Through the Eyes of a Child
Lyrics: Through the eyes of a child who is looking up to you It’s easy to see all the good and nothing old See they hang on your words that you mean and I heard that They listen and become what they’re told Through the eyes of our children We’ll fix what is broken To see the world like new, as we begun And you’ll never discover Like how they uncover The way the world can look when we are young Through the times that we live in it feels good to give in to Scroll another time; feel connected and alone It’s not healthy to lie there, you’ll live and you’ll die there And all you’ll have to show is on your phone In the arms of an Angel You’ll go to a strange hell To see the life that could have been for you And you’ll never recover From what you discover That it’s Hell no matter what it is you do

Found My Love
Lyrics: I hope you’re happiest today With the life you’ve made I hope your happiness will stay And you won't be afraid Of the days ahead and how they will define you Or the others who may come into your life We all need a helping hand And an ear to lend We all want someone to understand And be there to spend All the days and all the nights with you forever Maybe someone who you call your best friend So you’ve found your love in this cold dark place And it’s everything you could have dreamed of And you wait for them to hurt you All the while you’ll never let them go And they won’t let you I hope there’s colour in the grey When you’re feeling blue I hope you know they’re gonna stay They’re in love with you And no matter what this world will throw towards you There is love in each and every moment then Cus I found my love in this cold and dark place And it’s everything I could have dreamed of I’ve been waiting at the corner of your life Prepared to step right in, from when I met you And with all the days ahead It’s hard to see where I’m going There’s only you and I, and I know this Nothing matters in the end So let’s spend this time well knowing Life is only us and what we miss And life gives us plenty to grieve The things we lose, the people that leave Why do people go? Why do people stay? It’s not for me to know We all will find our way, like I found my love in this cold and dark place And it’s everything I could have dreamed of I’ve been waiting at the corner of your life Prepared to step right in, from when I met you I'm glad I met you

Her Man
Lyrics: Drop by on a holiday, or a Sunday afternoon We’ll all get together then, even if it won’t be soon Oh I know it will all be fine, Drinks will flow and the sun will shine And we’ll smile again One day goes into another, when you rediscover, what it means to be alive Make time to enjoy your living, while you’re trying to survive Joy will come and joy will go And in her arms you’ll always know Things will be okay And her eyes still glimmer like a thousand stars And they close just a little in between the bars For she gets a little bit of shut eye when she can So we dance in the club till the sunlight shows And I follow her no matter which way she goes And I’m proud I can be called her man She plays in another league, and it’s far above my own On loan to another team, playing far away from home She has come from way up high To visit me I don’t know why But she says it’s real (she’s already met my mother, And my older brother, and my sister now as well, I know for a fact I love her, I’ve been put under her spell I could stare right at a wall As long as she’s there it doesn’t matter at all what it is I do And her eyes still glimmer like a thousand stars And they close just a little in between the bars For she gets a little bit of shut eye when she can So we dance in the club till the sunlight shows And I follow her no matter which way she goes And I’m proud I can be called her man Like snow is to a snowman, Like branches are to leaves Like rain is to a rainbow in the sky That’s all you need to know man It isn’t make believe You wish and chat for this and that, But love will get you by And her eyes still glimmer like a thousand stars And they close just a little in between the bars For she gets a little bit of shut eye when she can So we dance in the club till the sunlight shows And I follow her no matter which way she goes And I’ve found what I’ve been told A feeling can’t be sold, So I’m proud I can be called her man

The Bird
Lyrics: Some people live a life of shame and greed Some people give all the can spare Others sit on the fence to Discreetly save their pence to live So the life they live they can bare Dumb people laugh and love the same as you Not knowing anything is bliss Let worries pass you by now Dry off these tear s you cry now Life will treat you better than this They slip on the floor, though the sign says caution, You know how it goes If I tell you once you bet I'll tell you twice A man reaps what he sows It's easy to lose faith in us The foolish kind of men Cus if I told you once you bet I told you twice And I'm gonna keep on telling you over and over again Once I was happy just to sit and wait Then I was giddy just to breathe Now I have little hope for My fellow man who cope or thrive It’s the cruelty of being alive Sometimes I study all the birds at play See how another species live How they are flying sweetly Without a care completely free To be whatever they should be So they peck on the seeds or the crumbs of bread loaf You know how it is If they peck it once, you know they peck it twice A bird lives just for this It’s easy to love the bird Because the bird is wild and free And in the light of day when there are bills to pay The bird looks good to me So they peck on the seeds or the crumbs of bread loaf You know how it is If they peck it once, you know they peck it twice A bird lives just for this It’s easy to love the bird Because the bird is wild and free And in the light of day when there are bills to pay The bird looks good to me (x4)

It's a Beautiful Day
Lyrics: It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling for you Some days are not very nice You give into a momentary struggle or vice Life knocks you down but you rise again It’s only a matter of when So far things have worked out alright There is less in the way of the day or the night It’s not gone quite according to plan There’s no way that it can You are the shoes beneath my feet You’re a piece of the puzzle to make my life complete You are the umbrella in the rain You’re the rarely gotten remedy to all of my pain It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling for you It’s a beautiful day to just survive And I’m falling, I’m falling it’s true Look back to when we met We had the time of our lives That we could never forget It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling for you I work a little too hard And I find that I struggle to lower my guard Why break the habit of a life well led And try living instead Because every time that I try The failure of other people come into my mind It’s hard to start when the end’s already in sight But it’s different tonight You are the pick to my guitar You’re the tyre inflator that lives within my car You are glasses to my eyes You’re the belt around my waist But only when it applies It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling for you It’s a beautiful day to just survive And I’m falling, I’m falling it’s true Look back to when we met We had the time of our lives That we could never forget It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling For you and you forever, Cus everything you do just makes me happy All the way through this crazy little ride Just you, yes you, and me forever, Yes it’s true, you make me happy I’m only trinna say what I feel deep down inside Deep down inside It’s a beautiful day x4 Look back to when we met We had the time of our lives That we could never forget It’s a beautiful day to be alive And I’m falling, I’m falling for you

Sins of the Father
Lyrics: Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, the sins of the father? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins that the father has done? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, who won’t even bother? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father? The father has sinned so the son, Must bare his cross and some I run in circles in a shroud of doubt My Father left, my father left me We’ve all been searching and there’s no way out Someone protect, someone protect me You and all these people can be here at home (safe and sound) Have each other then and leave me here alone Now We come from nothing and will soon return We’re not here for long, so it’s best we learn Find in our hearts how to forgive Can’t we all move on and just let me live Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, the sins of the father? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins that the father has done? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, who won’t even bother? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father? The father has sinned so the son, Must bare his cross and some One rotten apple does not spoil the rest Don’t keep the water, keep the baby I’m only trying to believe what’s best, Heaven can help, Heaven can help me Pray to any God who has an open ear (and a heart) Live on the adrenaline without the fear Now We come from nothing and will soon return We’re not here for long, so it’s best we learn Find in our hearts how to forgive Can’t we all move on and just let me live Life’s an incredible teacher It’s all a learning curve Professor I want to meet yah You’ve got one hell of a nerve Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, the sins of the father? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins that the father has done? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father, The sins of the father, who won’t even bother? Should a son be punished for the sins of the father? The father has sinned so the son, Must bare his cross and some

