Order My Steps: The Christian Journey

Life is a journey of steps—some certain, some uncertain, some guided, and some misdirected. My own journey began in darkness, behind prison walls, a place where hope seemed lost and purpose hidden. But even there, God was at work.I was sentenced to ten years in 2000, served four years in prison, and completed the remainder on parole in 2012. During that time, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It was in prison, in the quiet of my heart, that I first encountered God’s presence. I realized that even in the darkest places, He was ordering my steps. This book is a journey—a roadmap for anyone seeking to walk faithfully with God. Through Scripture, personal testimony, and practical lessons, I want to show you that no step is wasted when God is guiding your life.

    God’s Silence

Send us Fan MailGod feels quiet and that silence starts sounding like rejection. We’ve been there too, and we made this message for the moments when you’ve been praying, waiting, and wondering if heaven is listening. The heart of it is simple but strong: silence doesn’t mean absence, and delay doesn’t mean denial. When God isn’t speaking the way we expect, He can still be present, faithful, and actively working behind the scenes. We open Scripture and sit with the raw honesty of Psalm 13, where David asks God, “How long?” If a worshiper like David faced silent seasons, we don’t have to shame ourselves for struggling. We also lean on God’s promise in Hebrews 13:5 and challenge the habit of measuring God’s presence by our feelings. Then we talk about waiting as spiritual formation, using Isaiah 40:31 to reframe the quiet as a training season where strength is rebuilt and faith gets real.We also explore how God speaks without shouting, pointing to 1 Kings 19 and the still small voice, and we look at John 11 where Jesus delays before coming to Lazarus. What looks like neglect can actually be a setup for something greater than what we asked for. Finally, we look at Jesus and the silence before resurrection as our reminder that quiet is not the end of the story. If you’re walking through a silent season, listen all the way through, share it with someone who needs hope, and subscribe, rate, and review so more people can find encouragement for the Christian journey.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. Winning In Difficult Seasons

Send us Fan MailLife can get loud fast: pressure at work, stress in your finances, trouble in your family, and that quiet fear that you’re spiritually running on empty. When nothing seems to go right, the biggest question is usually the same one: God, why am I going through this? We speak directly to that moment with a faith-filled reminder that your hard season may not be here to break you, it may be here to build you. We ground the message in Scripture and real-life encouragement, starting with the promise that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. If God is ordering your steps, then the delay had purpose, the setback had meaning, and the trial is not wasted. We walk through James 1:2–4 to reframe trials as spiritual training, then challenge the habit of letting a season become your identity. You are not your struggle. You are not your shortage. You are not your worst week. From Romans 8:28 to Isaiah 40:31, we talk about endurance, renewed strength, and the kind of peace that doesn’t make sense on paper. We also hit a hard truth from Galatians 6:9: many people quit too soon, right before the harvest. And when doubt gets loud, we point to Jesus as the proof that what looks like loss can still lead to victory. If you need Christian encouragement, biblical hope, and practical faith for difficult seasons, press play, share it with someone who’s fighting quietly, and then subscribe, rate, and leave a review so more people can find the word when they need it most.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. Built On The Rock

Send us Fan MailWhat if the gap between what you know and what you practice is the fault line under your life? We open the year by slowing down and asking a hard question most of us avoid: what is your life really built on when the wind rises and the rain won’t quit? Drawing from Matthew 7:24–27, we walk through Jesus’ blunt warning that both the wise and the foolish hear, both build, and both face storms—but only one anchors obedience to the rock of Christ. We get honest about modern faith habits that look sturdy but crumble under pressure: bingeing sermons, reposting devotionals, and quoting verses without turning them into lived patterns. Together we name what obedience actually looks like in the wild: forgiving while it still hurts, staying faithful when quitting seems smart, telling the truth when a lie would solve the moment, and submitting your plan when pride is steering. We also tackle correction, surrender, and the uncomfortable truth that sometimes God strips what we built so He can rebuild what will last.If storms are guaranteed, then clarity is freedom. We offer a simple self-exam to find cracks you’ve ignored, rushed projects disguised as progress, and delayed steps you know you need to take. This isn’t condemnation; it’s construction. The hope is fierce and practical: when your foundation is Christ, you stand—not because you’re tough, but because He is. Listen for a calm, clear reset of what it means to build on the rock, and leave with one concrete act of obedience to set in place today. If this speaks to you, tap follow, share it with a friend who’s rebuilding, and leave a review to help others find a steadier foundation.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. What Changes When Christ Lives In You

