19 | How to Be Discerning in a World Full of Deception

🤔 Truth vs deception, can you tell the difference between the two?In this episode I am sharing how to be discerning in a world full of deception. We live in VERY deceptive times! Gone are the days of “seeing is believing” with the onset of Ai technology. No longer can we simply believe what we see and hear, as we now rely on fact checkers to decipher what is true and what is false. These times of uncertainty can stir up a lot of anxiety and fear, but as women of Yah we must be diligent about seeking out TRUTH. 📝 A Few Notes on Seeking Truth* DO NOT lose hope in your search.* HOLD ON TO HUMILITY! I am NOT always right, I am always learning🚨How to be discerning in a world full of deception:* Choose the word of Yah as your foundation for truth. Psalm 119 (176 verses - theme: The Word of Yah)* Commit to knowing what it says– read and study scripture. Study to learn, not just to confirm.* Choose to believe the word (even the parts you do not yet understand)* Allow the word to shape your thought processes (The word of yah trumps your traditions and cultures).🤔 Why Such a Strong Emphasis on THE WORD?John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.John 14:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.🙏🏾 Pray for wisdom, knowledge & understanding of Yah’s wordPsalms 111:10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.Colossians 2:8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.John 5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.* Pray for and practice discernment. Ep. 16-18discernment: the ability to judge well, understand hidden truths, or make wise decisions, often involving the sifting of complex information to distinguish between right and wrong or better and best* Don’t just be aware, be responsible and make informed decisions.* Be radical in what you watch, listen to, read etc. because faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17).* Focus on the heroes of faith. Beware of celebrity culture (aka idolatry).Mentioned In this episode:* Receiving the Holy Spirit With the Evidence of Speaking in Tongues by Bishop Steve B. 18 | What does it mean to be born again? Breaking down the plan of salvation.

🙌🏾 The plan of salvation is easy. This week The Most High laid it on my heart to break down the plan of salvation and explain what it means to be born again. Although the plan is clear the enemy has done a number on MANY at distorting and confusing minds on such a straightforward process. Wherever you are in your relationship with Yah, I pray that this episode is a blessing to you. Feel free to reach out and ask questions.🛣️ The Romans Road To Salvation:Many Christians when asked about salvation refer to Romans 10:9 as the path to salvation and proceed to lead one seeking into a prayer that repeats this verse. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.☝🏾What the Savior said about salvation:🚨The book of John revealed the plan of salvation, the book of Acts demonstrated the plan of salvation, and the book of Romans reiterates that salvation is in Jesus.John 3: 1-7 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.🤔 What does it mean to be Born again: refers to a spiritual rebirth or regeneration of the human spirit.* Being born again means that spiritually you are reconnected with The Most High Yah. (From when sin separated us from Him via Adam & Eve) Isaiah 59:2* It means you are now spiritually back in fellowship with Yah (where He can speak to you and guide you and direct you).* Because you have been reconnected with Yah, even when you die you will inherit the kingdom of God and live forever in peace with Him.🤔 What are you saved from? You are saved from eternal separation and destruction from Yah.2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;🤔 What are you saved to?To live with Him forever in peace.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Serve Yah in the beauty of holiness* Holiness is your new lifestyle through Christ. Remember Ep. 16 Holiness keeps you safe.4 Parts to Salvation:Salvation demonstrated In the Book of ACTSActs 2:38 - The first time anyone received the Holy Spirit after Jesus’ revelation of salvation in John. This one scripture lists all 3 steps to salvation. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.STEP #1: Repentance: The conscious act of reviewing one’s actions, feeling genuine regret or contrition for wrongdoing, and making a committed resolve to change behavior for the better. Godly sorrow.John the forerunner of Jesus preached repentance because without it you cannot get to the place where you see a need for being born again.STEP #2: Water baptism in the name of Yahusha (Jesus) by immersion. A burial of your sins.Name vs Titles:Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.Baptism by ImmersionMatthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.STEP #3: Receive the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.Whenever scripture records people receiving the Holy Spirit they spoke in tongues. Tongues and power precede the Holy Spirit.Acts 2:1-4: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.Acts 10:44-46 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,Acts 19:4-6 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. The book of John revealed the plan of salvation, the book of Acts demonstrated the plan of salvation, and the book of Romans reiterates that salvation is in Jesus.Utterance is given by GOD only!Acts 2:4 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.STEP #4: Live holyHoliness manifests the fruit of the SpiritGalatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.Verses 19-21 Speaks about what manifests when you are NOT let of The Holy SpiritVerse 22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Mentioned In this episode:* Receiving the Holy Spirit With the Evidence of Speaking in Tongues by Bishop Steve B. 17 | Is God Enough? How to cultivate contentment in a discontented world.