Too Good for Me (Too Good for You)
Lyrics: You’re just too good for me And I’m too good for you If we are meant to be And meant to see it through There may be tougher days ahead Won’t you’ll think back on what I’ve said That you’re too good for me But independently, I’m too good for you Lately, I’ve been on my own On the nights when we are forced to be apart Staying closely to my phone Just the same as how you stay close to my heart My world becomes silence Whenever you’re not near me So if I feel like this today Don’t let me live another way Cus you’re too good for me And I’m too good for you If we are meant to be And meant to see it through There may be tougher days ahead Won’t you’ll think back on what I’ve said That you’re too good for me But independently, I’m too good for you Maybe I’ve been on my own Just waiting for your light to be let in The sunshine that you bring has shown A different life to what it might have been My life stands completely To revolve around you So if you feel the same as me Let’s feel it for eternity Cus you’re too good for me And I’m too good for you If we are meant to be And meant to see it through There may be tougher days ahead Won’t you’ll think back on what I said That you’re too good for me But independently, I’m too good for you Forget what’s been a done And love me for ever after We’re like the moon and sun Up there in the sky Looking at the world from above Now for ever after It’s in my grasp, and I won’t let go Cus loving you is all the love I know Oh I know That you’re too good for me And I’m too good for you If we are meant to be And meant to see it through There may be tougher days ahead Won’t you’ll think back on what I’ve said That you’re too good for me But independently, I’m too good for you

If...
Lyrics: Give me a reason to make you mine A push is all that I need, Just a push a lots of time But make it simple and polite You don't want to scare me off I am prone to give up the fight And even then My mind will start racing all over again What can I do? When I’m scared to be loved by you If I could hold you If I could take us for a ride If I could need you If I could lovingly provide If I could warn you If I could numb what's deep inside If I could hold you, I might Tell me you love me, make no mistake I'm needier than I look, and my heart is yours to break I wanna love you all my life And wake up without a care Knowing the world would be alright And even then My mind will start racing all over again If I could hold you If I could take us for a ride If I could need you If I could lovingly provide If I could warn you If I could numb what's deep inside If I could hold you, I might Weighing up all the options I see it’s worth it to try I don’t want you to pass me by If I could hold you If I could take us for a ride If I could need you If I could lovingly provide If I could warn you If I could numb what's deep inside If I could hold you, I might

Lost with You
Lyrics: It may be funny, it may be sad It may be nearly half as good as what you had It may be sunny, it may be dark and grey But tomorrow is another day Come what may! It might be awful, it might be fun It might be miserable, lamentable and dumb It might be boring, it might be quite okay But tomorrow is another day And to that I say! You take all the bad with the good You take all the lies with the truth You laugh and you cry, and the world passes by And I’m sitting ‘neath a sky that's blue You take all the help you can get You help others too in return You love and you live, and you live and you learn All the while I'm lost with you It should be lovely, it should be nice It should be beautiful, well measured and precise It should be simple, it should be here to stay But tomorrow is another day And to that I say You take all the bad with the good You take all the lies with the truth You laugh and you cry, and the world passes by And I’m sitting ‘neath a sky that's blue You take all the help you can get You help others too in return You love and you live, and you live and you learn All the while I'm lost with you There are lots of choices A million other voices That tell you how to spend your time The recipe for joy is Do as you like Almost anything you do will be fine You take all the help you can get You help others too in return You love and you live, and you live and you learn All the while I'm lost with you

Keep Me Warm in Winter
2025's Christmas Song Lyrics: Keep me warm in Winter Keep me safe and sound I’ll be yours at Christmas And the whole year round Let me be beside you Now and forever more I’ll keep you warm in winter Like no one has before Hold me by the fire And swear you’ll never let me go It’s the one thing that I require Please don’t let my body’s temperature be low But every year I’m faced with a dilemma When the ground outside has turned to white Do I go out and build a snow man? Or stay in my comfies tonight? Right I’ll stay in nice and cosy With the TV on Never mind the cold outside The snow will soon be gone “So why not seize the day, dear?” Your other half will say “Go out and build a snowman You’re never too old to play!” A snowman, becomes snowmen When someone’s there to lend a hand And the snowmen, will turn to nomen As soon as the sun shines on the land All that will be left is an assortment of twigs, A carrot and buttons there to show That for one man, to build a snowman It’s got to be cold enough to snow, so Keep it cold at Christmas Let the snowmen stay Hear those sleigh bells ringing For Santa’s on his way One more day of waiting Then what’s left to do? Just enjoy the moment before the day is through There shouldn’t be snow without the fire Together, the two can both remain So raise your glass a little higher now And welcome the cold and warm the same Keep me warm in Winter With a touch of frost Walk when it is freezing outside Then turn the heating on despite the cost Have the hottest chocolate To keep the cold at bay Have it with your loved ones On this Chirstmas Day!

Christmas Isn't What it Used to Be
2024's Christmas song, written by Jamie Milburn and Libby Marsland. Lyrics: Tis the season for one another Happy just to be of good cheer No longer excited for Santa Or the coming year Cups of wine are all that I wish for That and someone lovely to hold No longer excited for presents Now I'm getting old Don't you worry, I will hurry Back in time for Christmas So save a chair And I'll be there to see you Maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be Cus nothing can forever stay the same No longer children living in a fantasy It's ruined and there's no one we can blame But maybe there's a twinkle just behind the eye A reminder that it all will be okay So maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be But Christmas is with us to stay Oh to stay Chestnuts used to roast by the fire Now they sit alone on the shelves People used to help as required Now they help themselves Wrapping up in warm winter clothing Going out to play in the snow Jack frost used to nip at our noses A long time ago In the cold dear, we'll grow old here Thinking ‘bout our Christmas So take your time You’ll see I'm still with you Maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be Cus nothing can forever stay the same No longer children living in a fantasy It's ruined and there's no one we can blame But maybe there's a twinkle just behind the eye A reminder that it all will be okay So maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be But Christmas is with us to stay It's going nowhere so everyone settle in Drink your wine and drink your beer and have a little gin Cus you’d better believe in something even on a whim There's Jesus Christ and Santa Clause when things are looking grim So even if you're all alone Find a Christmas of your own Grab a chair and I'll be there to see you You know I'll be there to see you Maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be Cus nothing can forever stay the same No longer children living in a fantasy It's ruined and there's no one we can blame But maybe there's a twinkle just behind the eye A reminder that it all will be okay So maybe Christmas isn't what it used to be But Christmas is with us to stay

Henry's Birthday Song
Lyrics: Happy(x4) Birthday to Henry Happy(x4) Birthday to you Happy(x4) Birthday to Henry, and when he gets older he’ll clap and sing along too (doo doo doo doo) You are turning one today, You will laugh and love and play, Nothing is as precious as your smile Even when you learn to talk, Or jump or dance or sing or walk, Your smile will warm our hearts for a while With your family all around you who’ll be there to make you strong I just know the journey’s joyful And I know the journey’s long With love from all directions, Who could have a better start? You’re the boy who’s full of laughter With the biggest little heart Happy(x4) Birthday to Henry Happy(x4) Birthday to you Happy(x4) Birthday to Henry, and when he gets older he’ll clap and sing along too (doo doo doo doo)

Those Who Didn't Arrive
2023's Christmas song, written by Jamie and Paul Milburn. Lyrics: Feeling awful, feeling numb Feeling sadness over someone Oh the emptiness inside Has left me cold To think about the many who won’t grow old What’s the use in Merry Christmas and the sentiment it brings? What’s the point in singing Christmas songs? And who likes carolling? It’s the ones who have a family, it’s the ones who love them so It’s the ones who sing "White Christmas" when there’s seldom any snow It’s beginning to look a lot like just another time of year When you don’t miss any presents and there presence isn’t here I’ve been dreaming of a night when they would magically appear And they tell me not to worry, have no fear Because once a year we all appear To find our way to Christmas day We’re the ones who made it out alive Here’s to those who didn’t arrive Feeling pointless, feeling rough Life disappoints us, life is tough And though the tears they may have dried the pain lives on Laced within the memories of a time before you were gone Oh I wish it could be different but alas it isn’t so So forget the decorations kiss goodbye to mistletoe All I want for each and everyone is peace and love tonight And the strength to rediscover that the world’s still full of light It’s beginning to look a lot like just another time of year When you don’t miss any presents and there presence isn’t here I’ve been dreaming of a night when they would magically appear And they tell me not to worry; have no fear Because once a year we all appear To find our way to Christmas day We’re the ones who made it out alive Here’s to those who didn’t arrive Because once a year we all appear To find our way to Christmas day We’re the ones who made it out alive Here’s to those who didn’t arrive La la la la la x6

