And today, Brad will talk about his time as a summer camp counselor, and as a school teacher. 15. People Reviewed Summer Camps — Program Coordinator, Good Camp Counselor Traits, Patenting Listening and Learning — Pine Springs, PA w/ Dan D.

Today on People Reviewed, we have guests from summer camps. We are back at my summer camp, Pine Springs, and are interviewing the core team members of this summer (Which narrows it down to everybody!). Today, we have Ellie Herrle, who talks about program coordination with Dan and I. Program coordinators are one of the "faces" of camp, in the idea that they greet you at every meal, every campfire, and every camp get together. They mold the activities, skits, music, and theme of each year, and they have an assistant to help you do just that. Each program coordinator I have talked to will talk about this idea that camp for them was shaped by the last, and it is a challenge to put your own spin on camp without falling back on to the last year's coordinator.   Let's listen to Ellie review summer camps.

    13. People Reviewed Music — Professional Bird Rider, Injuries, and Virtual Reality Millionaire — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Today on People Reviewed, we have a man that we see cruising down the Beltline riding a bird scooter sitting down. He passed by a few times, before we waved him down and asked him about his experience with music, bird scooters, and general research questions we made when looking at scientific journals. He opened up about his dating profile, where he would post multiple videos of him doing stunts. We talk about different injuries we've experienced, and we end the podcast learning that he is retired after selling a VR company he made with his friends. Hop on the podcast and listen to us review our final interview about music.

    11. People Reviewed Music — Metal Band Genres, My friend B.o.B., and Science Figured out Music (It’s not microtones) — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H. Ft. Se’nam Palmer and Laura Beach

We were on the Beltline looking for guests to talk about music, and two musicians walked by, Laura Beach and Se’nam Palmer! Laura begins by talking about her two bands Helianthus which is the genre Triumphant Melodic Black Metal — @Helianthusmetal — @lavra.beach / @elanti_percussion / @robertbrucepollard / @matthew_flori0 / @hellskald (All of these tags are for Instagram) And Feminazgul, which is Avant-Garde Atmospheric Black Metal — @feminazgultheband. They are three artists that enjoy a good Lord of the Rings reference. @margaretkilljoy / @lavra.beach / @meryayanos Laura gives a shout out to @haeuncreative which is the designer of the Helianthus band’s logo. Se’nam Palmer also begins to share about the genre his band developed called Shredgaze. It is all the elements of shred guitar, all the widdly diddlies (his words exactly), sweep picks, and eventually plan on including more was pedal as they are heavy into the guitar pedal scene. His band Crispin Wah @Crispinwahmusic with Wah as in wah pedal. He dives into the Pro Wrestling and Heavy Metal community. He talks about playing with the band Wednesday Night Titans, with the bassist Kevin Scott, who he says is “The Guy” when it comes to bass. Se’nam goes on to say that Kevin and the band recently began playing with Gov’t Mule @govtmule The podcast host Nic, and his co-host Jake learn so much about this genre’s scene that they have not had the experience of learning about previously. The Wednesday Night Titans get the Wednesday night fighters old wrestling interviews, and the drummer Zach Danziger @ZachDanziger uses MIDI inputs to make music out of these videos using his drums which are linked to the MIDI inputs.  Zach does a deep dive into Wrangling MIDI in his ten year old TEDx Talk with Owen Biddle @Owenbiddle for the band Mister Barrington. Through our conversation that connects everybody previously, we move on to Andy Williams, part of the band that was called Every Time I Die, and who is now an AEW Wrestler, who showed Chris Jericho Crispin Wah, and from what I was told, Chris said the music of the genre Shredgaze was cool and chill. Crispin Wah recently played with Challenger Deep @challengerdeepdude in July at The Earl in East Atlanta, and in August with Amos Rifkin at the production company A Rippin’s 9th Anniversary party @ARippinProduction Se’nam goes on to talk about his experience with the rapper B.o.B. Between talking about his playing with B.o.B., cinematic scores, and weird medical conditions that can affect the body’s singing ability, we thank our guests for being on, and talking for so long about how music was a part of their lives.

