A key question seems to be - can the transcendent experiences stimulated by psychedelics help us safely into better states of mental & emotional health? In this episode we jump into our largest group discussion on the podcast so far & discuss all things mens mental health. Joining us are Dominic Watts (Mindful Wellbeing & Sport Performance Coach), Dr Matthew McCourt (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Mohamed Salah (Psychiatrist). We explore their thoughts on the pressures men deal with, the conditioning that many men have had and what, from their experiences working with men, & as men, commonly affect men's mental health. We discuss how Yoga can be a gateway to understanding the self and the ego.     To launch Just Between Us, what better intimate conversation to get into than one about our home – the body. Disconnection from our bodies is too common for us living in a world where emphasis is mostly on the body as an ornament, something to be ‘worked on’, even perfected. In this episode we talk with Ahdab Badr, bodywork practitioner, who uses a unique combination of wisdom-tradition based approaches to help clients powerfully reconnect to the body & heal the relationship between mind, body & spirit. Some of the tools she uses include different massage disciplines like chi nei tsang, traditional Thai yoga, reflexology & aromatherapy, yoga, mentastics, breathwork & somatics.