He was Loved (My Little Charlie Boy)
The twelfth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: He used to run as fast as anything He used to climb the highest mountain top And although he couldn’t talk I knew he loved a walk You could see it in his eyes From morning till the end of day he’s there Waiting for us sat upon a chair Then shortly after four He’d greet us at the door You could see it in his smile That he was loved Over and over and over again And he did love Over and over and over again He brought into my life such joy My little Charlie Boy And if I had a rope he’d hold on tight I’d swing him in the air with all my might And if he lost his grip Was cut, or bruised, or nipped You could hear it in his voice He used to cuddle up on the settee He always wanted to sit next to me And if the tea I’d make He’d follow in my wake You could hear it in his paws That he was loved Over and over and over again And he did love Over and over and over again He brought into my life such joy My little Charlie Boy He walks with God now anytime he wants He eats in Heaven and drinks from endless fonts He will not be in pain He’ll never cry again And even though the sun has set on him The light he leaves behind will not go dim He was my special friend From the kennel to the end You could see it in his tail You could see it in his smile You could see it his life That he was loved Over and over and over again And he did love Over and over and over again He brought into my life such joy My little Charlie Boy (x3)

Erased
The tenth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: It’s like I’ve been erased From all your days Each and every little picture Depictures a haze I’ve been relegated to a rueing phase Yes it’s like I’ve been erased From all your days It’s like I’ve been replaced With someone else And impersonating person Who’s worse than myself It’s a tragedy to see, that we Cannot see eye to eye or face to face It’s like I’ve been erased Here, All of my life has been a wasted Say what you like, but I’m falling Crumbling to the ground I know People move on so you should let go Nothing will stay the same forever Whatever comes your way You’ll live to see another day You take what you want it’s True dear But I can’t live without you dear It’s the price that I pay When I do what I do just to say It’s like I’ve been erased From all your days Each and every little picture Depictures a haze I’ve been relegated to a rueing phase Yes it’s like I’ve been erased From all your days It’s like I’ve been replaced With someone else And impersonating person Who’s worse than myself It’s a tragedy to see, that we Cannot see eye to eye or face to face It’s like I’ve been erased Why suffer through love and make mistakes I thought about love just for a second I reckoned I might But lately All of my life has been a daydream Crashing and burning to the ground And I found That I’m ill equipped to deal with all the stress You take what you want it’s True dear But I can’t live without you dear It’s the price that I pay When I do what I do just to say (It’s like I’ve been erased From all your days Each and every little picture Depictures a haze I’ve been relegated to a rueing phase Yes it’s like I’ve been erased From all your days It’s like I’ve been replaced With someone else And impersonating person Who’s worse than myself It’s a tragedy to see, that we Cannot see eye to eye or face to face It’s like I’ve been erased) x2

One Day at a Time
The ninth and titular song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Mama cries into her tea Tears that will upset him He who sleeps sat next to me, today I’m caught in the middle Dry your eyes and count to three Clean the mess you’ve made here Lay me down so you can run away I’m caught in the middle I feel bad, I feel down, I feel blue You tell me what I’ve got to do Just take One day at a time One day at a time You’ll never be afraid To take One day at a time One day at a time Then you’ll never be done Drink a beer and watch T.V Try to numb the pain here Drown your joy with misery today I’m caught in the middle Weekends spent alone with him Bruises to explain here You tried your best to live on holiday I’m caught in the middle I feel bad, I feel down, I feel blue You tell me what I’ve got to do Just take One day at a time One day at a time You’ll never be afraid To take One day at a time One day at a time Then you’ll never be done You get up in the morning Then go back to sleep just to Get up again, and again, and again And with every morning you wake up to Is a beautiful future in front of you Forever, and ever Just take One day at a time One day at a time You’ll never be afraid To take One day at a time One day at a time Then you’ll never be done x3

Beef Bourguignon
The eighth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Got out of prison just today You bet I’m hungry Stopped at McDonalds on the way And I sat there numbly as I couldn’t eat a thing So I went to burger king But my craving was for something more gourmet You might be wondering how I ended up in prison It’s quite the story, let me tell you That one day I was minding my own business And on old lady left Something up upon her window sill It sat there so that it could chill You shouldn’t leave your precious things alone I was just walking by Then this dish did catch my eye Tempting me to eat Calling my name After I would never be the same And I thought it’s not so complicated I should have maybe waited to say Hey! Bourguignon! Give me some of that beef bourguignon No need to marinate it all night long Put it in a stew, call it bourguignon I heard you had a recipe That seemingly was meant for me today! Bourguignon! Wrap it up and send some bourguignon my way I was done for trespassing and stealing They gave me thirty days in the pen Who could know my time would be revealing I know more now than I did then I know I like that beef Even if it causes grief And I said as much to the lady who came by This little old dear, I said what the hell you doing here? Rubbing in my face What I couldn’t enjoy For she came there only to destroy any hope of Being satiated I must have been frustrated cus I said Hey! Bourguignon! Give me some of that beef bourguignon No need to marinate it all night long Put it in a stew, call it bourguignon I heard you had a recipe That seemingly was meant for me today! Bourguignon! Wrap it up and send some bourguignon my way Hey! Bourguignon! Give me some of that beef bourguignon No need to marinate it all night long Put it in a stew, call it bourguignon I heard you had a recipe That seemingly was meant for me today! Bourguignon! When You're Gone
The seventh song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Oh I, Was enthralled with your mystical kiss, But if you’re gone, when you’re gone, then you’re gone Oh I, Said that you’d be emphatically missed But when you’re gone, then you’re gone I like sunshine And looking at clouds as they float through the sky I like the view I don’t know why See how I walk through the town I look most like everyone else I smile through the sadness of what I have lost Now you’re no longer around Oh I, Was enthralled with your mystical kiss, But if you’re gone, when you’re gone, then you’re gone Oh I, Said that you’d be emphatically missed But when you’re gone, then you’re gone We had bookings, Now that you’ve left me I’ve cancelled them all I used to dream big, Now I dream small Never again will I love Not after this turmoil I’m in The nights are the worst when I’m sleeping alone You’re lips are what I’m thinking of Oh I, Was enthralled with your mystical kiss, But if you’re gone, when you’re gone, then you’re gone Oh I, Said that you’d be emphatically missed But when you’re gone, then you’re gone