Send us Fan MailWhat if transformation doesn’t start with trying harder, but with dying to what holds you back? We open Galatians 2:20 and walk through the crucified life—trading ego, old wounds, and control for a Spirit-led way of living that actually sets you free. This is not a call to burnout or denial; it’s an invitation to let Christ’s life move through your ordinary, daily choices. We unpack what “I am crucified with Christ” looks like on Monday morning. You’ll hear why self-improvement stalls without surrender, how to identify the parts of you that need to go to the cross, and a simple confession that re-centers your identity: Christ lives in me. We explore the new creation reality of 2 Corinthians 5:17, naming the lies of shame, fear, and addiction and replacing them with Scripture-shaped truth. Then we get practical about renewing the mind from Romans 12:2, including a doable habit—swap one negative thought each day for a verse-grounded statement—to build resilient, faith-aligned thinking. From there, we draw a sharp line between faith and feelings. Faith obeys when outcomes are unclear, walks forward when it hurts, and surrenders even when it costs something. You’ll get a weekly filter question—Am I choosing faith or feelings?—to anchor decisions at work, at home, and in conflict. Finally, we root everything in love: Christ loved you and gave Himself for you, not only to forgive your sins but to live in you. That love reframes surrender as freedom—freedom from the past, from emotional whiplash, and from the need to control every outcome. If this speaks to you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review so others can find it. Finding Clarity: How To Recognize God’s Voice In A Loud World

Send us Fan MailNoise is everywhere—on our phones, in our calendars, and inside our heads—and it’s quietly stealing clarity. We go straight at distraction as a spiritual strategy, then lay out a clear path for hearing God’s voice with confidence, even when life is loud. Drawing from 1 Kings 19, Psalm 46, John 10, and Isaiah 30, we unpack why God often chooses a whisper and how that changes the way we seek direction. We get practical fast. You’ll learn a simple daily rhythm of stillness that takes just ten minutes, plus a 24-hour “silence the loudest noise” reset to break through confusion and overwhelm. We share a reliable test for guidance—peace over pressure—so you can stop second guessing and start moving with holy confidence. We also explore how busyness can disguise purpose, how emotional noise clouds judgment, and why rushing decisions leads to misalignment. You’ll hear how the Holy Spirit serves as your inner filter, nudging, warning, comforting, and convicting so your steps stay aligned. We offer a short morning prayer to center your heart and a fresh perspective on closed doors and quiet seasons. Sometimes God removes the noise for you to protect and position you; accepting that silence can be the most strategic move you make.If you’re craving direction, craving peace, or just tired of living at the mercy of your notifications, this conversation will help you slow down, lean in, and listen. When God Interrupts Your Plans

Send us Fan MailPlans make us feel safe, but purpose often begins where our plans end. We open up about those moments when God steps in, closes a door you wanted open, and redirects your path in ways that feel disruptive. What if that disruption is not a setback, but a strategic move of grace designed to protect your destiny, reveal what you couldn’t see, and grow your trust? We walk through practical, faith-centered reframes you can use right now: how to interpret closed doors without spiraling, how to surrender control without losing momentum, and how to tell the difference between a good opportunity and a God assignment. We talk candidly about the cycles that keep us small—people pleasing, procrastination, spiritual inconsistency—and why divine interruptions often target those patterns first. Exposure isn’t shame; it’s surgery. God brings wounds, fear, and unfinished healing into the light because what He reveals, He intends to restore. You’ll also hear why trust thrives without full explanations, drawing on Abraham’s example of following God step by step. We offer language and prayer to help you pivot from anxiety to obedience, and from disappointment to realignment. Expect clear takeaways on spiritual dependence, discernment, and the difference between comfortable plans and transformational purpose. If you’ve been asking why a door closed, a relationship shifted, or an opportunity vanished, this conversation will help you see the detour as direction and the interruption as invitation. If the message resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage for their next step, and subscribe to stay encouraged as we keep letting the Lord order our steps. Aligned For Purpose

Send us Fan MailWhat if peace, purpose, and momentum are not missing—they’re merely misaligned? We take a straight path into spiritual alignment with God, showing how agreement, a renewed mind, and daily surrender move you from confusion to clarity and from hurry to holy focus. No fluff, no hype—just a practical framework for walking in God’s will with confidence and calm.We start with agreement that shows up in behavior, not just belief. Drawing from Romans 12:2 and Amos 3:3, we unpack why mindset renewal is the engine of transformation and how old patterns choke new purpose. You’ll hear a candid look at trusting God’s timing and accepting His no without bitterness, recognizing that destiny is unlocked by obedience rather than preference. From there, we trace how submission redirects our energy from controlling outcomes to following steps, freeing us to plan diligently while holding plans loosely. As alignment deepens, clarity takes the lead: anxiety eases, fear shrinks, discernment sharpens, and the Holy Spirit becomes your navigation. We map the chain reaction—aligned thoughts shape wise decisions, habits reinforce calling, and doors open because you’re finally standing in the right place at the right time. The result is a grounded way to pray and live: ask God to renew your mind, to align decisions with His purpose, and to guide you into assignments that fit the gifts He placed in you.If you’re ready to stop drifting and start walking with intention, this conversation offers concrete steps, Scripture anchors, and a closing prayer to help you recalibrate. When Distraction Calls, Answer With “I Cannot Come Down”

