The Lord God gives us vision and direction in our lives. He will tell His disciples what the goal is, but hide the individual steps to get there. Along this journey, God will instruct you to daily tasks and then reveal Himself within them. So a Christian's journey is from revelation to revelation of Jesus, increasing their faith in their walk until they meet that original goal. Jesus Christ came to the earth with a mission from heaven. He set out on His ministry to culminate in the city of Jerusalem. The Church remembers His entrance into Jerusalem as Palm Sunday. Even though Jesus arrived in Jerusalem on a colt, the events of the week did not go as planned. The Christian life is not boring, boredom stems from religion. All of creation eagerly awaits for the sons of God to be revealed. It is yearning to know the glory of God. To do the will of God should bring eager anticipation in believer's of Christ, not build a duty of religion. The Bible is not full of "dos" and "don'ts". Jesus tells His followers they will know and hear His voice, like sheep know and hear their shepherd's voice. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy our confidence and promises in knowing the voice of God. Jesus emptied Himself daily to be a vessel in the hands of the Holy Spirit. We are jars of clay in the hands of the living God. God wants to use us for HIs glory, but we can only find the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, who was the Servant of God. What are you injecting into your body through your eyes and your thoughts that is opposing the Christ? We cannot be of this world though we live in it. Yet Jesus Christ is the greater one within His believers. Greater is He, and He will never leave us or forsake us. Our focus must be on Jesus, He is the source of all greatness. Encountering Christ shall begin the transformation in our thoughts, mind and actions. Only Jesus, the Resurrected One, can raise a generation from death. The true rod of grace and authority is the Holy Spirit. When we align our heart, mind and emotions to His authority, we break the back of the oppressor.
