    Better Influence

Our culture often invites us to rest from our work through excess and indulgences. Let's shift the paradigm and broaden our perspective. Might we instead seek the real rest and perfect peace found in Jesus Christ instead, where we align ourselves with His will for our lives and find true balance between our mental, emotional and physical health. Let's go back to His original design where homeostasis 'the self-regulating process by which biological systems maintain stability while adjusting to optimal conditions for survival' is found. A place where our mind, body and spirit fortify so that disease becomes ease, feelings can be felt, trauma can be processed, and joy can begin overflowing with abundance from its source. —Guest Dawn Spain - Certified Practical Homeopath (PHOM) www.dawnspain.com—Scriptures referenced:Romans 12:15Revelation 22:12-13

    Who Do You Serve

In honor of Memorial Day and those who serve in defense of our nation, we are raising a red flag of warning to start a conversation we hope spreads like wildfire, about the prescription medication crisis that is leading many to deeper and darker places than ever before, including veteran suicide. My husband John joins me to discuss the problem with using meds (and other substances) to fix what isn't really broken. It's past time to acknowledge that a mind, body and spirit approach to healing and reorganizing from the aftermath of war is what we need. Our veterans can lead the way for the rest of our nation to address this national security crisis underway, but it starts here with recognition that the unseen enemy is attacking us from the inside. We are drawing the battle lines and declaring that when we serve Christ, He fights for us.—We are supporting www.hbot4heroes.org - Healing Veterans, One Breath at a time. Join us in our quest to heal minds and save lives. Together, we can bring light to those who are walking through the darkest paths for our country. Your support can turn the tide in this crucial battle against TBI and PTSD, bringing healing and hope to our nation’s heroes.

    Cheers to Freedom

February 29th! It's leap year - an event that only happens every 4 years. Let us spend this gift of an extra day in consideration of what we chase after the other days we are given. We're breaking the chains the world has restrained so many of us in - discussing empty pursuits, pornography, marijuana, religions, social media and other self-indulgences. In the end they all point back to the way that makes all the days. Cheers to Freedom!--Chris Rickstrew is a speaker, Master Coach, and founder of Warriors of God, a company that helps Believers find their calling in just 7 weeks! Chris knows that when a Believer finds their calling, they become a WARRIOR! And he is on a mission from God to raise up an army of Warriors that go out and fulfill the great commission! When Chris was 27, he got to where he “thought” he wanted to be in life… and it was miserable! He was unhappy, unfulfilled, and completely lost. That led him to downsizing his company, giving away all his stuff, and buying a one-way ticket to Nepal! He spent the next 3 years living in Nepal, Thailand, and Bali trying to find his calling in life. But it wasn't until he started to pursue Jesus that the clarity came! The Lord not only gave him clarity on his calling, but He also gave Chris a brilliant framework to help other Believers do the same!Chris has a “Saul to Paul” testimony and is now completely on fire for God and fully committed to expanding the Kingdom! He has tried everything else out there and can truly say from experience that Jesus is the ONLY way! —You can reach Chris on Instagram @ChrisRickstrew—Scripture referenced:Matthew 5:16
