    Nick Mair - 3 words empowering men to talk about mental health

    What a guy Nick Mair is! After experiencing his own struggles with anxiety and depression, including a call to Lifeline at his lowest point, Nick Mair decided to leave the corporate world behind and transition into a career focused on mental health advocacy. Now a dedicated advocate for mental health, Nick's built a new career coaching, training in Mental Health First Aid, and facilitating sessions around psychosocial hazards in workplaces. Nick is also the founder of ‘The Mental Health Pack’ and hosts ‘The Man O'Clock Show’ podcast where he uses humour and empathy to connect with men about some really important issues. It was amazing to sit down with Nick to chat about his journey, his own recovery, and how he's using what he's learned along the way to support men opening up about their mental health.     Michelle J Raymond - Backing yourself and making an impact

    After a disappointing encounter with an old boss, Michelle J Raymond decided in early 2020 to quit her corporate sales job on the spot! She stepped bravely into the unknown determined to do whatever came next on her own terms. Navigating the global pandemic which followed shortly after wasn't easy, but Michelle fell on her feet, pursued her passion for LinkedIn and founded her business, B2B Growth Co, which sees her help her clients achieve real results through LinkedIn.     Ian Gillespie AM has worked for 30 years across industries in Australia and internationally at CEO and senior executive level.     Nan Bray - Finding success on 'sheep time' and other big life lessons

    Nan Bray has had quite the journey. The former physical oceanographer from Idaho in the US, fell in love with Tasmania, Australia, and decided to make the move there for a new job and a new life. After a few years of self-reflection about what was important to her, she left the security of a stable income and the job she knew well, bought a property, and jumped head-first into sheep farming! Now, two decades into her venture, Nan's an ethical wool producer who has investigated and implemented many emerging and historic farming methods, learning from her animals and the land as she goes. She has had to make some big decisions which have changed the way she manages her flock and farm, but this approach has resulted in Nan's wool product being sought-after by ethical fashion entrepreneurs around the world.     Brad Hore - Olympic boxer inspiring the next generation

    Brad Hore first pulled on the boxing gloves at 10 year old. He qualified for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games at 17, but a cruel twist of fate meant he didn’t make weight and was disqualified. After that heartbreak, he focused on making the Athens Games team in 2004 and was successful in competing as Australia’s 23rd Indigenous Olympian. Since retiring from boxing, Brad's been a mentor and role model for young Indigenous people and has used his experience in and out of the ring to give back and educate those who are most vulnerable.  He is passionate about looking after his mental health, giving back and setting the best example for his family, friends and wider community. He’s also an incredible artist, creating meaningful bespoke canvas pieces. Oh and he’s even training a group of young Indigenous athletes to run the New York Marathon!     Peter Krzyworenka - Life can change in a heartbeat

    Sometimes you meet a person whose story, experience and outlook changes the way you want to live your life. Peter Krzyworenka has that kind of impact. For the past 25 years, Peter’s been the primary carer for his beautiful wife Lisa, who has multiple sclerosis. Peter’s journey from husband, father and business owner, to full time carer, has taken some twists and turns.