    10. People Reviewed Music — Spring/Fall/Vibes Playlist, Horribly Unorganized Music, Tone Deaf in Highschool — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Welcome to the People Reviewed Podcast with me, Nic, and a guest friend of mine as the co-host. Jake is returning again to be on my series of interviews about music. These interviews happened on June 15, again, on the Atlanta Beltline Trail. Today we have a woman and a man on to discuss how music has shaped parts of their lives, their respective instruments, and discussed topics like injuries to musicians. I myself play an instrument, but not nearly as much as it would take to cause an injury (But maybe I just have amazing form, which would be highly unlikely).

    9. People Reviewed Identity — Iggy Pop, Gerald Caplan’s Crisis Theory, and Coal Mining in America — Original Pilot Episodes in Atlanta, Georgia

This episode is the last episode of a five-part series of my first night reviewing people in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Park on May 21st, 2023. I meet my last guest of the night Samir. We discuss parts of identity and how they relate to us, limits we use to ensure our bodies are rested, and Gerald Caplan's life crises theory. We also discuss coal mining, music, and (in the very beginning) hospitals. I worked for four months in Atlanta Georgia at Grady Memorial as a trauma nurse and it was a joy-filling job. It is a level 1 trauma center in the middle of downtown and due to it being an inner city hospital, combined with having more uninsured patients than average, it has a social reputation of not being as "prestigious" in Atlanta compared to other hospitals. From my time there, and working at other hospitals in Atlanta, I must say that Grady's trauma program has been there for the city in a major way, because if you are in need of a level 1 trauma center in the Atlanta region there are none other than Grady ever since AMC Wellstar closed down. The next closest are in Savannah, Macon, and Augusta, and we pride ourselves on our outcomes with gun shots, spinal cord injuries, and motor vehicle accidents.

    8. People Reviewed Identity — Gone International, Facebook Friends, and Uber Scooters — Original Pilot Episodes in Atlanta, Georgia

This episode is third of a four-part series of my first night reviewing people in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Park on May 21st, 2023. I meet my first international guest from China that is visiting America with his wife to see his daughter graduate. It was very hard to communicate, as our only common language was English as my Chinese is very subpar. We worked it out by using the simple phrases that we knew, and surprisingly I became his first Facebook friend by the end of the night.

    7. People Reviewed Identity — The Huxtables, a 24/7 Parking Lot Attendant, and Proper Body Mechanics, — The Original Pilot Episodes in Atlanta, GA

This episode is the second of a four-part series of my first night reviewing people in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Park on May 21st, 2023. I talk about my job, some new breathing mechanics I have been working on, and about welding with my new guest that I had on. My second guest is a man named Vincent who has been living on the street for the last 20 years, following a series of changes in his life. He used to be a welder on the railroad and talks a lot about his past and the last two years of the present, as he was able to find work as a parking lot attendant due to the generosity of the owner.

    6. People Reviewed Identity — Living on the Street, Passing By Syndrome, Resources — Original Pilot Episodes in Atlanta, GA

Welcome to the pilot episodes of People Reviewed. This was a series of episodes where I went out by myself without a co-host to interview people. This episode is the first of a four-part series of my first night reviewing people in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Park on May 21st, 2023. I will talk about the nervousness I experience, and you will hear the shaking in my voice from trying to invite people over to my table to talk in exchange for two dollars that I offer to everyone. My first guest (ever) is a man named Brian who talks about what living on the streets, after the passing of a family member, is like. The struggles he has had have been unfortunate as he waits on temporary housing, and the resources that there are for people who consider themselves homeless, unhoused, or between residences.

