Ep. 24 She Moved In With A Man And His Kids To Save Money......Would You?

She didn’t “manifest” her way out of this. She made a plan, took a second job, faced the numbers, and made a housing choice that sounded a little unhinged on purpose because survival sometimes is. Lisa, the creator behind thirtyfiveandfive, joins us to tell the full story of how her five-year plan became a lifeline when life felt off-track at 35. Key TakeawaysSetting clear goals is essential for personal growth and accountability. Vulnerability can foster community and support among individuals facing similar challenges. It's crucial to adapt and adjust plans as life unfolds, recognizing that setbacks are part of the journey.About Lisa Lisa is a now thirty-six year old woman who has navigated life's up and downs as a single woman. If you’ve ever asked “Why her?” or “What do men mean when they say they’re not ready?” this conversation gives you the clearest answer: listen to the words, then watch the choices.Key TakeawaysTake time to heal after a breakup.  Use dating apps wisely, understanding that users may have different intentions.  Clear communication is key to successful relationships.  Seek partners who align with your values and long-term goals.About Richard DoddsRichard is a creative producer, podcast host, husband, father, and the founder of Crowned Culture Media. Ep. 22 | Why Do We Stay When We Know It’s Trash

Sometimes the most painful part of a relationship ending isn’t the ending. It’s the moment you realize you knew something was wrong for a long time and you kept going anyway. I’m solo today, getting brutally honest about the “illusion of not knowing,” why we ignore relationship red flags, and how we talk ourselves into staying when our gut is already screaming.A story from an Oprah interview lights the fuse: a wife describes being shocked by her husband’s affair, and I can’t help but challenge the idea that it came out of nowhere. We unpack what it looks like when a relationship feels fine on the surface but your nervous system says otherwise. Anxiety, dread, stomach issues, brain fog, and that constant sense of being on edge can be your body keeping score, warning you that something is unsafe or untrue even if you can’t “prove” it yet. Then we go straight into the good girl conditioning so many women carry: be nice, don’t make waves, keep the peace, be the bigger person. I talk about how that training can erase anger, mute boundaries, and even let someone off the hook for real harm. We also dig into the fear layer, especially for moms. The fear of divorce, the fear of being a single mother, the fear of starting over can turn a partnership into a transaction that costs you your health and your self-respect.If any of this hits close to home, I want you to leave with one question: what are you going to do with what you already know? Subscribe for part two, share this with someone who needs it, and please leave a review so more people can find the show.Key Takeaways from Personal ExperienceReflecting on my past relationships, I’ve realized that recognizing the signs of a failing relationship often requires honesty with oneself. Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off, don’t dismiss it. Your intuition is a powerful tool.Communicate Openly: Don’t be afraid to voice your concerns. Open communication can prevent issues from escalating.Prioritize Your Well-Being: Your mental and emotional health should always come first. Ep. 21 Bad Sex, Fake Orgasms & The Lies We Keep

Most of us were handed a fake script for sex: quick penetration, instant fireworks, and zero conversation. Then real life happens and suddenly people feel “broken” when their bodies don’t match the movies. We’re done with that. I sit down with Tamilynn Edwards, an American Board Certified Clinical Sexologist and Sex Coach, to get painfully honest about women’s pleasure, the female orgasm, and why clitoral stimulation is often the missing link.Key TakeawaysUnderstanding Anatomy: Female anatomy is complex, and many women do not reach orgasm through penetration alone. Context Matters: Factors such as emotional connection, stress, and physical health impact sexual pleasure.Communication is Key: Open discussions about desires and preferences can enhance intimacy and satisfaction in relationships.Self-Exploration: Women should embrace self-pleasure as a way to understand their bodies better.About TamilynnTamilynn Edwards is an American Board Certified Clinical Sexologist and Sex Coach and the founder of Sensuality Coach Clinic. Her work didn’t begin in a classroom it began in conversation. After years of witnessing women quietly struggle with body changes, shifting desire, resentment in long-term relationships, and the silent shame that often accompanies menopause, Tamilynn realized something was deeply missing in the way we talk about sexual health. Too many women were being told “it’s normal,” “it’s just stress,” or “that’s what happens with age” and then left to navigate it alone. At one point, she saw how easy it is to lose yourself inside the roles we carry partner, mother, professional, caregiver and how hard it can be to reconnect with your sensual self once you’ve been surviving for years. That realization became a turning point. She understood that what many women label as “low libido” is often exhaustion, disconnection, hormonal change, or a loss of identity.Today, Tamilynn helps women single, partnered, married, divorced rebuild confidence in their bodies, communicate their needs without guilt, and redefine intimacy in a way that feels aligned with who they are now, not who they were ten years ago.Her approach blends clinical education with grounded, honest conversation. Because sexual health is not a luxury  it’s part of feeling whole. And no woman should feel broken for evolving.Connect w/TamilynnInstagramFacebookWebsiteTikTokSend us Fan MailHost:LisaWatch us on YouTubeVisit us at our websiteAnd FOLLOW us onInstagram FacebookTikTok🚨Send us your Too Crazy To Be True Story. Ep. 20 What If Being Single In Your 50's Is Actually The Upgrade?

By challenging societal narratives and embracing their unique journeys, women can reclaim their identities and pursue fulfilling lives. Key takeaways include:  Life after 50 is not an ending but an opportunity for re-invention.  Self-inquiry is essential for personal growth and rediscovering one's identity.  Community and open conversations can empower women to embrace their authenticity.About ColleenColleen Kochannek is a corporate refugee turned reinvention strategist for women over 50 ready to claim their 3rd Act as their power season. They are unpacking how to listen to these physiological cues, and the role they play in both identifying harmful presences and the journey toward healing.
