This sad episode in Lot’s life shows us the conceit, compromise, and consequence of sin. Yet the grace of the Gospel can shine through even in the darkest of circumstances.

Genesis 19:1–29 records God’s judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah for their wickedness, revealing his holiness and justice. This account warns that a final day of judgment is coming for the whole world. Deliverance on that day is found only through the Lord Jesus Christ.