Send us Fan MailEver feel like the noise gets louder the moment you start making real progress? We lean into Nehemiah’s resolve—“I am doing a great work, so I cannot come down”—to unpack a practical, faith-filled strategy for finishing what God started in you when distractions, doubt, and drama circle your life.We walk through the core scriptures that anchor perseverance: Nehemiah 6:3 for laser focus, Galatians 6:9 for steady endurance, and Philippians 1:6 for confidence that God completes His work. Along the way, we name the modern equivalents of Sanballat and Tobiah—old habits, strained relationships, temptations, and the craving for approval—and show how they try to pull you off the wall not by defeating you, but by dividing your attention. You’ll hear why resistance often intensifies near breakthrough, how to interpret pressure as proof of progress, and what it looks like to hold your position without apology.More than motivation, we offer a simple renewal practice modeled by Nehemiah: “Lord, strengthen my hands.” Instead of praying for escape, we ask for stamina, clarity, and divine focus. We explore how the Holy Spirit steadies your mind, restores your courage, and empowers you to keep laying bricks—one faithful decision at a time. And we lift your perspective beyond the moment: your obedience is building identity, restoration, and revival that will bless people you may never meet.If you need language for saying no to distractions and yes to your calling, this conversation will meet you where you are and nudge you forward. Walking With Godly Courage In A Fearful World

Send us Fan MailFear loves to say “not yet,” but faith answers with a steady yes. We take a deep dive into Joshua 1:9 to show how real courage is formed—not by hype or personality, but by the presence of God, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the daily choice to obey even when the outcome is unclear. If you’ve felt stuck at the edge of a crossing, facing walls that won’t budge, or avoiding the hard thing you know you’re called to confront, this message is a clear, practical guide to move forward with holy boldness. We explore why courage starts with who goes with you, not what you can do. You’ll hear how the Spirit leads into unfamiliar ground that requires faith rather than comfort, and why strength shows up on the other side of obedience. From Joshua’s steps to parted rivers and fallen walls, we trace a simple pattern: when you move in obedience, God moves in power. Along the way, we offer daily practices to keep your heart steady—short, repeatable prayers for boldness, next-step obedience, and small acts of surrender that build resilient confidence over time.We also focus on the role of Scripture in shaping a courageous mind. Keeping God’s word on your lips renews confidence, anchors emotions, and shuts down the lies that feed fear. You’ll learn how to frame your day in truth—morning, midday, and evening—so fear has no place to land. The result is a grounded, durable courage that faces battles without being ruled by them. If you’re ready to confront what you’ve been avoiding and step into what God has promised, this conversation will help you stand strong, walk forward, and trust that the God who calls you also equips you. God May Not Keep You From The Fire, But He Will Stand In It With You

Send us Fan MailThe furnace is where faith stops being theory. We explored the courage of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to uncover why real strength is built before the crisis and proven in the heat. Instead of chasing quick escapes, we pressed into the paradox: God may not keep us out of the fire, yet He steps into it with us. That shift reframes everything—your hardest seasons can be assignments, not just attacks, and pressure can be preparation for purpose. We walked through the daily habits that form unshakable conviction—prayer, Scripture, and quiet surrender that make obedience possible when culture pushes hard. Then we wrestled with “even if” faith. God is able, but even if He doesn’t move as we expect, we trust Him without conditions. That maturity holds to God’s word over our preferences and releases the demand for immediate outcomes. It transforms our prayers from “get me out” to “get off me everything that should not be on me.”There’s deep hope in the furnace: the fire burns chains, not character. Hidden fear, old habits, and dependence on approval lose their grip when we walk with God in the heat. We highlighted how trials become testimony, how survival becomes influence, and why promotion often follows perseverance. If your life feels like a furnace right now, take heart—look again. You are not alone, and you won’t come out smelling like smoke.Subscribe for more faith-building messages, share this with someone who needs courage today, and leave a review to help others find the show. From Saved To Shaped: Walking Into Spiritual Maturity

Send us Fan MailWhat if spiritual maturity isn’t about having it all together, but about surrendering faster, listening quicker, and repenting sooner? We explore the call from 2 Peter 3:18 to grow in both grace and knowledge—and why these two lanes must run side by side for real transformation.Grace isn’t just a clean slate; it’s power to be formed. We talk through how grace stretches us beyond comfort, builds capacity for love and endurance, and steadies us in valley seasons where character is forged. Then we move into knowledge that goes beyond facts: learning Christ’s voice, turning sermons into practice, and living Scripture when life gets loud. You’ll hear clear markers of maturity—self-control, forgiveness, discipline, and consistency—that show up in quiet choices when nobody is watching. We also center the role of the Holy Spirit as the agent of growth: convicting, correcting, comforting, and empowering us to obey. No one grows by willpower alone. That’s why we hammer home the line that stops many of us in our tracks: information without application is spiritual stagnation. To push past that wall, we map out simple, daily rhythms—prayer, Scripture, obedience, love, resisting temptation, renewing the mind—that build a steady, deep faith. The challenge is practical: pick one command and apply it today. Grow deeper, not louder, and watch God build a stable life that reflects Jesus. If this encouraged you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review to help others find the show. Grace That Pulls You Out And Plants You On Solid Ground

