    Heart check & Catch up

Sometimes life gets busy, our thoughts get loud, and we just need a moment to breathe and talk. In this episode, I’m slowing down and catching up, no notes, no outline, just honesty. We’ll talk about life lately, how I’ve been feeling, and what God’s been showing me in the middle of it all. This one’s a reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out to still be walking with God. Even in the quiet seasons or the messy ones, He’s still working, still teaching, and still right beside you. 🕊️✨Take a moment, check in with your heart, and let’s just breathe together, one step, one prayer, one day at a time. 💛Scriptures:Psalm 46:10Philippians 4:6–7 Romans 8:28 Galatians 6:9 lIsaiah 40:31 Matthew 11:28 Proverbs 3:5–6

    Right Place, Real Faith

In this episode of Loved Her First, I’m diving into what it truly means to be right where God needs you to be and how that connects to practicing what you preach. 🌿 Inspired by a conversation with my sorority sister, Ikeiko, and a powerful Sunday school lesson, this episode is a reminder that our words and actions should align with our faith. You don’t have to rush God’s timing, you are exactly where He needs you, and your walk should reflect your talk.Scriptures:Jeremiah 7:23Jeremiah 7:5–7James 1:22 Proverbs 16:9Philippians 1:6 Reflection Questions:• What does it mean to truly walk what you talk? • How can you tell when your actions don’t match your faith? • Why do we sometimes feel like we’re “behind” when we’re actually right on time? • How can obedience and consistency strengthen your relationship with God? • What are some areas where you could practice what you preach more intentionally?

Trapped by Offense: Chapter 2 of The Bait of Satan

In this episode of Loved Her First, I’m continuing our journey through The Bait of Satan by John Bevere, diving into Chapter 2. This chapter unpacks how offense can trap us, affect our hearts, and distance us from God’s purpose. Together, we’ll read, reflect, and talk about learning to recognize offense before it takes root. 💭✨Reflection Questions: • What does it mean to recognize offense before it grows? • Why do we hold onto hurt and how does that affect our faith? • Have there been times where forgiveness felt impossible but necessary? • How can releasing offense help us grow closer to God?

    Too busy for God?

In this episode, we’re diving into what it really means to be “too busy for God.” Life gets hectic—work, school, family, social media—but when busyness starts pushing God to the side, something’s off balance. I’ll be sharing ways we can slow down, simple ways to spend time with Him without pressure, and why connecting with God doesn’t have to be perfect or scheduled to be powerful.Scriptures:Matthew 6:33Luke 10:41–42Ecclesiastes 3:1Psalm 46:10 Mark 1:35 Reflection Questions • What does “being too busy for God” look like in real life? • How can we recognize when we’ve let distractions take priority? • What are small, simple ways to include God in daily routines? • Why does time with God not need to be “perfect” or scheduled? • How do we create balance between responsibilities and faith?

When God Starts to Separate You

In this episode of Loved Her First, I’m talking about how God will sometimes start to separate us from certain people, habits, and distractions so He can bring us closer to Him. When God has a greater purpose for your life, the things that once excited you may suddenly feel empty, and the things that once consumed your time may no longer satisfy you. This separation isn’t punishment—it’s preparation for what God has next.

    His Plan, Not Mine

We all make plans, but God’s plans are always greater. In this episode, I share scriptures, reflections, and personal stories on trusting His will even when it doesn’t match what we pictured. It’s about stepping back, surrendering control, and allowing God to direct our steps because what He has for us is far better than anything we could plan for ourselves.Scriptures:Jeremiah 29:11Proverbs 16:9Isaiah 55:8–9Romans 8:28Psalm 37:23–24Matthew 6:33

No matter what season you find yourself in, God’s timing is perfect and He makes all things beautiful in His time.Join me as we talk about trusting God’s timing, finding peace in the season you’re in, and learning to embrace His purpose for every stage of life.🎧 Tune in, be encouraged, and remember: your season has purpose.

The Bait of Satan: A Read-Along Series

Offense is something we all face, but how do we deal with it without letting it take root in our hearts? In this episode, I begin reading The Bait of Satan by John Bevere and walk through what offense really means, why it’s called a “trap,” and how God’s Word teaches us to respond with forgiveness and grace. Together we’ll look at key scriptures like Luke 17:1, Proverbs 19:11, Ephesians 4:31–32, and Matthew 18:7 to understand how to live free from bitterness and walk in God’s love.Reflection Questions: Have you ever struggled with holding onto offense? How do you usually deal with people who hurt you?Do you think offense can block your spiritual growth?