Worth His Weight In Gold
The sixth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Perhaps my parents were misled that I would ever come to something It’s a small miscalculation that some promise leads to nothing It’s the end for me forever for there’s nothing left to say I’ll pack up my things and say goodbye then I’ll be heading on my way And yes I’m fine Thank you for asking Wait? No one was asking? It’s simply a figment of imagination now It’s fine I’m a grown up So nobody showed up It takes more than absence to bring me down But just because you’re eighteen doesn’t mean you’ve mastered how to cope You’ve spent years inside a building with the opposite of hope and now you’re Suddenly expected to have everything together That no matter what life throws at you you’ll fix it cus you’re clever Never mind Fumble and panic You’re life’s a titanic One little bump and you crumble to the ground Why did nobody tell you What kind of hell you’d face on this magical merry-go-round Don’t think that you deserve it Cus baby you’re worth it See through the demons that are prowling in the night Don’t hide on the surface Cus baby you’re worth it Dig a little deeper till you start to feel right I don’t understand you But at least I can stand you Which is more than I can say for other people on the Earth What kind of a person is not very old And worth his weight in gold You! Nobody tells you that this life is made for some Half the world is full of fishes and the other half is chum On one hand there’s despair and on the other hand there’s fun It’s a world where if you’re smart and poor you might as well be dumb Cus then you won’t know how lamentable your situation is You’d figure something’s wrong but then you’d fill your life with love and kids And they inherit all the bad decisions that you ever did And by the time you’re bored with playing dad you can’t get rid of your mistakes Roll with the damage Collect all the baggage See what a mess you can make of this life It’s all just a game to you It’s always the same to you Then it all ends in a blink of an eye Don’t think that you deserve it Cus baby you’re worth it See through the demons that are prowling in the night Don’t hide on the surface Cus baby you’re worth it Dig a little deeper till you start to feel right I don’t understand you But at least I can stand you Which is more than I can say for other people on the Earth What kind of a person is not very old And worth his weight in gold You! Ah you! What kind of a person is not very old What kind of a person can never be told You’re kind of a person a sight to behold And worth his weight in gold

Product of Indoctrination
The fifth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: It’s the product of indoctrination It’s the truth of which we dare not see It’s the lies we tell ourselves and future co-dependencies It’s the ruling of our governed nation It’s the way it's through history It’s the way it’s been and the way it’ll always be Busy busy all day long And we all know that there’s something wrong When you spend your time at work doing things for other people Just to show that you are strong Always living day to day And extra work means extra pay Take it while you’re young, and you’ve no responsibilities And good things will come your way, they say! It’s the product of indoctrination It’s the truth of which we dare not see It’s the lies we tell ourselves and future codependencies It’s the noise of heading up a family It’s the buzz of working night and day It’s the vision of a peaceful country, When the kids have gone away Find someone to call your own Find a house, then make a home Have a couple kids to keep the passion burning Cus who wants to be alone? When you’re working days are done It’s time to have a little fun But because you’re old and tired and mad at the world You can’t enjoy the prize you’ve won So you go to sleep Wake up in the morning Tend to what needs tending but you’re Dreams are out of reach Should have done it sooner Regret is never ending on this Mad little planet we call Earth And why is that? It’s the product of indoctrination It’s the truth of which we dare not see It’s the lies we tell ourselves and future codependencies It’s the fear of what’s around the corner It’s the drain of pure conformity It’s the way that it’s been and the way it’ll always be x2

Look at My Eyes
The fourth song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Falling for you I was mistaken But what else could I do? My heart was taken Now I need to go claim it back It’s been under an attack For much too long You got under my skin (under my skin) I was defenceless after Letting you in (letting you in) And my consensus is that We are made to be apart Only then can I restart and heal Look at my eyes again For you will never see them Any more in any space At any time, at any place Look at my eyes again For it’s the last time they will see you Or you’ll see them at all Beaten and bruised (beaten and bruised) Was my condition to be Beaten and used? (beaten and used) It’s my admission that I Thought it best to hide my scars Behind the bottles and the bars Never the same (ever the same) I’ve learned a lesson And the lesson was pain (lesson was pain) Suffer in silence Or lay my sins before a judge Where truth will stand and lies will budge to nothing Look at my eyes again For you will never see them Any more in any space At any time, at any place Look at my eyes again For it’s the last time they will see you Or you’ll see them at all Look what the future holds for me dear See that you won’t be here Not while I breathe I’m moving onto pastures green Greater than I've ever seen But before you leave Look at my eyes again For you will never see them Any more in any space At any time, at any place Look at my eyes again For it’s the last time they will see you Or you’ll see them at all At all

By Hook Or By Crook
The third song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: Moving out is hard There’s trials and tribulations when your Father is in charge Of leading the way Notice would be nice But time waits for no one so you Bet it will suffice At the end of the day Pack up your life and put it in a box If it doesn’t fit, then you leave it behind You’re never coming back, they’ll change all the locks So if you’re even feeling so inclined You’ll never see This house again Only from the outside Not from within Baby by hook or by crook We’ve got to move it today There’s no debating Just do everything I say There’s not much time to regroup Move this, clean that, take a break We’ll do whatever if whatever is what it’ll take Baby by hook Baby by crook Now you’re out the joint The stress is all over But there is a finer point Of somewhere to go Hotels would be nice If dogs were permitted So you bet it will suffice Staying with a friend you know Move out of here then move to there Then move again and stay in place If there is such a day when you can bear it You pack up and leave without a trace You’ll never see This house again Only from the outside Not from within, when Baby by hook or by crook We’ve got to move it today There’s no debating Just do everything I say There’s not much time to regroup Move this, clean that, take a break We’ll do whatever if whatever is what it’ll take Baby by hook Baby by crook x2 Please I’m down on my knees singing Lord no! Tell me there’s not more to go Though It’s no time to slack We’ve got lots to unpack don’t you slow Put down all your worrying keep hurrying to Whatever it is to keep you occupied and satisfied To love and laugh and live with friends and family who cannot be Replaced with other things We’re in this together No matter what Baby by hook or by crook We’ve got to move it today There’s no debating Just do everything I say There’s not much time to regroup Move this, clean that, take a break We’ll do whatever if whatever is what it’ll take Baby by hook Baby by crook x2 La la la la la

The second song on the album "One Day at a Time" (2023). Lyrics: There’s something about you A something about you There’s something about you You don’t have to worry You don’t have to hurry There’s something about you Seeing faces everywhere If it’s not yours I don’t care I count the seconds And I reckon We don’t have much time to spare Rent a room, Air B n B Take a trip tonight with me See the sights and all the lights Then you just might find yourself free Hold my hand and sing out Live in the moment With no postponement Draw your breath and reach out Swim in the ocean Of my love and devotion Cus There’s something about you A something about you There’s something about you You don’t have to worry You don’t have to hurry There’s something about you I don’t have a lotta money or a lotta skills Let me do the minimum to pay all of the bills Working Monday-Friday ain’t my kinda grind but still You be doing far too much you looking kinda ill You don’t got to play Hand in your notice and say okay (okay) You can have your way Do what you love and you’ll never work another day In your life again That goes for yourself as well If you’re living false then you’re living in hell I can tell, and you must know cus There’s something about you A something about you There’s something about you You don’t have to worry You don’t have to hurry There’s something about you There’s something about you A something about you There’s something about you You don’t have to worry You don’t have to hurry There’s something about you

Someday
The first song on the album "One Day at a time" (2023). Lyrics: Sometimes you want coffee Sometimes you want sleep Life is full of many choices Some shallow and some deep Someday you will decide to Strike out alone Every little piece of art That stems from you will fill A part of your home. And Someday you will deserve to be listened to Someday you will be free of all the lies And all the pain When the work you do is not in vain Sometimes you want sunshine Sometimes you want rain Life is full of hills and valleys and Both are here to stay Somewhere you’ll get to flourish That’s where you belong Leave your worries on the mat Grab and friend and tell them that they’ll be Someday where they’ll deserve to be listened to Someday where they’ll be free of all the lies And all the pain When the work they do for them is never in vain Try though as you might Life is never quite as you think Strive to be the best End up like the rest Of the world Living with contentment instead of resentment That maybe there’s Someday where you’ll deserve to be listened to Someday where you’ll be free of all the lies And all the pain When the work you do for them is never in vain Don’t you feel the same? When the work that you do is in vain Somebody’s to blame When the work that you do is in vain What is there to gain? When the work that you do is in vain