Send us Fan MailEver notice how the hardest enemy to outrun looks a lot like you in the mirror? We went there—into the quiet places where disobedience, old identities, and self-sabotage keep us circling the same pit. Not to condemn, but to tell the truth about grace: God doesn’t just pull you out, He plants your feet on solid ground and teaches you how to walk again. We unpack Psalm 40 and its pattern of redemption—extraction, stabilization, and a new direction—and talk about why surrender is not losing control, but giving control to the One who knows the way out. You’ll hear why real deliverance begins inside before anything changes outside, how shame lies about your future, and what it looks like when God replaces chaos with order, fear with peace, and confusion with clarity. This is practical, heart-level discipleship: the slow miracle of sanctification that protects the quick miracle of rescue.Along the way, we explore how purpose rises from the pit. When God rescues you from yourself, your worship changes; the song in your mouth isn’t performance, it’s testimony. That story can free someone else. We close with a focused prayer for listeners who feel stuck by guilt or past choices, trusting the God whose mercy doesn’t expire and whose hand still reaches low. From Flesh To Spirit: Finding Steady Peace In Daily Battles

Send us Fan MailEver feel the tug-of-war between who you used to be and who God is shaping you to become? We open up about the war within—the pull of the flesh and the call of the Spirit—and why that tension is not a verdict of failure but proof that the Holy Spirit is alive in you. Drawing from Romans 7 and Romans 8, we unpack how conviction signals life, how new desires form, and how surrender turns spiritual theory into everyday transformation. We contrast the loud, impulsive voice of the flesh with the steady leadership of the Spirit, then get practical about discernment: learning to notice which voice is speaking and choosing the way that leads to peace. You’ll hear why behavior modification falls short without inner renewal, how Galatians 5 reframes desire at the heart level, and what shifts when we move from “try harder” to “yield deeper.” A candid personal reflection shows how willpower, even dressed up in discipline, can’t produce holiness—and how a simple prayer of dependence can unlock real change over time.To help you walk this out, we share clear steps: name the battle, feed the Spirit with what you consume, practice confession as realignment, invite the Holy Spirit daily with simple prayers, and lean into fellowship that protects your identity. Identity Precedes Assignment And Unlocks Purpose

Send us Fan MailWhat if the biggest barrier to your calling isn’t skill or opportunity but the name you answer to? We dive into the heart of Christian identity and ask the question that shapes every next step: Who does God say I am?Across this conversation, we trace how the cross doesn’t just cancel debt—it buries old labels. We talk through the difference between believing in God and believing what God says about you, why adoption is received not achieved, and how Romans 8:15 reframes prayer, obedience, and purpose. You’ll hear a candid story from Reverend Corey Young about wrestling with calling, not because God couldn’t use someone like him, but because he doubted God could use him. That turning point—hearing the Spirit whisper, You are who I say you are—becomes a blueprint for confidence rooted in grace, not performance. From David facing Goliath to Moses before Pharaoh, we show why identity precedes assignment and how that truth changes the way we serve, lead, and persevere. We offer practical steps to live renamed: confess Scripture-based affirmations, reject the pull of past labels, and rehearse truth until your reflexes change. You’ll leave with language you can use today—I am a new creation, I am God’s child, I am chosen—and a clear vision for letting identity fuel obedience and unlock purpose. If the enemy can confuse identity, he can disrupt destiny; but a believer secure in Christ becomes steady, joyful, and hard to shake.Ready to trade shame for a new name and walk boldly as a son or daughter of the King? Obedience Turns Information Into Transformation

Send us Fan MailWhen does spiritual growth actually happen—when we hear the truth or when we live it? We open up a candid, practical journey from information to transformation, showing how obedience turns inspiration into change you can feel in your mind, your habits, and your relationships. We start by reframing spiritual progress: hearing God’s word is a seed, but doing the word is the harvest. That’s why love shows up as obedience, not just emotion. Drawing from John 14:21, we unpack the uneasy truth that knowledge without action breeds self-deception. You can memorize Scripture and still miss Jesus if your daily choices don’t align with what He’s already spoken. So we move from theory to practice with a clear challenge—pick one spiritual discipline and do it consistently. Read Scripture to renew your mind. Pray to stay connected to the vine. Worship to align your heart with heaven. Serve to turn faith outward. Small steps, done daily, build holy habits that last.We also share real-life moments when application cost something: forgiving people we would rather resent, trusting God when resources ran low, and surrendering plans that felt safe. Those choices didn’t change everything overnight, but they planted deep roots. And none of it happens in our own strength. The Holy Spirit teaches, corrects, reminds, and empowers us to live what we learn. A simple daily prayer—Holy Spirit, help me live what I learned today—can shift your responses, decisions, and outlook. Your future doesn’t hinge on the next big revelation; it turns on what you do with what God has already revealed.Ready to move from listening to living? Fuel For A Changed Life

Send us Fan MailYou can feel it when willpower runs out. The engine sputters, the resolve fades, and the old patterns creep back in. Today we get honest about why true change in the Christian life isn’t about trying harder, but about surrendering deeper to the Holy Spirit—our Helper, our guide, and the power that keeps us free when the feelings fade.We walk through the difference between a quick escape and sustained freedom, anchoring it in Acts 1:8 and the daily choices that reveal power in ordinary moments: saying no in secret, choosing peace in chaos, enduring trials without bitterness. We talk about ordered steps—how the Spirit says go, wait, or no to protect what God is building—and why asking a simple question before acting can save you from wrong rooms and wrong alliances. You’ll hear how desire itself changes under the Spirit’s work: old cravings lose their pull while new longings grow, shifting our appetite from what drains us to what gives life, just as Galatians 5:16 promises. There’s a personal turn too: running from calling, trying to muscle through, and then finding clarity and strength when surrender moved from behavior to the heart. Along the way, we remember Romans 8:26—how the Spirit meets us in weakness, prays through our groans, and comforts when nothing else reaches the ache. If you’ve been feeling saved but still stuck, this conversation offers a path that is simple, honest, and doable: ask for power to be kept free, for steps to be ordered, and for desires to be remade from the inside out.If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review. From Escape To Transformation: How True Deliverance Changes Your Life

