My Line of Thought; a Christian Podcast

God sends us out as Sheep Among Wolves, so today we are talking about what that may look like in our own lives, and what we're told that it was like for some of those God has used in POWERFUL WAYS throughout scripture.

The road of sanctification and healing is filled with setbacks, detours and distractions, but through the difficulties we BECOME different. We become a Brand New Creation transformed into the image of Christ. Through the pain, we are fashioned into His Masterpiece. And He loves to show off...God loves to take what the world sees as the most UNLIKELY people, as instruments for His purposes. He takes the damage, the chaos and turns us into His beautiful work of art. If you weren't a mess to begin with, then where would the miracle be?God shows His SUPERNATURAL capabilities in our human fallibilities. He shows that there's nothing beyond HIS power in our lack, in our deficiency or hopeless state. It is in our weakness, that HE IS STRONG.

In isolation David walked in a close, intimate relationship with God. Through years of tending to sheep he grew to know the Lord in a way few do. Playing his harp in worship and praise, David became a man after God's own heart. Then when the time was right, God moved David into the palace where his musical gift put him in the presence of King Saul.

Today's short episode is intended to answer this question. My hope is to give you a little background on life, and explain why I chose "My Line of Thought" as the name for this new Christian Podcast, and what gives me, your host, a unique perspective.

This is a short Christian Testimony of the SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE, of How I FIRST Met God, in my darkest moment, as a young eight year old child, distraught and suicidal on the floor of a dilapidated trailer house, in the middle of no where Texas.

God loves to use broken people to shine light through, into the dark. This episode is about a time when I felt as though I had no value, and yet God still used me, my difficult past, and the pain I went through to help someone else, who had been through the unspeakable.TRIGGER WARNING; This episode is EXPLICIT CONTENT for 18 and up, and NOT for those who are sensitive.

After decades of being in survival mode, I was finally able to slow down, rest, grieve and recover from the trauma of my past. Then, there amidst the pain and shock of fully absorbing all that has happened, I began asking myself "What IF?" What IF I had NOT been just surviving for most of my life. What IF my childhood had been different? What if the domino effect of unfortunate outcomes and tragedies had not begun to unfold with the circumstances I'd been born into? Would I have ever seen a MIRACLE? Would I have ever needed one? Would I have developed the relationship with God that I have today?
