#13 Should Christians Make New Year Resolutions?
Benji and Amy are back to Kick of the New Year, and New Season of Jesus Talks. As we have turned the page of the new year, many contemplate what went well and what didn't and it is a popular idea to make resolutions going into the new year. Things like losing weight, working less or more, eating healthier, saving money and many other things. As Christians some wander should we make resolutions. Benji and Amy explore the concepts of making resolutions and include some scripture that helps us to evaluate biblical guidance when working toward making improvements. Improvements are not a bad thing but what we need to remember is Jesus never asked up to make improvements; he asked us to surrender fully. That is where it needs to start.

#11- Why is Loving People So Hard Sometimes
Benji and Amy dive into the barriers that often stand in the way of loving others, the way we have been called to love. Cultural polarization, that seems to promote a division, ego and personal securities, lostness and the lack of knowing true love in Jesus Christ. Scriptures tell us and the life of Jesus demonstrates for us that God is Love. We are not just asked to love God does not just make it a suggestion, it is a command. We have to find ways to work through the human nature challenges that we face so that we can love the way we have been called. This is how people come to know Jesus, and Christians are able to advance in their daily walk when they can see the love of Christ manifest through his disciples.

#10-Why would God want a Relationship with Someone Like Me?
Benji and Amy discuss a question that seems to be common among us in that Why would God want a Relationship with someone like me? Why would the creator of the universe and all things be interested in my life and knowing me. They explore that we are created for relationship. Because the God of the universe who created us loved us so much that the purpose of our existence is to know and love God and walk in relationship with him. Often times our life struggles, examples we have had, situations and circumstances we encounter hinder our ability to realize that a Great God would be interested in us. The more we dig into spiritual disciplines of prayers, bible study and fellowship with likeminded believers the more his love and desire to know us intimately is realized.

#7-What is the Difference between Religion and Relationship
Pastor Benji discusses the difference between practicing Religion and having an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Many traditions can be beautiful representations of faith, but the holding of these things above authentic relationship and connection is not the right way to follow Jesus. Religion is about a broken people making an attempt to reach up to a Holy God. Relationship is about a Holy God reaching down to a broken people and and our response to walk alongside him and let him lead and guide as we become more like Jesus.

#4-I’ve been hurt by the Church why should I go?
In this episode, Pastor Benji takes on one of the most honest and painful questions many believers wrestle with — “I’ve been hurt by the church, so why should I go back?”Benji breaks down the truth that our hurt often comes from people, not from God. Just as the enemy can use people to wound us, God can use people to heal and restore us. Isolation may feel safe, but it slowly starves our spirit. We need community — not because the church is perfect, but because we’re stronger when we walk together in grace.God can take the pain you’ve walked through and turn it into a testimony that helps others find hope and healing in Jesus. Remember:Bitterness builds walls, but grace builds bridges.

#3- Do I have to go to church to be a Christian?
In this episode Pastor Benji goes in to the question of Church attendance and its tie in to Salvation. And how the short answer is church attendance is not essential to salvation. However, there is biblical evidence to point to the face that it is essential to fully become everything God has created and designed you to be. If we want to impact God’s Kingdom with our walk we do so by being a member of the local body. Ultimately those who have experienced heart transformation want to be with their fellow believers for the encouragement, accountability, and fellowship.

How Satan will attempt to use our loneliness to keep us isolated and also how that loneliness can help us lean in to God and grow our faith and relationship when we manage it well..