Send us Fan MailWhat if deliverance isn’t about leaving your past, but about letting God remove your past from you? We open a candid, hope-filled exploration of freedom that lasts—moving beyond emotional highs and into the daily, Spirit-led process that transforms the heart, retrains the mind, and redirects desire toward purpose. We start by untangling a common trap: mistaking a moment of relief for true spiritual change. Through the lens of Israel’s journey, we show how God can change your location in a night but spend years renewing your mindset. You’ll hear how cooperation with the Holy Spirit turns conviction into growth, why Lazarus being raised yet still bound matters for modern discipleship, and how refusing to release old ties keeps us from walking into new life. Instead of settling for a temporary escape, we lean into practices that build durable freedom: surrender, Scripture, community, and consistent obedience.A key theme threads through every segment: deliverance that isn’t followed by discipleship often leads to relapse. Jesus warned about the danger of an empty house; we respond by inviting God to fill us with His Spirit, Truth, and purpose so there’s no room for what once controlled us. This conversation is tender and direct, including a personal reflection on hidden battles and the moment surrender made freedom real. If you’re ready to move from crisis to calling, from breaking chains to learning how to walk without them, this message will give you language, steps, and hope.If this encouraged you, subscribe for more messages, share it with a friend who needs it, and leave a review to help others find this show.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. Living Proof: How Your Story Reflects God’s Light

Send us Fan MailEver felt like your glow faded as soon as life got loud? We go straight at that feeling with a simple truth: you don’t manufacture light, you receive it—and then you reflect it where darkness tries to settle. Drawing from John 8:12 and the image of the moon reflecting the sun, we unpack how staying connected to Jesus through prayer, worship, and the word keeps your life bright when reputation and success run out of batteries. We explore why a rescued life isn’t a private trophy but a public lighthouse. Your testimony isn’t a performance piece; it’s proof that mercy is still at work. When you practice patience in a storm, choose forgiveness when it hurts, or carry joy into trials, people don’t see your polish—they see God’s power. We talk about fear of judgment and the urge to dim our story, and offer simple ways to speak honestly without glorifying the past. Light doesn’t brag, it reveals and heals: peace enters chaos, hope replaces fear, and wounds begin to mend when someone who is connected to the source steps into the room. You’ll hear practical guidance on guarding your glow—quiet disciplines that turn into visible fruit—and a challenge to stop apologizing for being redeemed. We highlight how consistency can preach louder than credentials, how character under pressure becomes an unforgettable sermon, and how small acts of love can become someone’s turning point. The aim isn’t applause; it’s to direct attention to the Father who still saves, heals, and restores. If this message lifts you up, pass it on to someone who needs a spark of hope. Running With Purpose

Send us Fan MailEver tried to outrun a calling that kept catching up? We open up about the fear, detours, and excuses that make us sprint in circles—and the grace that meets us with a second chance. Using Jonah’s story as a compass, we trace a path from flight to faith, showing how obedience, not perfection, turns scattered motion into a clear mission. You’ll hear why availability beats polish, how purpose reframes failure, and what changes when you stop chasing validation and start chasing vision. We get personal about the years spent running after money, comfort, and recognition, and the quiet moment of surrender that turned exhaustion into fuel. Jonah didn’t get it right the first time—and neither did we. Yet the word came a second time. That same invitation is alive for anyone who feels disqualified or late: get back up and run again. We unpack practical steps for acting before you feel ready, trusting God with the outcome, and letting small, faithful moves open doors that talent alone never could. Expect clear guidance, honest reflection, and encouragement sturdy enough for a hard week.By the end, you’ll have language for the shift from approval to assignment, courage to say yes to the next step, and a renewed belief that your scars, story, and willingness can reach further than you imagine. What if letting go is how God opens the next door?

