    Ricco Yasso: Former Carpenter & Prison Guard to President of Bridging Health Inc. Australia

    Ricco Yasso is a well-known local not only within Central Queensland community but also within the regions of Vanuatu. Ricco kindly shares his journey and family history which leads to his current role as the President of an organisation called Bridging Health Inc. Did you know that Tanna Island was listed as the number ONE 'at risk' country in the world in 2015, and remains one of the highest still. Bridging Health's mission is to improve the health in the remote regions of Vanuatu, starting with Tanna Island. They take teams of volunteer medical and health professionals, who are assisted by non-medical volunteers, to Tanna Island to offer health care services. Head on over to Bridging Health Inc.     Kiera Austin: Australian Diamond and Melbourne Vixen, ACL Reconstruction, Women’s Health

    A lifelong dream came true for Kiera Austin when she debuted for the Australian Diamonds in 2021. Unfortunately, that season was cut short when she ruptured her ACL and missed the remainder of the season.  Kiera discusses her sporting journey growing up from swimming to soccer and everything in between, netball was her one true love. She shares how she balances her career now as a professional netballer with studies, coaching and her personal life. Kiera has recently finished her studies in Medical Science and hopes to work in the medical field potentially around women's health when the time comes to finish playing professional netball.

    Rosie Malone: Hockeyroo, Olympian and World Cup and Comm Games medalist

    Debuting for the Hockeyroos in 2018, to missing out on a selection at a home Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast later that year, Rosie shares her sporting journey discussing the challenges and both highs and lows she has faced to date. Rosie is one of five children who grew up on the Gold Coast, QLD. She grew up playing a wide variety of sports, ultimately having to decide between hockey and soccer in her late teens. She shares how she experienced, juggled and played many sports, attending school and uni while meeting lifelong friends and memories along the way.  With the 2024 Paris Olympics just around the corner, Rosie will make her way back over to Perth, Western Australia to rejoin the rest of the Hockeyroos squad in the New Year.

    Born and raised in Rockhampton, QLD, Alanna discusses swimming competitively from an extremely young age and making the Australian Commonwealth Games team at 16 years old to compete in Glasgow.  She shares her journey, successes, struggles and life as an elite athlete to explaining her current role within the mines.  Alanna is a true inspiration to all her family and friends, taking all the curves and leaps in her stride, not afraid of what the future holds.

Through injuries, setbacks and a whole lot of perspective, Jeff appreciates every inch of his life.  Currently residing on the Gold Coast, Jeff is hoping to continue thriving as a Youth Support Worker and drive the AIM Foundation to all new levels over the coming years.

    Jemimah Ashleigh: Ex law enforcement turned female entrepreneur and best-selling author

    After 13+ years in Law Enforcement and several, life changing events, originating from ISIS threats, Jemimah decided to start her own businesses, yes, not one, but several, over the course of a few years. Jemimah is not only a female entrepreneur, but the Best-Selling Author of her own book 'Position Me'.     Matt D: High school teacher, ACL reconstructions and testicular cancer

    This episode was an emotional one and is really close to home. Matt is a teacher, a friend, a coach, a leader, a teammate and most of all family. He has gone through his fair share of life's ups and downs, and not once has he had a negative attitude whether it was towards two ACL reconstructions, sporting journeys, studies in school/university and most recently with testicular cancer. With such an exciting future ahead, Matt looks forward to another year ahead being a secondary school teacher and assisting with the Mackay Cutters in the Host Plus Q Cup.

    Jordan Meehan: Tradie to Support Worker and Co-Founder of Walk n Talk Rockhampton

    Co-Founder of Walk 'n' Talk Jordan Meehan tells his journey and experience from being a tradesman, running how own business, to working in the mines and now as a Support Worker.  Through his own battles throughout life, Jordan has used these experiences as a driving factor to create and pursue his passion for helping others and standing up a movement in Rockhampton. Walk 'n' Talk has been stood up for men who are struggling with their mental health and is a safe place to go for help. Walk 'n' Talk host a men's 18+ walk, BBQ and conversation every three weeks.     Terry Campese: Former NRL Player, Founder of the TCF, Politics and 2024/25 Q Cup Coach

    Former NRL Canberra Raider player Terry Campese explains how he navigated and turned his own negative situation/s due to injuries into a positive and has never looked back. After returning to the field post ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation, tearing his groin off the bone the first game back, then several games into the following season re-rupturing his ACL again, Terry used this as a motivating and driving factor to start the Terry Campese Foundation.