👩🏾‍🦳 Anna the Prophetess was a picture of contentment - Luke 2:36-38I was asked to speak on Anna the prophetess several years ago and when I realized there were only 3 verses on her to study I sought Yah, and what He share with me about her was the fact that this woman was a picture of contentment. Our level of contentment helps us answer the question, “Is God enough?” in this episode I am sharing the importance of contentment and how to cultivate it in world that profits off of discontentment.📝Scripture commands us to be content:* 1 Timothy 6:6-8: “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.”* Philippians 4:11-12: “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound... I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.”* Hebrews 13:5: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”* Proverbs 19:23: “The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.”* Ecclesiastes 5:10: “He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.”* Psalm 23:1: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”Discontentment is a short path to suffering.☝️How to cultivate contentment in a discontented worldCultivate: to develop or improve by education or training; train; refine.Master your time.* Take inventory. Consider what you are doing with your time. What are you lending your time to?* The simple act of scrolling keeps you in the mindset of seeking. What are you looking for?Pray for and practice discernment* Don’t just be aware, be responsible and make informed decisions.* Be radical in what you watch, listen to, read etc. because faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17).* Beware of celebrity culture. Focus on the heroes of faith. Our Patriarchs and Matriarchs of scripture.Practice Gratitude* Gratitude should be practiced in order to make it a habit.* Of the 10 lepers ONLY 1 came back to say thank you.Trust the stillness - Don’t be driven by your ambition or suspicion* It’s when we are still, trusting and relying on Yah that we hear and see His power manifest.* Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.* 2 Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.* Job 37:14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.* 1 Samuel 12:7 Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.* Stillness brings reflection and remembrance. Allow your mind to be reminded of the works of Yah. He will fight for you when you are still. 16 | Applying Holiness: How to Live Like Christ in Your Everyday Life

✨We need to talk more about holinessWhat’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word holiness? For many, holiness is a trigger and brings about thoughts of limitations, strict behavior, and a life that is bound to the detriment of personal identity. In this episode I will be breaking down what holiness actually is and how to apply it in our everyday lives. If you struggle to understand holiness, let this episode serve as your foundation of what holiness is according to scripture and learn to apply it to your everyday life. 🤔 What is Holiness?* the state of being set apart, consecrated, or divine, often characterized by absolute moral purity and freedom from sin.* the quality or state of being holy; sanctity. Synonyms: saintliness, godliness, blessedness* being “set apart” or consecrated for God’s special purpose, embodying moral purity and reflecting God’s character.* STRONG CONCORDANCE H6944: KODESH - apartness, holiness, sacredness, separateness; set-apartness, separateness📝Notes on Holiness:* Yah is fundamentally HOLY. Thus holiness is the fundamental attribute of Yah.* Scripture commands us to be HOLY (like God)* 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16* Holiness is the work of The Holy God. Because Yah is fundamentally holy, He is the one that can make and who determines what/who is holy.* Without holiness we lose access to Yah.* Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14📍Holiness Today:* Holiness is unattainable.* Holiness has been exchanged for tolerance. Instead of being separate everyone wants to come together under the umbrella of “love”.* Holiness is restrictive. Unhealthy restriction.☝️How to Live Like Christ (Apply Holiness) in Your Everyday Life* You MUST be filled with the Holy Spirit to know what is holy and to apply holiness to your daily life. Holiness IN US is the work of The Holy God!* You MUST CHOOSE holiness daily. Everything is a choice.* View holiness as a healthy boundary. Limits & restrictions ARE NOT BAD!* Strive for contentment in Christ. Change your appetite.* Pray for discernment. Discernment is the ability to judge well, making keen, subtle distinctions between similar things, such as truth from falsehood, or good from bad.Mentioned In this episode:* Use Code PODCAST for 15% OFF your prayer journal purchase on my website! www.lovedonewrite.com* Applying Holiness Substack* Donate* Join The Community - The Intercessor’s Circle Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe

14 | How Prayer Journaling Taught Me to Trust God (Even When It Was Hard)

🙌🏾 Serving Yah is a Journey of FAITH!In this episode I am sharing with you the importance of building up your trust in God through prayer journaling. Trust is the FOUNDATION of our relationship with God and we must be vigilant about building and maintaining it. What is Trust? Trust is firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. What is Faith? Faith is complete trust, confidence, or firm belief in something, often without tangible proof.Scripture References:But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:626 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.John 20:26-31 KJVA few notes about Trust/Faith:* Faith is belief in action - Because you believe you do something or you become something.11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 2 Corinthians 4:13Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1* Faith is a muscle that needs to be exercised:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:13-15 & 17How Prayer Journaling Taught Me to Trust God (Even When It Was Hard)* It gave me a tangible place to go and spend time with the intangible God.* It keeps Yah’s track record of answered prayers* It invokes bible study, giving me answers to questions, changing my perspective, and reminding me of His power - His word is actively writes back to me.12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [b]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [c]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 | Head Coverings: A Sign of Submission to Authority

🤔 Do You Cover? The topic of head covering can be such a controversial topic, forcing women to take one side of the argument over the other. In this episode, I am sharing a teaching on the topic that I did a few years ago, and taking a close look at what the scripture has to say. Faith is belief in action and I believe that as women of faith, when we take on the culture of The Messiah it is displayed in our every day lives. 12 | Understanding Biblical Femininity: Applying The W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework

💁🏾‍♀️What exactly is Biblical Femininity?Biblical femininity is the basis for how we respond to life as women of Yah. It is the foundation of our behaviors, ideas, and attributes. In this episode I will share a clear explanation of biblical femininity and a framework on how to apply it to your life.💕Biblical femininity explained:PART #1: UNDERSTANDING and ACCEPTING Yah’s hierarchy of authority according to 1 Corinthians 11:3.AUTHORITY CONSISTS OF RESPONSIBILITYPART #2: Embracing YOUR RIGHT to be loved, cherished, cared for, and guided by Man (and obviously God!) according to Ephesians 5:21-33Fully understanding biblical femininity is recognizing that your strength as a woman of Yah is NOT in your dominance but in your influence.Applying the W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework:* a supporting structure around which something can be built* a system of rules, ideas, or beliefs that is used to plan or decide something:WAIL:1: TO EXPRESS SORROW AUDIBLY : LAMENT2: TO MAKE A SOUND SUGGESTIVE OF A MOURNFUL CRY3: TO EXPRESS DISSATISFACTION PLAINTIVELY : COMPLAINHave radically honest conversations with God, Beseeching heaven for clarity, understanding, instruction, and perspective shift. AND WAITING WITH EXPECTATION, A RESPONSE!ADJUST:TO REDUCE TO A SYSTEM : REGULATEResponding in faith and obedience to whatever Yah tells or shows you.REFRESH:TO RESTORE OR MAINTAIN BY RENEWING SUPPLY : REPLENISHAccept that Yah is working it out for your good as you adjust to His system.PRIVATE REFRESHING:Use your “Happy List” to go do something nice for yourself or something you enjoy. AKA self-carePUBLIC REFRESHING:Share your testimony! And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. 11 | The TRUTH About Living A Soft Life

💅🏾 Are you living a soft life? The world has been buzzing about soft living the past couple of years, and as a woman of Yah it’s my duty to examine the narratives being pushed in front of me. In this episode I take a look at what exactly a “soft life” entails through a biblical lense. ☝🏾The TRUTH About Living A Soft Life* Adopt the Bible’s version of Femininity: is understanding that you are not your own, and that you answer to authority (the man and Yah). This is not just about you submitting but it’s also about the fact that you have the right to be covered, cherished, protected and cared for by the man.* 1 Corinthians 11:3 gives us a hierarchy of authority1 Corinthians 11: 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.* Ephesians 5:21-33 speaks about submission as being a characteristic of both women and men. V. 22 speaks directly to the woman but v. 23-29 speak in details directly to the man. V. 30-33 speak to both again.Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.* A soft life takes hard work: You are going to go through things that challenge your faith, and how you respond makes all the difference.* Soft is subjective: My version of a soft life may not look like yours and that’s FINE.Philippians 4:11-13 - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.Mentioned In this episode:* Grab the Reflect & Reset REPLAY* Donate* Join The Community - The Intercessor’s Circle* Shop Prayer Journals + Prompts Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe

10 | DHF: I’m tired and overwhelmed | 3 things you need to pray for when you’re chronically tired & overwhelmed

✍🏾💕 Dear Heavenly Father…. I’m emotionally SPENT!How do you practically process your feelings? To many women are NOT intentionally processing their emotions and it’s starting to SHOW UP!It’s showing up in your weight, your skin, your hair, your conversation, your happiness 😭. It’s time to make some changes ladies!🙏🏾What to pray for when you’re chronically tired & overwhelmed:* Pray for Awareness: Feeling chronically overwhelmed and tired is a byproduct of being in survival mode. Pray for self awareness (What do you do when you’re tired? How do you respond) Are you fighting through the stress, are you simply avoiding it, or are you just stuck in a haze of hopelessness?* Pray for discernment in hearing His voice: TMH is always talking but when we are chronically tired & overwhelmed we are not able to hear His voice. Remember He speaks to us in dreams so don’t dismiss your dreams.Scripture reference:JOB 33:14-17 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.* Pray for the courage to take action: Taking action is HARD because it forces you to be responsible for what you may have done wrong, it cause you to set boundaries or cut people off, it causes you to MAKE NEW CHOICES and for some that can be scary and HARD!Mentioned In this episode:* Join me for Reflect & Reset: 3 Day Digital Retreat REPLAY* Donate* Join The Community - The Intercessor’s Circle* Shop Prayer Journals + Prompts Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe

    09 |You Can't Rest Because You Don't Trust God

😬 Either Say Ouch or AmenThe fact that so many women struggle with rest tells me that the enemy is doing his job at keeping us disconnected from Yah. Rest is a reflection that we are NOT dependent on ourselves but rather the unlimited power of our God!Rest Defined: cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength.* True rest is connected to Yah Scripture Reflections:* Psalms 127:2 - It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.* Isaiah 30:15 - For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.* Matthew 11:28-30 - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.* Rest is a command* Your inability to rest reflects a mindset that believes that our strength is enough.* Hebrews 4:1-11 AMPMentioned in this episode:* Join me for Reflect & Reset: 3 Day Digital Retreat REPLAY* Donate* Join The Community - The Intercessor’s CircleShop Prayer Journals + Prompts Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe

‼️ The time has finally come! 🗣️Testimony TimeFor the past several weeks I have been teasing you all with buts and pieces of my testimony but the time has finally come for me to give you all the detailed story. In this week’s podcast I will be sharing with you all part #1 of my testimony. the past 4 years have TAKEN A TOLL, but Yah has been faithful. And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. Revelations 12:11 AMP❤️‍🩹 Lessons & Reflections* I deserve more of my own attention* Grief doesn’t have to disappear to make room for joy* Difficulty reveals the truth about your faith and your relationship with Yah* His grace REALLY IS sufficient for us - You can go through and do hard things and Yah is still good, just, holy…. He is still YAH!* Yah does not waste pain - You never go through trials just for the sake of going through trials.Reflection Scriptures:* And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9* It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. 05 | Lessons In Suffering Well

🤔 Suffer well?Sis, do you suffer well? I know that this may be a foreign concept to most but scripture actually calls us as women of Yah to suffer well or suffer righteously. There IS a way to go through hard things righteously and we are responsible to counsel our hearts with the word of Yah so that when trials come we do not sin.In this episode I am sharing a few lessons I’ve learned as I strive to suffer well. A topic that may not go viral or spark the interest of many, but one that will benefit all who have ears to hear and a heart to receive.Join me as I being to open the pages of my life and share how I strive to endure. 📖 Scripture speaks of suffering as a natural part of the life of the believer:* Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12* Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 34:19* But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10* My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:2-4📖 A biblical response to suffering:* Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13* These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33* And not only so, but we glory (take pleasure) in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5* We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10Mentioned in this episode:* The Intercessor’s Circle* LoveDoneWrite - Shop Prayer Journals + PromptsLove Done Write is a reader-supported publication.
