When Heaven Went Silent. Ep.1: The Silence of Betrayal
When heaven went silent: the hours that changed eternity. Text: Luke 22:39–54This series walks us with Jesus through the darkest hours of the cross until the silence of the grave is shattered by the power of the resurrection. Sometimes heaven is silent because redemption is unfolding.Opening …There are moments in life when Heaven seems quiet. You pray… and the answer does not come. You cry out… but nothing seems to change. You look toward God… and the sky feels silent.Every believer eventually walks through a moment where it feels like Heaven has gone quiet. But what if I told you something that seems to be a pattern throughout history? Some of the most important things God ever accomplished happened while heaven seemed silent. The redemption of the world… The defeat of sin…The crushing of Satan…The salvation of humanity..._______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

In One Accord. Ep.1: United For a Purpose
Introduction: Unity is forged in the fire of purpose. Unity does not happen because people like each other or because they attend the same church. Unity is forged — forged in mission, in shared purpose, and in shared battles.Scripture paints unity not as a soft, emotional ideal, but as a spiritual force that advances the gospel, strengthens believers, and frustrates the enemy. There is a truth every church must embrace:“There is no stronger or faster way to build unity than through shared mission, shared purpose, and shared battles.” —Pastor Tom CunninghamWhen believers stand side by side — fighting for God’s kingdom, fighting for His church, fighting to save their spiritual lives — unity becomes more than a sermon topic. It becomes survival. Strength. Power. Victory. This is why we begin our series here. Not with doctrinal alignment, not with love or forgiveness — those matter deeply, and we will get there. But unity begins with mission.Because if we don’t know why we must be united, we will never stay united._____________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Oil&Water. Ep.4: The Outpouring
Final Episode of the OIL & WATER SeriesScriptures: Ezekiel 47:1–12; Acts 10:38Episode 4 is not like “more of the same. It isn’t a repeat — it’s the prophetic destination of the entire series. Episodes 1–3 were the preparation, but Episode 4 becomes the outpouring. Episode 4 is the “thundering revelation” that makes it not justrelevant, but essential, and possibly the most explosive of them all. Episode 4 is where the oil and water stop being symbols and start becoming streams. 1. It’s the shift from inward working to outward impact. 2. From vessel to conduit — 3. From “God in me” to “God through me.” 4. That’s the missing note — and that changes everything.Ezekiel 47:7-127. As I went back, I saw on the bank of the river very many trees on the one side and on the other.8. And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea; when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.9. And wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh so everything will live where the river goes.10. Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From En Gedi to En Eglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.11. But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt.12. And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”_______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Oil & Water. The Oil of Readiness
Bridge to “The Oil of Readiness”:The oil of the Spirit keeps us burning while we wait for the return of the King. The water speaks of initial filling — salvation. Oil speaks of continual fueling — sanctification. You may have been washed once, but if your lamp runs dry, you’ll miss the moment. Our story this morning is about remaining filled with oil; the ongoing presence of the Spirit keeps the light of salvation alive. The Oil of readiness is often, out of necessity, the oil of waiting. Jesus tells the story about ten virgins, ten bridesmaids waiting for the arrival of the Bridegroom.Five were wise. Five were foolish. They all had lamps. They all had light. But not all had oil — when it mattered the most. The parable is simple yet piercing: Some started well — but not all stayed ready. The difference wasn’t talent, status, or opportunity. The difference was oil.Scripture Reference:Matthew 25:1-13_______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Oil & Water. The Woman & The Well
Today — is about the woman at the well experiencing His living waters…Summary of the scripture…Most of you would be familiar with this story, so I won’t read the entire chapter, I’ll summarize it.In John 4, Jesus sits by Jacob’s well, tired, thirsty, and waiting. A Samaritan woman approaches, carrying an empty jar and not just to draw water; because symbolically she’s not just carrying an empty jar, she’s carrying empty life.Jesus turns that ordinary moment of thirst into a divine encounter. In their conversation, He exposes her emptiness not to condemn her, but to awaken her to her true need, living water that only He can give._______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Oil & Water. The Flow and the Flame
The Holy Spirit is the flow of Spirit and Life — both the water that refreshes and the oil that ignites. The Spirit’s fullness in power is oil and in presence, water. We need both to stay alive in Christ. This is the foundation for this series.Series Introduction:They say oil and water don’t mix. Science says they separate. Culture says they clash. But the Kingdom of God operates on a higher chemistry; Heaven knows how to blend what the world says can’t go together.Throughout Scripture, both oil and water are used as symbols of the Holy Spirit and the life of Jesus Christ. Oil represents anointing, empowerment, and consecration. Water represents cleansing, refreshing, and renewal. And yet, in the purposes of God, these two elements are never in competition. They’re companions. They work together; one filling, the other fueling. One washing you clean, the other setting you apart. One bringing life to the soul, the other lighting the spirit on fire. This series is about what happens when the oil of the Spirit and the living water of Jesus begin to move together in your life. When the flow and the refreshing of the living waters meet the oil and flame, the power of the Holy Spirit. This is when the presence of God meets the purpose for your life.Over these next four weeks, we’re going to explore how the Spirit and the Son of God work in perfect harmony, to cleanse us, fill us, and ignite us, until we overflow with the life of God._______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