Send us Fan MailWhat if the peace you’re praying for is waiting on the forgiveness you’ve been postponing? Reverend Corey Young takes us into the hard, honest work of letting go—why it’s commanded in scripture, how it frees the heart, and what it looks like to release someone without rewriting the past. We ground the conversation in Ephesians 4:31–32 and Matthew 6:14–15, unpacking the difference between ignoring pain and surrendering it to God. Along the way, we break down a simple practice—write the name, speak the release, and ask for peace—that helps you move from rehearsing the hurt to living unchained. We also draw strength from Joseph’s story, where betrayal and injustice meet a larger purpose. “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good” becomes more than a famous line; it becomes a lens for reframing your own wounds, protecting your heart from bitterness, and keeping purpose intact. Expect a clear look at how unforgiveness blocks prayer, clouds peace, and creates static in your spiritual signal—and how choosing to forgive opens heaven’s clarity again. You’ll hear a heartfelt prayer, a bold affirmation of freedom in Christ, and practical language for releasing the anger without neglecting wise boundaries. If you’ve felt distant from God, heavy in worship, or stuck replaying what happened, this conversation offers a path forward: forgive as you’ve been forgiven, honor your story, and let God hold the justice. Growing Through Trials: Faith, Endurance, and the God Who Refines Us

Send us Fan MailWhat if the valley is the very place you grow strongest? We open the door on trials most of us hope to avoid and reframe them as sacred training grounds where God refines character, strengthens endurance, and roots faith so deep that storms can’t shake it.Guided by James 1:2–4 and Romans 8:28, we trace how testing moves belief from theory to trust, why endurance is spiritual muscle you only gain through resistance, and how God’s presence is steady whether you’re in the pit or the palace. Joseph’s detours become a living map for anyone navigating delays, betrayals, or closed doors, showing that the route to maturity often runs through pressure. We talk about the difference between conditional faith and consistent faith, practical rhythms that keep you rooted—prayer, Scripture, worship—and the surprising ways praise can rise even when tears don’t stop. You’ll hear clear, memorable lines to carry into your week—pressed but not crushed, stretched but not broken—plus a closing prayer that asks for strength to endure, wisdom to learn, and peace in the middle, not just at the end. If you’re facing a storm, this conversation offers more than comfort; it offers a framework to see purpose, build resilience, and trust that your steps are still ordered by the Lord. Called On Purpose

Send us Fan MailFreedom is only the beginning; purpose gives it direction. We open up a candid, hope-filled look at how to move from wandering to walking with intention by rooting identity and calling in God’s design, not in constant self-chasing. Drawing from Jeremiah 29:11 and the life of Moses, we unpack why purpose starts with the One who made you and grows as you learn His voice, choose obedience over urgency, and serve people over pursuing platforms.Across this heartfelt conversation, we break down the shift from “What do I want?” to “Lord, what did You make me to do?” and show how that single pivot replaces pressure with peace. You’ll hear how relationship clarifies assignment—through prayer, worship, and Scripture—and why detours and delays don’t disqualify your calling. We dig into the practical: listening for God’s guidance in daily decisions, resisting the pull to chase every opportunity, and embracing service as the core of a life well-lived. With Jesus’ model of servant leadership front and center, we explore how titles fade but transformation lasts, how ordinary people become conduits of extraordinary grace, and how small acts—encouragement, kindness, presence—can echo with eternal impact. We close with a bold declaration to live with intention and a prayer for alignment, courage, and fresh fire. Walking Free: From Chains to Choice with Rev. Cory Young

Send us Fan MailFreedom isn’t a finish line we crawl toward; it’s an open door we’re invited to walk through today. Reverend Corey Young unpacks the gap so many believers feel—saved yet still stuck—and shows why the gospel declares freedom as a present reality, not a future prize. We confront the familiar chains of guilt, fear, addiction, and the past, and then reframe the fight: you don’t fight for freedom—you fight from it.We ground that truth in Scripture, tracing how Romans 6:14 shifts our footing from law to grace and how Galatians 5:16 gives us a daily roadmap for Spirit-led living. Rather than white-knuckling change, we learn to pause, pray, and let the Holy Spirit answer temptation. This is where the practical work happens—small choices that add up to a new way of life: responding instead of reacting, surrendering instead of controlling, declaring truth instead of echoing lies. Along the way, we replace perfectionism with progress and stop mistaking rattling chains for unbroken ones. You’ll hear language you can use when doubt hits, questions that expose the habits keeping you stuck, and a simple rhythm for walking free moment by moment. We close with a focused prayer over guilt, shame, and addiction, and a clear charge to lift your head, square your shoulders, and live the freedom Christ already purchased. From Thought Patterns to Peace: Renewing the Mind Through Christ

Send us Fan MailThe fiercest battles are often quiet—the ones fought in our thoughts before a word is spoken or a step is taken. Today we unpack how God renovates the inner life, turning a cluttered, creaking mental space into a home fit for peace, purpose, and joy. We start with a simple but disruptive idea: your mind is the workshop where transformation is built, not a storage unit for fear, shame, and comparison. From there, we walk through the “house remodel” of the soul, naming what needs to be hauled to the curb and what truth must be installed to hold the weight of real life.We dig into the seed-and-harvest principle of thought life—what you feed grows—and get practical about curating inputs. Social feeds, music, and conversations either nudge you closer to Christ or pull you away, so we show how to guard your mental diet without becoming rigid or fearful. You’ll hear a simple daily rhythm to start your mornings with Scripture, respond to intrusive thoughts by taking them captive, and replace stale narratives with God’s promises. Along the way, we lean on Philippians 4:8 and 2 Corinthians 10:5 to anchor the practice of renewal in truth, not trend. This conversation aims at a deeper shift than positive thinking; it’s about Christ-centered living that reshapes identity and decisions. When your mind changes, your life changes—your walk, your talk, and your choices start matching the new life you’ve received. Through vivid analogies and Scripture-based insight, we unpack why the “old self” feels like a backpack of bricks and how to set it down so you can finally run your race with clarity and purpose. We walk through the core moves of real change: identifying the specific weights that slow you down—guilt, shame, toxic relationships, numbing habits—and surrendering them with practical actions you can take today. Then we dig into renewing your mind, because transformation sticks when your inner script changes. You’ll hear simple ways to curate what you read, watch, and listen to, and how daily time in God’s word rewires thinking, restores hope, and reframes identity. Instead of living in rewind, we invite you to hit play—honoring lessons from the past without letting them call the shots.Along the way, we highlight a forward-focused vision rooted in Philippians 3: choosing direction over denial, courage over comfort, and purpose over patterns. If you’ve wrestled with the tension of wanting new results but defaulting to old reflexes, this conversation offers both grace and a game plan: guard your inputs, name your burdens, set boundaries, and take one brave step at a time. Divine GPS: When God Already Knows Your Destination