Mary
A few Christmas' back (2020) the world went through a universally bad time. Hey! Mister Santa was a response to that. This year, I decided to write about the birth of Jesus, and in general, the birth of sons. I wrote and began recording this song on 22nd November, and in a very short amount of time I lost both my Dog and my Grandma. This song is not a response, but a capsule in time. I may have finished it after these events, but the main bulk of the work was done before. This, to the best of my knowledge, is the last song I wrote while having the comfort of them both being around. In fact, the next load of songs that I've already written won't have the perspective I have now. Naturally, songs take time to record, so by the time I get around to it, it's usually been some time since it was written. I will make an effort to note the next song that I write without them. Lyrics: Mmmm M, mmm Mary Put the baby down to sleep Everybody wants to see the saviour And his little tiny feet Mmmm M, mmm Mary Please Give it up for him today Mmmm M, mmm Mary Mothers always want to see their child succeed You’ve got to give the boy whatever he will need There’s lots to do And I believe in you Don’t throw this golden chance away Sons will become whatever they will be And you know you’ve got a big responsibility To let them try Spread their wings and fly Boys turn to men they don’t stay Cradled in your arms all day Asleep all night Time runs away alright You have little say Try as you might Nothing will prepare you for the day So cherish every smile along the way CHORUS Even though you’re tired these are the days that you will miss Cus you know deep down they won’t stay children after this They have to grow And time will show You had it all along the way Chicken pox, the flu and scrapes all on their hands and knees You were there through every single bump and every sneeze The games they won The work they’ve done Time’s changed a lot since they would stay Cradled in your arms all day Asleep all night Time runs away alright You have little say Try as you might Nothing will prepare you for the day So cherish every smile along the way CHORUS I’ve been living fast asleep Hold on tight to your baby Hold on tight to your baby I’ll tell you that He is always yours to keep Hold on tight to your baby Hold on tight to your baby I’ll tell you that

Words I Should Have Said
The twelfth and final track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: The 3rd of September’s when you came into my life Right on cue you came, smiling and crying And I held you in my arms. Right after your mother… And the doctor, and the nurses, you were mine to hold And from that day I imagined I would hold you close, now and forever I took you to the park for a walk with our dog called Jesse She chased the balls you threw But she was already old by the time you were old enough to know - That she’s in decline And the day she gave up chasing I saw part of you just die - and it broke my heart I knew what was wrong I tried to comfort you You went to school just like any other kid, Went to class on time and minded your teachers Yes he talks too much we know We get enough of his talking while at home And we’ve tried to deal with that Tried to help him understand that HIS voice is not the only voice that People want to hear or want to know So the frequency of his talks began to slow I guess we dealt with that I tried to silence you Not knowing what you’d do Without you near me I fall into the unknown With no direction I’m lost and so alone You used to guide me, Help me through the days I had ahead “I love you more than anything” are Words I should have said You were young and free and only seventeen, Many years to find your feet and find your purpose You looked at me and asked, “Is this as good as it’s gonna get dad?” And I said, “You’re in the best years of your life kid, it’s only down from here.” And in his eyes I saw a numbing fear, How I should have known Maybe if I had listened once when he was always asking questions Maybe if I’d been there for him If I had my time again I’d tell him men like me are fragile too We’re all just figuring out what we’re here to do That’s all that can be done I was having dinner with your mother when we got that text from you that Night, I barely made it through the first few words when you tried to say goodbye My hands were shaking as I went up the stairs to your bedroom door The door was locked at you wouldn’t respond, why’d you put me through that for You couldn’t know and wouldn’t see how things will always get better That’s the thing I should have let you know That life’s great highs can come from life’s great lows Without you near me I fall into the unknown With no direction I’m lost and so alone You used to guide me, Help me through the days I had ahead “I love you more than anything Like a pillow loves a bed I love you more than anything Like a needle loves a thread, I love you son Son…” Without you near me I fall into the unknown With no direction I’m lost and so alone You used to guide me, Help me through the days I had ahead “I love you more than anything Like a pillow loves a bed I love you more than anything Like a needle loves a thread, I love you more than anything” are Words I should have said

Time With You
The eleventh track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: If you need me now to stay, I will do that right away Or if you want me to go, Say the word, I’ll make it so What you wish, I will obey, And if you wish for me today I will heed with haste to you, Hopefully your wish comes true Cus I will spend my time with you That’s what I have time to do I lose my track of time, when there’s time with you Seeing the smile that you Do whenever I, Do that thing I do, When you are soon to cry Makes me want to see it through I can sit at home forever As long as we can sit together You and I And If you need me now to stay, I will do that right away Or if you want me to go, Say the word, I’ll make it so If you find you need a break Take the time you need to take I'll be ready rain or shine Just so long as you stay mine Cus I will spend my time with you That’s what I have time to do I lose my track of time, when there’s time with you We laugh, we eat We go to sleep We wake at noon Enjoy the view And then bake Or order food You need some space I give that too Sometimes you feel happy Other times you're not Have you always felt this way or Maybe you've forgotten how to Want things, needs things Love the summer sky as it touches your face Feel the sun is warm and that life is not a waste Want things, need things And until you do I will spend my time with you That’s what I have time to do It gives me peace of mind Knowing every second I’m Spending time with you

To Be
The eighth and title track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: To be young, to be free, To be what it is you want to be is All very well and so naive To have fun, to have hair, To be reckless here and everywhere Is all very well if you achieve What you want to be I was young for a time But my love for squash and crackers turned to cheese and wine There’s no use reminiscing on a time long gone Nothing last forever and the night goes on I was caught in my prime They say your twenties are the best you’ll ever feel in your life Then why the hell do I feel like a waste of skin? I’m not so thrilled of where I’m going or where I have been I slowly age, Well nothing lasts forever and the time will run away One day I’ll say To be young, to be free, To be what it is you want to be is All very well and so naive To have fun, to have hair, To be reckless here and everywhere Is all very well if you achieve What you want to be Look at me, 23 And I’m not even a fraction of where I should be I’m starting to believe that living is a con, But nothing lasts forever and the night goes on Should my name be in lights? With my work being devoured at the highest heights That is when I’ll think to when I wrote this song And I hope I can remember how to sing along I slowly fade, Well nothing lasts forever and the body will decay And then I’ll say To be young, to be free, To be what it is you want to be is All very well and so naive To have fun, to have hair, To be reckless here and everywhere Is all very well if you achieve What you want to be And where you want to go And who you want to live with And what you want to know And how you spend your time And when you open up You’ll have wished you’d done it sooner Everything would have been fine Instead regretting, Longing for youth can be upsetting Still you remember what it’s like To be young, to be free, To be what it is you want to be is All very well and so naive To have fun, to have hair, To be reckless here and everywhere Is all very well if you achieve (You'll be!) What you want to be