    5. People Reviewed Identity — Medical Residency, Chilled Groceries, and Living on Ten Grand a Year — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

This is People Reviewed with Nic and Jake. After weeks of our podcast topic being identity, this is the coup de grace to end the identity series. In this episode, we have on a medical resident doctor who Nic works with, that joins the podcast after running by on The Beltline. After meeting him for the first time, we expand beyond out medical roles to explore life crises, the pursuit of financial happiness, and even a shared interest in the refreshing and often polarizing topic of La Croix water. As healthcare professionals, we witness firsthand the fragility of life, and our discussion will touch upon how these experiences have shaped our views on living life to the fullest. This is the last week with subpar audio due to technical difficulties!

    4. People Reviewed Identity — A Couple That Paused Their Date to Join the Podcast, Shouting out Kendrick’s Baby, and the San Francisco/Atlanta Worker Exchange Program — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Welcome back to People Reviewed with Nic and Jake currently. We are in the endgame for the topic of Identity. With Identity today, we have a couple who paused mid date to join the review. We discussed living in big cities, hard topics, soft topics, after enough big talk we went back to small talk. Today, we have on Aj. This is the second episode where we used the combination of a phone microphone and adobe AI to fix the podcast after the memory card on my Zoom H6 filled up with pointless blathering of two men and their insightful guests. It sounds very good though for the high wind and background noise.

    3. People Reviewed Identity — Ask/Guess Culture, Misperceptions, and College Freshmen — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Welcome back to People Reviewed. If I was any line, I would be the Atlanta Beltline. Not out of choice, I just don't know any other lines, so if you think this is a joke, then I guess you would be upset when there's no punch line. Today on this episode we talk about identity (for the 8th time in a row) and we are reaching the end of episodes on identity. Up next, we have music, summer camps, baseball, and the beach! Today, we have on Simone, and Tay. Two freshmen that just finished their first year of college! Sadly, halfway through the episode, my SD card became full of data, and because I didn't know that .WAV files were so large, I could not get the full interview. This is a small episode with a recap at the end, but we discuss guess/ask culture, who do we depend on, misperceptions, and more!

    2. People Reviewed Identity — Revoking Read Receipt Privileges, Morning (Healthy) Pregaming, and a Podcast Fit For a King — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Welcome back to People Reviewed. If this Atlanta Beltline series was a tv show this would be season 2 where we have the special guest star Jake receive applause for appearing on the show. Today on the podcast we will talk about healthy routines and setting boundaries which are important and I feel we either learn early in life, or late in life. My favorite boundary to set is read receipt privileges. My closest friends will have them turned on to let them know I read them, but there have been times I have had to rebuke those (in a joyful way) who believe I am "leaving them on read". I will always return a response that is needed, but I will do so in my time (I do have 900+ notifications on my phone, but I still check every one coming in to see if it needs a response. Kind of like a fun tally game.). Today we have on King, a person who waited to be on the podcast because she wanted this year to be more intentional and direct. She loves to learn languages, and she takes time out of the week to volunteer with international people.

    1. People Reviewed Identity — Guest from Jay’s Birthday Party, The Beltline, and Lost Wallet Vibe Checks — Atlanta, GA w/ Jake H.

Episode 6 of People Reviewed is the first episode to feature a co-host, and the beginning of the last recorded episodes on the weekly (For four weeks in a row) topic of Identity. My good friend Jake and I plopped down on the side of the Georgia Beltline and invited people on and gave each guest five dollars. My first guest is unexpectedly a person I met at "Jay's Birthday Party", and it wasn't until the podcast ended that I realized he must've meant Tony P's Birthday party as that was the first and only Atlanta birthday I celebrated that year. It is not the first time that someone's mistaken me for another person as I guess I have a very average face, and we have him on as I pay for his electric bike rental.

    People Reviewed Theme Song

Here is the theme song to People Reviewed. Written by myself, Nic Burgess, and not produced by me, Sam Swinnerton. The idea behind the theme song is that each guest has their own ideas, their own reasons they get into their careers, and hobbies, and interests. I realized that the people I meet everyday are usually directly from my circles of friends, coworkers, and family, and I wanted to go out to hear from people I would have never met otherwise!
