Let's talk about showing up with vulnerability. Two weeks ago I put myself in the most vulnerable positions I’ve been in as a Speaker. Let's talk about teaching and storytelling. We are looking for answers. Answers are available to us, everywhere we look. Let's talk about the shame we feel about sharing our stories. So many of the people I talk with are finally coming to a place where they say their story has held them back, they have been ashamed of it, but now they are showing up with all of it! I say, shame no more! (and also, good job!) (and also also, it was always yours to own). When you choose to fully own your story, you realize that there's nothing anyone 'out there' can do to it, or you. First off, what do you even mean by ‘landing’? What do you want your story to DO for your audience? Do you expect an emotional connection?