Dance With Two Left Feet
The seventh track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: Well I dance with two left feet you know And I can’t move fast and I can’t move slow That’s fine Alright Yeah the way I move ain’t typical You could teach me how to dance and to let it go all night All night Baby I’ve been thinking lately What’s the point in living on this Earth if you’re living alone Stuck inside a house if you can’t call it home Maybe I’m just being lazy What’s the use in stepping out of this to move on to that No one’s trinna welcome with a welcome mat I know, I've been ever sure Never really waiting But anticipating You my love Knocking at my door, Even though it’s true That I dance with two left feet you know And I can’t move fast and I can’t move slow That’s fine Alright With a nose just like pinocchio And a body like a ball of a bakers dough You like? Alright Monday, we go out and One day, I will put a ring upon your finger If you love me so, Never ever ever will I let you go and After, lots of love and Laughter, we'll be settled Living in a cottage with a kid or two Loving how we're living just like lovers do It's sweet, Seeing you complete me Knowing you each day, Makes me permanently stay Within your arms Laughing all the way Even though it’s true That I dance with two left feet you know And I can’t move fast and I can’t move slow That’s fine Alright Now I may be far f rom Fred Astaire And I haven’t got money like a millionaire But I’d rather be here than anywhere tonight Count the things in life you have and see Everything is as it ought to be Nothing has gone out of place Don’t let life become a race You are fine and that’s a guarantee Even though it’s true That I dance with two left feet you know And I can’t move fast and I can’t move slow That’s fine Alright Yeah the way I move ain’t typical You could teach me how to dance and to let it go all night All night With a nose just like pinocchio And a body like a ball of a bakers dough You like? Alright

Nowhere
The sixth track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere Look at how I started Look at where I’m going to It is all uncharted; What I’ve done and am to do But when it’s unfinished Don’t be starting something new There’s still music in it So sing another song or two And while I gather my thoughts all neatly I stick around, enjoy the view Though the view is welcomed sweetly I feel that I’ve been going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere Now I look around me I can see there’s others too And I don’t feel lonely I suppose that’s sometimes true And there’s always something Plenty left for me to do But if you haven’t one thing Learn a thing you never knew And as you become invested You’ll be growing more each day If you do what I’ve suggested When you Feel you’re going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere And so you go along Writing your songs and your shows While everybody knows that you’re going nowhere And even if the present is unpleasant There’s no reason to resent it Cuts another day is through And we got some work to do Cuts we’ve been going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere We’ve been going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere We keep singing this song La la la la la la lay Singing till the early morn La la la la la la lay I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere I’ve been going nowhere, Nowhere, nowhere

Freedom
The fifth track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: My mind is broken and I’m losing to you Tell me exactly what I am to do Give me no reason to escape the bind I find that I am in We cannot change what’s deep within They’re asking m e to say what the future holds for me And all I want to say for certain is that I’ll be living free Well nothing ventured, nothing gained Nothing spent so nothing drained within me The world and all it’s knowledge has been at my fingertips And so the same is true for you except I hope you came to grips With all the friends you have to spare And conversations in the air (How about it?) My mind is broken and I’m losing to you Tell me exactly what I am to do Give me no reason to escape the bind I find that I am in We cannot change what’s deep within It’s “Hello, how you doing? Wait, I must reply to this.” With your head into your lap it’s hard to see what you will miss The hand will wave with “I am fine, I can give up anytime!” (Hmm, hmm yeah) Insert a passing comment from an article you’ve read I don’t have any inclination if you know what you have said A lot of words but not your own Your mind has shrunk, your voice has grown (How about it?) My mind is broken and I’m losing to you Tell me exactly what I am to do Give me no reason to escape the bind I find that I am in We cannot change what’s deep within I will be here inside forever alone I will be here; promise, I swear Maybe today’s the day I venture to say I’m not okay My mind is broken and I’m losing to you Tell me exactly what I am to do Give me no reason to escape the bind I find that I am in We cannot change what’s deep within

Sunday Afternoon (Look Away)
The third track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: I’ve been sitting in a sitting room Not allowed to leave or welcome you Not that I ever would want to I’ve been waiting in a waiting room Staring at a clock upon the wall Counting the hours till my sleep will fall How can I be stressed? I have nothing I confess But wouldn’t you prefer to have more than less I’ve been sitting in a sitting room Playing games and watching endless shows The time I’ve wasted no one really knows I’ve been quiet in a quiet room Am I void of purpose when no one hears? Am I needed when my presence disappears? How can I be sane? When a room becomes a drain On a Sunday afternoon Look at me I'm a fancy man With a fancy golden hue I have no flaws and know Exactly what to do Look at me going slightly mad Going different shades of blue When you see me on a Sunday afternoon Look away No more sitting in the sitting room It’s time to stand or even run It doesn’t matter if I’m the only one No more lying in a lying room What you speak here you will become And the lies will come undone How can I be sick? When I have many paths to pick? But only few are good Look at me I'm a fancy man With a fancy golden hue I have no flaws and know Exactly what to do Look at me going slightly mad Going different shades of blue When you see me on a Sunday afternoon Look away And for today I seem with a smile And all the while I am numb inside I may seem eccentric I would rather live my life authentically And be very happy Happy happy happy happy Happy happy happy happy me Is that what I want Is it what I want? Look at me I'm a fancy man With a fancy golden hue I have no flaws and know Exactly what to do Look at me going slightly mad Going different shades of blue When you see me on a Sunday afternoon I'll be singing something sort of in a tune There's only one productive thing to do, that's Look away

Tomiwa
The fourth track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: Oh… Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do He doesn’t listen to me, but he might listen to you You see he’s never been loved by any man that I knew He shouldn’t look up to them He should be looking to you His father was a drunken Hooligan So much for being a man He tried to pick Tommy up from school again It did not go to his plan Tomiwa Drank Cus Tomiwa’s cool His father’s to thank For him playing the fool When he sobered up I told him well That if he should continue down this road he might end up in hell I’m singing Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do He doesn’t listen to me, but he might listen to you You see he’s never been loved by any man that I knew He shouldn’t look up to them He should be looking to you After about a week or two with him I see a change in his eyes He really knows that you want something to do with him I see the boy is surprised He can be awful He can be cruel He can be thoughtful But that ain’t the rule If he keeps it up then won’t you stay? Cus if you run out of my house The devil’s bound to take my son away I’m screaming Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do He doesn’t listen to me, but he might listen to you You see he’s never been loved by any man that I knew He shouldn’t look up to them He should be looking to you Please be my baby now Won’t you return I need you to save me now He’s got some lessons that he needs to learn Please be my baby now We depend on you I need you to save me now You know that Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do I’m begging Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do He doesn’t listen to me, but he might listen to you You see he’s never been loved by any man that I knew He shouldn’t look up to them He should be looking to you I pleading Tomiwa does what Tomiwa do He doesn’t listen to me, but he might listen to you You see he’s never been loved by any man that I knew He shouldn’t look up to them He should be looking to you Oh...

It'll Work Out Alright
The second track on the album "To Be", featuring Archie Batty on the Trumpet and Alto Saxophone. Lyrics: I’ve a life that’s full of woes But that’s the way that living goes You start off with a promise to be great But you’ll end up second-rate No one man can do it all You can’t heed every single call There’s some things that you never will become It’s the same for everyone Well, you know you can recover from whatever’s thrown at you And who knows, you might discover something marvellous and new Take a deep breath in (Breathe in slow, breathe in slow) Let your life begin (Live and grow, live and grow) If you have no rhyme or reason in the years you have ahead You will find that every season will be filled with endless dread Maybe I could try a concrete goal instead First you find your aim (What comes now, what comes now?) Then you play the game (Yes but how, yes but how?) Start with living life in a fulfilling way Cut the other voices out Don’t be filled with people’s doubt Live however you intend to live And you give what you can give You don’t need to be the best Life is not a sport or test Trying is all anyone can do If you’re good then good for you I have every inclination that my passion will fulfill Yet within my own creation I see nothing close to skill With progress comes the thrill I’ve been told that it’ll work out alright now I don’t think it matters how you do Look how far you come and how far you’ll keep going Without ever knowing what it is that you pursue