Send us Fan MailFear of the unknown can paralyze us, keeping us stuck between yesterday's memories and tomorrow's uncertainties. But what if God is already in your future, preparing the way?Throughout our "Order My Steps" series, we've journeyed through seasons of fear, waiting, battles, and grief. Now we conclude with a powerful truth that changes everything: the God who carried you through yesterday and sustains you today is already waiting for you in tomorrow. When anxiety about the future threatens to overwhelm you, remember Jeremiah 29:11 wasn't just for the Israelites in exile—it's for you too. God knows the plans He has for you, plans for hope and a future. Your job isn't to figure everything out; your job is to trust the One who already has.Jesus taught us to live one day at a time, receiving each day's provision like manna in the wilderness. Worry is simply paying interest on a loan you haven't even borrowed yet! Instead of trying to control the next decade, what if we approached each morning with the simple prayer: "Lord, give me today's strength. I trust you'll handle tomorrow"? This daily dependence builds unshakable faith.Perhaps most comforting is the promise from Philippians 1:6 that God will finish what He started in you. Your future isn't dependent on luck, credentials, or even avoiding mistakes—it's secured in God's faithfulness. When doubts rise, declare with confidence: "God is not finished with me yet." The Author of your story is faithful to complete it. Hope Anchors the Soul: Navigating Grief with Faith

Send us Fan MailGrief arrives uninvited, shaking foundations and raising painful questions about God's presence in our darkest moments. Where is God when loss overwhelms us? Why would He allow such pain? Can broken hearts ever truly heal?Drawing from the wisdom of Scripture and personal experience, this episode gently explores the spiritual journey through grief and loss. We discover that contrary to what our pain tells us, God doesn't step away when our hearts break—He draws closer. Psalm 34:18 reminds us "the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart," offering not a quick fix but His profound presence. Like David who faced devastating losses yet still proclaimed "the Lord is my shepherd," we too can find God's sustaining grace in our grief. The shortest verse in the Bible, "Jesus wept," reveals something powerful about our Savior. Standing at Lazarus' tomb, knowing resurrection was moments away, Jesus still paused to share in Mary and Martha's grief. This tells us everything about God's heart toward our pain—He doesn't rush us through it but sits with us in it. Your tears are not wasted; they're noticed and shared by the One who wept Himself. For anyone feeling misunderstood in their loss, remember Jesus truly comprehends your heartache. While grief feels eternal when we're in its grip, Revelation 21:4 promises a day when God "will wipe away every tear." This doesn't minimize our present sorrow but places it within eternity's context. Christians "do not grieve like those who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13)—not because we don't grieve, but because our grief is illuminated by resurrection hope. Trusting God through loss doesn't mean the absence of tears; it means those tears fall into the hands of the One who catches every drop and promises to one day make all things new.Has this message touched your heart? Share it with someone walking through a season of loss. Remember, grief may be heavy, but you never carry it alone—and God's comfort is always greater than your grief.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. Finding God in Loneliness

Send us Fan MailLoneliness sneaks up in the most unexpected moments. It's that ache you feel not just when you're physically alone, but even when surrounded by others who simply don't understand what you're going through. This raw human experience connects us all, yet feels deeply isolating when we're in its grip. What if the key to navigating loneliness isn't finding more people, but recognizing a presence that never leaves? Reverend Corey Young delves into this powerful truth: "God's presence is greater than people's absence." Drawing from biblical examples like Joseph, whose brothers betrayed him yet found God with him in a prison cell, and Elijah, who heard God's whisper in his darkest moment of isolation, we discover how divine companionship transforms our lonely seasons. The most profound revelation might be this: brokenheartedness doesn't push God away—it actually draws Him closer. While our natural instinct is to numb loneliness with distractions, there's a better path. When we invite God into our silence rather than filling it with noise, we experience the reality behind Christ's promise: "I am with you always." This isn't just spiritual comfort; it's practical strength for everyday living. As the Apostle Paul testified when abandoned by everyone at his trial: "The Lord stood at my side and gave me strength." Your feelings may tell you you're forgotten, but faith tells your feelings the truth: you are seen, held, and deeply loved, even in your most isolated moments. Take this truth with you—you are never truly alone.Share this message with someone walking through loneliness today. Trusting God When Your Body Fails: Finding Hope in Sickness

