Meet four JMT administrative professionals - Joanne Acevedo, Beverly Jackson, Natalie Jones, and Alison Moore - and learn why they chose the administrative career and how their work impacts life at JMT. Administrative professionals are crucial to operations at JMT and help us "be better". They possess organizational skills that assist with deadlines of varying complexities and urgencies, provide solutions and workarounds for equipment and supplies, and hold institutional knowledge of JMT, its offices, and departments. Their interpersonal skills are key in addressing various questions and providing numerous other supports. They often wear multiple hats, being the heartbeat of an office or department, and are most aware of the team's pulse.

Lauren is the Pennsylvania/Ohio regional marketing manager at JMT. During this episode, you will hear how Lauren's operations background set the stage that launched her into marketing and now leads a strong team of marketing professionals in the region. Marco talks about his passion for water and wastewater and why he has followed the path informed by his childhood growing up in the desert southwest. Marco is a project management professional and leads our water team in El Paso, Texas. He is an active member of the American Water Works Association and the Project Management Institute.

Each year, Engineering News-Record [ENR] recognizes young professionals under 40 who positively impact the engineering community. This year, JMT is honored to have four regional winners: Darren D'Achille, PE | ENR Mid-Atlantic; Brian Derr, PE | ENR NY/NJ; Cullen Harper, PE | ENR TX/LA; and Kim Waters, PE | ENR Mid-Atlantic. Meet Joanne Arellano a project manager who works in Newark, Delaware, and assists with managing the traffic study section of JMT's traffic department. She discusses her journey to becoming a traffic engineer and also discusses a project that is a first for the State of Delaware. Joanne is a registered professional engineer, professional traffic operations engineer, and professional transportation planner.