A Call to Restoration. Return-Restoration's Completion
In this final episode, we lift our eyes from our own stories of healing to the far-reaching story of redemption — where every prodigal finds their way home, and every broken thing is made new. The heart of the Father is calling, “Come home.” And one day, when Jesus returns, that call will echo through creation itself as He restores all things to Himself.Introduction: Coming HomeEvery great story ends where it began, with home. Home isn’t just a location; it’s the place where things are right again. Where broken relationships are healed. Where distance gives way to embrace. From the beginning of time, God’s story has been a story of homecoming; a Father calling His lost children back. The story of The Prodigal Son in Luke 15 and The New Creation in Revelation 21 are not two stories: they’re two ends of the same story — the beginning and the finale of redemption. This final episode lifts our eyes from our individual journey of restoration to the grand restoration story — that God is writing across eternity._______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

A Call to Restoration. Revive and Refresh
Introduction: Spring After WinterThere’s a moment every year when winter finally breaks. The snow melts, the ground softens, and suddenly what looked like dead earth suddenly bursts into life. Dormant trees bud, little green shoots begin to poke through the soil, flowers bloom, and birds sing. What seemed lifeless just weeks before bursts into color, fragrance, and beauty. But then, after the first burst of color, the rains come, soaking the ground, refreshing what was newly alive. That’s the picture of restoration: God revives what was dead and refreshes what is weary.Spring is God’s reminder that He specializes in bringing life where death once reigned.Bridge…But here’s the problem: even when new life comes, we sometimes still live in an exhausted state. We’re alive but not refreshed. We’ve been raised, but we’re not resting in Him. And Jesus doesn’t just want to revive you with new life; He wants to refresh you with His rest._______________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

A Call To Restoration. A Heart Exchange
What happens when repair isn’t enough…Have you ever tried to fix something that simply couldn’t be fixed? You tinker with it, polish it, patch it up — but deep down you know it needs to be replaced, not repaired. Something so broken that no amount of duct tape, glue, or patchwork could bring it back. Maybe an old phone that just refused to hold a charge, no matter how many times you tried a new charger. Or maybe a car with a critical part that tanked — and no mechanic could repair it; it simply had to be replaced. That’s exactly how the Bible describes the human heart apart from God. It’s not wounded but hardened, not sick but dead. It’s not just damaged. It’s not just weak. It’s stone. Cold, unresponsive, lifeless. And here’s the truth: God doesn’t patch stone. He doesn’t weld it back together. He doesn’t apply a bandage. He replaces it with something living, something tender, pliable and new.Music info and license: The Seraphim Project - The Knowledge of Good and Evilhttps://www.worshipstart.com/royaltyfreemusic“This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.”

A Call To Restoration. Mended Nets- Mended Lives Part 2
We do live in a broken world. People are hurting. And we need Jesus and a genuine understanding that He loves us deeply. We really are who God says we are. And even if you are struggling to believe it, He loves you. We belong to Him. He died for us. And His will is that no one should perish. He desires to establish His identity in you. You are part of His plan, no matter where you came from or what you’ve done. He desires you to be included in the New Testament story of the church of Jesus Christ! And that is why He has called us to restoration — because the heart of Jesus is not to discard what is torn. His heart is to restore. This is more than a sermon series. It’s an invitation. An invitation to let God mend what is broken, heal what has been hurt, and restore what has been lost. Join us for the next 4 weeks in ‘A Call to Restoration.’And that starts with a Net with a Hole in it. That’s where the word for restoration appears in the Word of God. Picture with me if you will, James and John on the shore in Matthew 4:21. The text says they were mending their nets. The word “mend” is the Greek word katartízō [kah-tar-TID-zo] — the very same word Paul uses in Galatians 6:1 when he says, “Restore that person gently.”Def. ‘Katartízō’:To repair what is broken. To set right what is out of joint. To make useful again that which was torn apart.