Happy, Happy Me
The first track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: As the sun sets, the moon rises (Ooooo) When you’re here I turn away (Ooooo) I keep on telling myself that tomorrow Will be better than today Once I find my way There’s so much I could be doing (Ooooo) But so few hours in the day (Ooooo) I keep on telling myself that when I come home from Work I’ll write a song But then life comes along And I don’t want you to go, But I don’t want you to stay I like being alone now Come back some other day And I just want you to know That I’m doing okay I just want to be happy Happy happy me (mehy) I have lost all my direction And I’m losing you as well On the horizon, there’s a future that I’m longing to behold Before I get too old If I’m writing, then I’m living It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do But sometimes things distract and Then I have to push them things away For another day But I don’t want you to go, And I don’t want you to stay I like being alone now Come back some other day And I just need you to know That I’m doing okay I just want to be happy Happy, happy me I’ve been thinking ‘bout your love And I’m hoping that one day I’ll feel that way I know rejection can be rough But I wanna be happy Just let me be happy But I don’t want you to go, And I don’t want you to stay I like being alone now Come back some other day And I just need you to know That I’m doing okay I just want to be happy Happy, happy me [I will be here inside forever alone I will be here; promise, I swear Maybe today’s the day I venture to say I’m not okay]

Multi Million Dollar Car
The tenth track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: You’ve been alone Trapped in yourself Waiting for something to begin When you get knocked back you take it on the chin And all I do is dream But dreaming does no good Will I understand what’s understood? Masquerading through my early adulthood And you Want me to know the truth But how do you know what you see is really true? Plodding along Finding my way Won’t be too long, till I’m Living the day I want to live Giving what I can is all that I can give And though I find you well Healthy and secure Handsome and a little bit bizarre Driving in your multi million dollar car You Find it hard to get by Living's only worth it if you have to try When you get your money from mummy and dad You don't really own the things you have or had There's sorting you out and there's lending a hand One will lend you twenty quid The other gives a grand, and When the day is said and done Life is made for love and fun So why not keep on taking? Despite the misery you're making And if they offer more Don't refuse let the income pour Spending gives you something to live for And you'll never know the climb When you're at the top there's only one place that you'll go in time You've been alone Just like before If you are going don't go far Driving in your multi million dollar car

I Like Being Alone
The ninth track on the album "To Be". Lyrics: I like being a- I like being a- I like being alone From Namibia To Bolivia I like being alone From the horse Hear his hooves click out Some morse Telling you to go Away to find Anything but him You know he’s kind But he wants space, he says I like being a- I like being a- I like being alone From Namibia To Bolivia I like being alone See the kid Cry himself to sleep He did Want some time to breathe Between all the hugs And the staring too Just leave him snug To gah and goo, which says I like being a- I like being a- I like being alone From Namibia To Bolivia I like being alone You may never understand that some People need a hand and there are Simply some that Do no want you to remind them that their Best years are behind them or are Simply far away It’s never here today Unless you’re saying that When you’re on your own you got no one to answer to No one to tell you what to do, you can Eat the food that you wanna eat, Complete the things that you wanna complete No one’s gonna be there to nag and moan No one’s gonna be there to be a drone No one’s gonna need attention or to mention that you’re not alone Ev’ry single person in my life I’ve ever met has had a reason to be living in this world but they forget because they’re Chasing what their parents and their friends say they should get and then Before they’ve even blinked their on a path that’s ready set Saying that, there’s a reason people do it Maybe there’s something to it When no one’s there to get on your case, There’s no one there in the first place, I hope that I like being a- I like being a- I like being alone From Namibia To Bolivia I like being alone I like being a- I like being a- I like being alone From Namibia To Bolivia I like being alone

Another year, another Christmas song. Lyrics: If I ever was a fool to upset you If I acted how a brute might be I can only move along by putting Right where there was wrong, And through song I sing to thee May your Christmas’ be happy And your holidays be glad May your memories come sweetly And rejoice in what you’ve had Let your dearest ones be near you as the years go on May you flourish from every day to another And with every single day I hope happiness comes your way And the way that you feel tonight’s gonna stay May your Christmas’ be happy And your holidays be glad May your memories come sweetly And rejoice in what you’ve had Let your dearest ones be near you as the years go on May you flourish from every day to another And with every single day I hope happiness comes your way And the way that you feel tonight’s gonna stay And the way that you feel tonight’s gonna stay

Hey! Mister Santa!
Another Christmas Song... On time for a change. Archie Batty plays his trumpet for this one. Lyrics: Hey Mister Santa Please go riding on your sleigh It’s been tough this year for everyone, come Brighten up our day Hey Mister Santa Do the things you can to put a Smile on each and every face Across the whole human race I was sat here drinking through the whole Christmas eve, and then Hey! Ho! There you were below Thought you’d save the day, but you turned around to leave I said Hey! Ho! It’s not time to go. The people have been waiting for a miracle to come We’re not asking for a saviour just a little bit of fun Won’t you stay because I’m lonely can’t you see My christmas has hidden from me Santa stayed for dinner and we talked through the night singing Hey! Ho! One more drink to go He told me he was struggling to get Christmas right, I said Hey! Ho! Don’t you ever let go Apparently there’s no one in the world that wants to dance He’s been out there playing music up from Canada to France I heard the streets are cold and empty, dark and dim Cus Christmas has hidden from him Hey Mister Santa Please go riding on your sleigh It’s been tough this year for everyone, come Brighten up our day Hey Mister Santa Do the things you can to put a Smile on each and every face Across the whole human race So he left to visit every girl and every boy singing Hey! Ho! I’ve got gifts in tow People were elated with their hearts full of joy singing Hey! Ho! We love Santa so We haven’t had the best of times of late, and want to say That the man in red has saved our sacred Winter holiday He brings more than just the presents on his sleigh He brings with him Christmas today Hey Mister Santa Please go riding on your sleigh It’s been tough this year for everyone, come Brighten up our day Hey Mister Santa Won’t you be the man to put a Smile on each and every face Across the whole human race

The Sky Does Fall
Lyrics: I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir! Show! That even if the sky does fall on me There’s always somewhere to go Even if it’s slow They say I’ll fall in love (Fall in love) Find someone to join me up above They say I’ll start having kids (Not very likely) Join the line in doing what my daddy and his daddy did Is it good? (Well it’s normal so it’s good) Doing just as everyone else, not asking if you should I’m alright (Are you really?) Toying with the darkness can lighten the light I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir! Show! That even if the sky does fall on me There’s always somewhere to go Even if it’s slow They say that justice is clear Well clearly not for everybody living here There’s only so much to do When someone is opposed to your race and, by extension, you It’s unfair You’ll hear about the problem but you won’t even care Until somebody dies But then within a week you go back to your lives I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir! Show! That even if the sky does fall on me There’s always somewhere to go Even if it’s slow I’ve talked about the problems I’ve been having inside I’ve talked of how predictable and silly the ride I welcome you to search me I’ve got nothing to hide I’m fine I’ve talked about a problem that means something to me I’ve talked of how convincing you show empathy I’ve said all I can say and you’ve seen all you can see I’m fine yeah I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir! Show! That even if the sky does fall on me There’s always somewhere to go Even if it’s slow I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir! Show! That even if the sky does fall on me There’s always somewhere to go Even if it’s slow La la la la etc... Fine I really want you to know That even if the sky does fall on me I’ll never want to let go Give me just a hint of an answer Tell me the plan sir...

