Angelyka has a frightening vision, shaking her to her core. Love was lost and the people turned against her, attacking her, hitting her with blunt objects. As Angelyka waits, she sees that her phone has missed calls, and it is her father.She reluctantly listens to the voicemail and she sighs in mental fatigue, calling him back, leading to a heartwrenching truth as to why the contract was formed.As the argument escalated and he tells her that things would go back to normal, if she dies.The hurtful statement causes Angelyka to faint, her heart reaching a breaking point emotionally. Kendall can see the heartache Angelyka hides behind a grin.

Tensions rise as Angelyka's obsessive stalker, Akari, shows up with his girlfriend, Alyssa. The disrespect mounts as Honibea is approached by Akari, which Juvez immediately intervenes. Angel walks back into the hideout, only to overhear a deadly plot to kill her best friend, Honibea.She goes to escape but she's caught by the guards, and they bring her to Narcissus. He gives her an ultimatum, and Angel outright refuses, taking a sharp blow to her ribs for it.In a brief moment, her powers awaken and she escapes.Kendall spots her and rushes to her aid. They head out further, into the bustling city streets.

Angel takes the lead, as she confronts Narcissius, telling him to back off Honibea or else there will be consequences for the Serpent Alliance.

After a very steamy night with Kendall, Angel wakes up, silently thanking the lord for not having to go to work.Honibea teases her a little, knowing what took place between them, during breakfast. Angel spots the letter and she decides to take matters into her own hands.After a little more conversation, she goes to get ready for a fierce confrontation...

Angel gets home and as the late night hours come, she can't get her mind off of him. She remembers their early childhood, running around, without a care in the world.She smiles to herself, and finally gives him a call, inviting him over to their place, as she is willing to make this grow.

Taking Honibea's advice, she gets ready and heads out, while Honibea has her own private conversation with her boyfriend, Juves.She waits for him, her elegance and wittiness drawing him to her.The conversation ends with him kissing her on the cheek, leading her to the realization that maybe, just maybe she might be able to be happy, in the midst of the ongoing tensions.

She quits the Serpent Alliance, citing that they have lost their purpose, and she no longer wanted to be a part of it.Angel is proud, because she just wants her to have peace.Honibea gently suggests that she goes out with her crush, Kendall, saying that she has to at least try and see the more beautiful side of humanity, instead of being so disappointed in it.

Honibea gains her courage and refuses to betray the people.She puts her foot down, her stance clear and concise. She is no longer doing anymore sneak attacks. She is walking away from the bloodshed and will do what she can to stem the problem rising in the quiet city.

Angel finds solace and peace in Honibea. Her light is what gives her peace in a chaotic world.Honibea wants her to live, to be a little more connected. She brings up Kendall, when Angel starts to doubt that humanity has the ability to overcome their fog of deception.
