gerry Garcia. I sought every opportunity to be at their concerts. This culminated on my 13th birthday (listen to episode 1&2 for that story) and even as an adult I was deeply grieved by the death of Garcia. Check out this story and some of the life lessons I observe that came from this experience.

Events that affect you not actually your experience but intersecting with yor experience. Suicide and the spin offs it produces. Church life not always the good life. Who is the true church? Just a glimpse, to see some of he diverse influences in my life... your life is probably just as diverse. I grew to love creativity. I enjoy the process of creation. Creative endeavours are life giving, energizing and help create community. I reference Romans 8:1 and Romans 8 it a favpurite for understanding life and creation but I meant to say Romans 1:16-32... Everybody wants to know the future. This gizmo can tell you the future! NO LIE! You just have to be stoned on acid and have a con man in your midst. Oh well everyone has to eat so pay the man...

Happy New Year! 2024 is on the horizon. Didn't want to go to deep into a story ,wanted to keep it a little shorter. Oh well once I start talking sometimes it's hard to stop. A story about being honest and the cost that requires ... sometimes.

Looking at Christmas past. Some memories of being a poor hippy kid at Christmas... it wasn't bad. Cristmas is magical to a child and all who would be enchanted.

More Alabama memories. Civil rights struggle and a white child in Birmingham Alabama. Violence s not the best way. Anger is not either.

JFK and MLK. Life as a white child in Birmingham Alabama 1966-67. Bussing black children to white schools. Parents who hate, friends who don't. the dichotomy of left and right, liberal and conservative. Who's right in Gods eyes?

What happens when a child believes something you abhor? What happens when hatred over powers reason? Whats a legal guardians responsibility when the legal guardian despises authority? Lots af angst and lots of healing...

After the LSD experience... what now? The life of the peace, love, freedom hippy isn't always what you might think. The Love isn't real, the peace is counterfeit and freedom is a lie considering the bondage of hatred carried in the heart of men.

Protect the young ones and nurture good mental health and pure, virtuous, habits. Society will benefit as well as the individuals, the children.
