In this engaging and heartfelt episode of Navigating Clarity, Smith Sharpe sits down with Sandy Auten and Jim Graziano to talk about the exciting changes unfolding at Discovery Church. From fun facts (like Sandy's past as Miss Bunker Hill) to the major building project currently underway, the conversation is filled with laughter, vision, and purpose. From One Home to Many: Building a Village of Hope
Picture a young mother, her hands full and her support gone. Maybe she's giving birth, facing surgery, or lost her job. No relatives to watch her little ones. No one to call in the crunch. For most, these moments pile up into isolation, desperation—and sometimes, the heartbreak of seeing their children swept into foster care. Elizabeth's House at My Village Ministries steps in with a different answer. Our vision is a village, not a program: many families rallying to love and support to offer stability to moms and their children. Host families keep kids safe for a couple days if needed. Coaches help moms set and meet their goals. Mentors help school aged kids. The care team meets practical needs—meals, clothes or transportation. And the impact? Profound. Unlike the foster system, where half of children aren't reunited, at Elizabeth's House, every child is welcomed back with open arms by their family, stabilized and supported. We show the love of Christ not by fixing, but by staying close and caring. Listen to the podcast as Kelly Fulcher shares the vision of Elizabeth's House at My Village Ministries with Pastor Smith Sharpe. And discover how you, too, can help—whatever your gifts, however much time you have, even the smallest gesture can mean the world to a mom in crisis. Want to learn more? Freedom, Forgiveness, and a Fallen System
In this episode, we take a hard look at the state of our nation—burdened by debt, divided by politics, and drifting from spiritual truth. We explore how the loss of responsibility leads to the erosion of freedom, and how, in times of conflict, our highest allegiance must be to God, not man. We also dive into the often-misunderstood power of forgiveness—why withholding it can feel just, but is ultimately a trap. Is forgiving someone letting them off the hook? Or is it the first step toward true justice and personal freedom? Let's talk about truth, obedience, and what real strength looks like in a broken world.

99 Problems… But Jesus Went After One
This week we continue a series where all our questions will be based off different scriptures in the Bible. We discuss the Parable of the Lost Sheep in this episode. Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