Send us Fan MailHave you ever felt your faith wavering when faced with a devastating diagnosis or chronic illness? That moment when medical reports seem to speak louder than God's promises?Trusting God through health battles represents one of the most profound challenges to our faith. When physical suffering becomes our daily companion, maintaining spiritual confidence feels nearly impossible. Yet it's precisely in these moments of weakness that God's character as Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals—shines brightest. This episode explores the multifaceted nature of divine healing. Sometimes healing arrives instantly, sometimes through medical intervention and recovery, and sometimes eternally when believers receive new bodies that will never suffer again. The crucial question isn't which form our healing will take, but whether we trust the Healer regardless of the outcome. We dive deep into Isaiah 53:5, unpacking how Jesus not only bore our sins but also our sicknesses at the cross. This truth allows us to declare "By His stripes I am healed" even while symptoms persist. Like Paul with his thorn in the flesh, we learn that sometimes God's answer isn't removal of suffering but rather, "My grace is sufficient." Your weakness becomes the very stage where God's strength performs its most compelling work.Whether you're waiting for test results or walking alongside a loved one through their health journey, this message offers biblical encouragement to keep trusting, keep worshipping, and keep believing. When Fear Meets Faith: Finding Strength in God's Promises

Send us Fan MailFear creeps in when we're most vulnerable—in the stillness of night, in the doctor's office, in moments of uncertainty. But what happens when that fear collides with genuine faith? This powerful exploration of "When Fear Meets Faith" offers life-changing perspectives on conquering anxiety through spiritual strength.Drawing from 2 Timothy 1:7, we unpack how God hasn't given us fear, but rather power, love, and a sound mind. Fear functions as the enemy's counterfeit—it pretends to be wisdom while actually paralyzing us, magnifying problems while diminishing our view of God's capability. Through biblical examples like Peter walking on water, we see how keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus rather than the storm makes all the difference between sinking and supernatural victory. The episode delves deep into how perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and why understanding the depth of God's love for us creates an unshakable foundation. When we truly grasp that the God who sent Jesus to the cross for us will certainly walk with us through any storm, our perspective fundamentally shifts. Through practical declarations, powerful scriptural insights, and a moving closing prayer, you'll discover how to stand tall when fear rises and confidently declare, "I will not fear because my God is with me." If you're battling anxiety, uncertainty, or doubt, this message will empower you to choose faith over fear in every circumstance of your life.Support the show“Order My Steps: The Christian Journey”Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Order My Steps: The Christian Journey. God doesn't keep you from the fire; He walks with you through it.

Send us Fan MailWhen life feels smooth, trusting God seems simple. But what happens when storms appear, prayers go unanswered, and pain persists? That's when trust transforms from mere words into your essential lifeline. We're diving deep into what genuine trust looks like when tested by fire. Anyone can celebrate God's goodness during seasons of blessing, but authentic faith emerges in the furnace of affliction. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego facing the flames, real trust declares "our God is able to deliver us, but even if He does not, we will still not bow." This powerful stance doesn't depend on favorable outcomes but remains anchored in God's character regardless of circumstances.Contrary to popular belief, trusting God isn't about increased spiritual effort or maintaining perfect control. Jesus demonstrated in Gethsemane that true trust means surrender – "not my will but yours be done." This surrender unlocks divine strength precisely when we acknowledge our weakness. As Paul discovered, "When I am weak, then I am strong" because human inadequacy creates space for supernatural power. The promise of Isaiah 41:10 becomes tangible: "I will make you strong and help you. I will hold you safe in my hands."Every day presents a choice between trusting yourself, your circumstances, or your Savior. Only one remains unshakable. If you're feeling overwhelmed, remember that God hasn't abandoned you. The same faithful God who carried you through yesterday holds you today and tomorrow. Plant your feet, lift your head, and declare your trust – even here, even now. God Rewards Those Who Seek Him With Their Whole Heart

Send us Fan MailThe power of seeking God isn't just in the act itself, but in how we seek Him. Are you a casual seeker who prays when convenient, or a diligent seeker who rearranges life to make space for divine encounter? This distinction makes all the difference in your spiritual journey.Diving into Hebrews 11:6, we explore the profound promise that God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Not half-heartedly, not occasionally, but diligently—with persistence and passion. This truth echoes throughout Scripture, particularly in Jeremiah 29:13, where God promises we'll find Him when we seek with our whole hearts. Like a miner who doesn't stop digging after the first few shovels, diligent seeking requires persistence that pushes past surface-level spirituality.Hannah's story from 1 Samuel provides a powerful example of diligent seeking in action. Her persistent prayers—so intense that Eli thought she was drunk—moved God's heart and resulted in the birth of Samuel, whose life transformed a nation. Her example teaches us that diligent seeking involves consistent prayer, depth in God's Word, strategic fasting, pushing past feelings, and pursuing God's presence rather than just His blessings. When we approach God with this level of intentionality, we don't just draw closer to Him—we position ourselves to receive His promises in unprecedented ways.Ready to transform your relationship with God? ABOUT THIS SHOW