Help My Heart to Mend
With an Alto Saxophone solo by Archie Batty. Lyrics: Sing me a song and I’ll listen Paint me a picture I’ll watch it all day Don’t take what I have been missing away Love me like no one has ever Kiss me at night till the pain goes away I hope what we have will never decay Hold me like only you know Squeeze me and never let go I am yours till the very end Don’t stop abruptly Forge and corrupt me Help my heart to mend Be my beginning and ending Alpha Omega you never will change Loving you is now extending my emotional range I don’t remember before you All of those colours are driven to grey All of my being lives for you today So Hold me like only you know Squeeze me and never let go I am yours till the very end Don’t stop abruptly Forge and corrupt me Help my heart to mend As the days turn to years all my Worries and fears are withdrawn I will love you forever our Lives may together go on and on La la la la la la la la la la etc... (Instrumental for dancing) So Hold me like only you know Squeeze me and never let go I am yours till the end Don’t stop abruptly Forge and corrupt me Never to part Right from the start You helped my heart to mend

Basilisks! Beware!
Lyrics: I knew a girl who was happy until she was not, She got an obsession, They called it depression, I can’t wait to see her again in her prime The club isn’t for everyone; put your hands in the air If you care for some dancing, A spot of romancing, A fight for your life; have a wonderful time It’s all okay, it’s all alright Put your head into my chest and let me hold you through the night Here comes the day, both new and bright It’s the basilisks, beware They can bite with just a sight I knew a fella who turned out to be something else More Elsie than Ethan, More Chelsea than Steven She wanted to know that I’d stay by her side So I was just walking with Elsie who happened to be, A little subdued, And a tiny bit rude But I understood that a part of her died It’s all okay, it’s all alright Put your head into my chest and let me hold you through the night Here comes the day, both new and bright It’s the basilisks, beware They can bite with just a sight People can witness, it’s none of their business Think nothing of them, it helps fix the problem Snakes are not easy to kill but they will go away If you don’t let them stay I knew a person who you would consider a freak He has no relations or blind expectations Two roads diverged and he took number three Here on a plain of existence so rarely explored When one is an only you might become lonely Yet from time to time you can visit and see (It’s all okay, it’s all alright Put your head into my chest and let me hold you through the night Here comes the day, both new a bright No more serpents in the dark Just a colour laden light ) x3 It’s all okay

Money for this Evening (Playing for Free)
Lyrics: (Background):Got money for this evening Got money for tomorrow Got money from your grieving Got money from your sorrow (CHORUS)Too much to worry about Too much for me I will not worry about Playing for free If someone can listen and learn That someone is me So I will not worry about Playing for free I’ve been standing at the corner Way too nervous to go through If I had a drink or ten Maybe I would change my point of view I’ve been stupid in this reason It may show in my review This was meant to be my break I really hope everyone gets two CHORUS I’ve been blinded by believing We all should be made the same If there’s no diversity I really don’t want to play this game I’ve been lucky to have schooling Now the limit is the sky Some people prefer the ground I never think to ask them why CHORUS X2

I've Got the Music
Lyrics: I didn’t play piano and I didn’t play guitar Didn’t think this music thing would get me very far Don’t be tired of living when you’re living on your own Music’s my companion so I’ll never be alone I’ve got the music in my heart I’ve got the music fingertips I’ve got the music in my heart and in my soul and on my lips I’ve got the music in my heart, I’ve got the music There ain’t no other counterpart, I’ve got the music I’ve got the music And so I’ve never needed anything apart from you Music is the only thing I’ll ever want to do It’s why I wake each morning and what keeps me going strong Music’s my companion and you bet we get along I’ve got the music in my heart I’ve got the music fingertips I’ve got the music in my heart and in my soul and on my lips I’ve got the music in my heart, I’ve got the music There ain’t no other counterpart, I’ve got the music I’ve got the music There may be days where all you do is sleep in bed And wonder what you’re doing wrong Take a breath and count to ten Get outside and start again Sing a simple something like a song I’ve got the music in my heart I’ve got the music fingertips I’ve got the music in my heart and in my soul and on my lips I’ve got the music in my heart, I’ve got the music There ain’t no other counterpart, I’ve got the music I’ve got the music

What is the Point of the Youth?
Lyrics: So, did you think that it would be fun? Did you think you would overcome, What very few do? Did you think you were special? Well know that you’re not Everyone’s one in a million So that’s not a lot I’m too young to matter and too old to cry Too young for honesty and too old to lie Too much to do, not enough time Ain’t that the truth? What is the point of the youth? Time keeps on slipping with every week I feel nothing becomes complete Or turns out all wrong They think they know better Maybe they’re right? Maybe you know some things too Would they listen to you? They might But so far I’ve come up short This is my final resort I’ve tried to have a conversation Tried to say what I feel inside But I’m too young to matter and too old to cry Too young for honesty and too old to lie Too much to do, not enough time Ain’t that the truth x2 I’m too young to matter and too old to cry Too young for honesty and too old to lie Too much to do, not enough time Ain’t that the truth What is the point of the youth?

Seasonal Feelings
Seasonal Feelings; poetry by T.D. Wilson-Renwick, music by Jamie Kimathi Milburn Lyrics: When golden sun has gone away, And been replaced with ice-cold day, That’s when my heart shall fade to grey, Still waiting for it's chance to play. The ice will once again melt, though, And into life’s birth we will flow, There is no way for us to know, Which life will die and which will grow. That which grows becomes so great, That it can breach and permeate, An age-old isolated state, And force the rain to sit and wait. But rain will once again return, And we can mope or we can learn, So one day we may cease to yearn, For the cold which can also, somehow, burn.

I'm Never Giving Up
Lyrics: When the music’s flowing through you And the party lights are low You don’t need a plan of action Breath it in and take it slow It’s your time for relaxation There’s no cause to be alone Let go of your concentration; let it flow So it’s been a week of headaches And you hate what you’ve become Then you wake up in the morning And you’re tryna have some fun To try and keep that mind from racing Drown your sorrows with a smile Find the things that make life worth all the while You Find a find a way out You find a way out Onwards and upwards is the place to be I can say quite honestly I’M NEVER GIVING UP I’M NEVER GIVING IN ALL LIFE EVER DOES IS TAKE IT’S MY RIGHT TO MAKE MISTAKES I DESERVE TO HAVE A WIN I’M NEVER WAKING UP FOR I WILL NEVER GO TO SLEEP WITH THE MANY PATHS TO TAKE I LEAVE HEARTBREAK IN MY WAKE I AM NEVER GIVING UP You’ve got a pillow with your name on And you’re never really cold There’s a fullness in your stomach And you’re healthy so I’m told It’s a pleasant situation Ride the tide while the wave is high Don’t repress the stimulation let it fly Dogs are howling at the moonlight And the Earth is gonna die It’s a plastic generation With a picture perfect smile There’s a focus on the moment When the moment goes away Don’t be living for tomorrow When tomorrow is today So you find a find a way out You find a way out Onwards and upwards is the place to be I can say quite honestly I’M NEVER GIVING UP I’M NEVER GIVING IN ALL LIFE EVER DOES IS TAKE IT’S MY RIGHT TO MAKE MISTAKES I DESERVE TO HAVE A WIN I’M NEVER WAKING UP FOR I WILL NEVER GO TO SLEEP WITH THE MANY PATHS TO TAKE I LEAVE HEARTBREAK IN MY WAKE I AM NEVER GIVING UP I’M NEVER GIVING UP I’M NEVER GIVING IN ALL LIFE EVER DOES IS TAKE IT’S MY RIGHT TO MAKE MISTAKES I DESERVE TO HAVE A WIN I’M NEVER WAKING UP FOR I WILL NEVER GO TO SLEEP WITH THE MANY PATHS TO TAKE I LEAVE HEARTBREAK IN MY WAKE I AM NEVER GIVING UP I’M NEVER GIVING UP