What Happens in the Darkroom. The Reveal
Series Review to date…Over the last three weeks, we’ve walked together through the process of ‘What Happens in the dark room."In Episode 1, we saw that God exposes us to His promise in a moment just like film, the image is already there, even if it’s not yet visible. In Episode 2, we discovered that development happens in the dark, where God shapes, strengthens, and prepares us in hidden seasons. Then in Episode 3, we were cautioned of the danger of impatience. If we open the door too soon, we can ruin what God is forming, because patience protects the promise. And now, in Episode 4, we arrive at the moment we’ve all been waiting for, The Reveal. The moment when what God has been forming in secret — finally comes into the light, not just for our blessing, but for His glory.Bridge…God never develops us in the dark without intending to reveal us in the light. When His timing is complete, the doors open, the image is revealed, and the promise is fulfilled.________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

What Happens in the Dark Room. The Darkroom Door
Last week in Episode 2, Developed in the Dark we learned that darkroom isn’t punishment — it’s preparation. God uses hidden seasons to shape us, strengthen us, and develop us for what He has already imprinted in our lives. Even when nothing seems to be happening on the surface, God is at work in the shadows. But here’s the challenge: development only works if we let the process finish. If we rush out of the darkroom too soon, we risk ruining the very thing God is forming. That’s where Episode 3 comes in: We can’t open the door too soon. There is patience in the process — because God’s timing is just as important as God’s promise — and interrupting God’s timing can cause you to lose the promise. And if we can learn not to waste the wait, but to grow, prepare, and trust in the season of delay, then when God finally opens the door, we’ll be ready to step into the fullness of what He has prepared. Don’t waste the wait; there is value in the waiting season. The Darkroom DoorIn film photography, after exposure, the film must stay in the darkroom until the development process is complete. If you open the darkroom door too soon, the light will flood in and ruin the image. All the work, all the time, all the promise, wasted. Spiritually, the same is true. When we rush God’s timing, when we force doors open, when we try to make something happen before God is finished forming it, we risk ruining the very thing He was preparing for us._____________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

What Happens In the Dark Room. Developed in the Dark
The darkroom is not just a place of waiting — it’s a place of working. In the darkness, God is developing in us the depth, strength, and character required to handle the light. In the dark, the image changes from invisible to visible. The conditions you can’t control are the ones God uses most to shape you._____________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

What Happens In the Dark Room. Exposed But Not Yet Seen. Part 2
Continuing from where we left off last week, in this part 2, Joseph is given favor while in prison, as leader of the prisoners.[holding in my hand] This strip of film has already been exposed. Light has already touched it. The moment is there — it’s permanent — but invisible. It doesn’t matter how closely you look right now; you won’t see the image. But given time, in the right environment, handled by skilled hands, it will reveal what was always there.God does this in our lives. He gives a moment of exposure — a vision, a promise, a calling — and then moves us into a darkroom season where it’s remains unseen and yet unfulfilled, but still real. The dream God gave you is already real, it’s just not visible yet. The dark room seasons are where faith is forged and the image becomes clear.___________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Press Play. The Final Task
Church, the hour is urgent. The world won’t be reached by Christian spectators. It’s time to be bold, loud, and unashamed; your voice was made for victory. Evangelism is not optional. It’s not occasional. It is the daily outflow of a life that has truly been transformed. If we are truly followers of Jesus, then His mission must become our sacred movement. This can’t be just another message on evangelism. This can’t be a talk that we nod our heads to and forget by lunch. This is life or death and not just in the eternal sense.____________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Press Play. Built To Last
You can’t build a godly future on a worldly foundation. In a culture of chaos, confusion, and shifting values, we must return to the unshakable foundation of God’s truth. If your life is going to stand the test of time, the storms, and the trials, it must be built to last. Those who find themselves in a constant ‘wavering of faith’ among us this morning must grab ahold of this truth. The ‘saved today, gone tomorrow’ Christianity, stops now!Nothing is built to last if it’s not built on truth. And right now, in America and around the world, we are witnessing an outright war on truth. Truth is under attack._________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Press Play. Fire Back In Your Bones- Pt. 2
In this part two of "Fire Back in Your Bones", Jamie talks about what biblical parenting looks like and the mistakes we can make. And so, we need yet another ‘wakeup call’ this morning. We need to Press Play on something that ebbs and flows but doesn’t remain.Church, we are in a moment. A moment where God is not calling us to more comfort, but to more fire. The cry of this generation is not, “Give me a good church experience.” It’s more like, “Is there anything real? Is there anyone burning for God?”Today’s message, again, is not for the passive Christian. It’s not for the lukewarm. It’s not for the casually interested Christian, “hum ho, show me what you got”It’s for the hungry. For the desperate. For those who know deep down, something is missing — and it’s not more entertainment or more content — it’s more presence. The presence of God is life.Notable Quote:C.S. Lewis, in his book Miracles, writes, “The presence of God is the most real thing we ever encounter.”The title of today’s message is “Fire Back in Your Bones” for a reason!_____________________________________________________________For more info and updates on Revive Church:https://www.reviveohio.church/https://www.youtube.com/@revivechurchohiohttps://www.facebook.com/ReviveChurchOhio/https://www.instagram.com/revivechurchohio/

Welcome to Week 2 of our “Press Play” series. For most of us, this new series will be a challenge. It’s going to push you to make a decision about the direction of your life. No more hesitation.
