Virtually everyone is parenting someone. Your own actual children, your grown children, your grand children, your aging parents, your co-workers, yourself… People aren’t perfect therefore parents aren’t perfect and we often find ourselves “catch-up parenting”. It’s a perpetual process.

Part 7 - My Way Or The Highway
Life is constantly changing. Our abilities are always shifting. As we age, it is imperative that we learn to be dynamic in our interactions and our expectations of the younger generations. What used to be true in our lives may not be true today. The way you know of doing things may no longer be the best way. Part of parenting is knowing when to learn from the younger generations and when get out of the way.

Part 1 - An Introduction
Proverbs 22:6 says: “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” This series is all about bridging the gap between the parents we had, and the parent we needed. It’s also about learning how to bridge that gap for others. This message lays the foundation for our series by looking at the story of the prodigal son, and what side of the Father’s fence we stand on.
