A two-part worship series called “Watch and Learn: Developing Unforced Rhythms of Faith” concludes on Sunday, January 25, 2026, as we reconsider once again what actually makes someone a follower of Jesus. Both messages are rooted in Matthew 11:28-30, a passage that remains central to this community of faith. The second message in the series, “Keep Company,” asks us to invite ourselves and others into a deeper connection with God and humanity.

A two-part worship series called “Watch and Learn: Developing Unforced Rhythms of Faith” begins on Sunday, January 18, 2026, as we reconsider once again what actually makes someone a follower of Jesus. Both messages are rooted in Matthew 11:28-30, a passage that remains central to this community of faith. The first message in the series, “Live Freely,” invites us to consider ways to engage faith and life that actually release us from unnecessary burden.

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, we at Morning Star will turn to Matthew 3:13-17 in honor of the baptism of Jesus. The message, “Do You Come to Me?” will invite us to consider the role that we are called to play in God’s faithful work in the world.

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, we at Morning Star observe Epiphany, the celebration of the magi’s visit to the Christ Child. The message, “And Suddenly,” will be rooted in Matthew 2:1-12 as we reflect upon the light that guides us and the light that we shine into the world.

On Sunday, December 28, 2025, we close out one year and welcome the next with “Shining the Light of Hope into 2026,” a time of reflection and intention rooted in Isaiah 63:7-9.
