Real Hope, Real Talk

The roadmap for growth in godliness runs through the streets of suffering. Proceed with rejoicing, turn at refining, continue straight on renewal, and arrive at your reward.

The sustaining strength for our suffering comes from savoring our savior and His salvation. 

Remember who you are, remember where you are, remember whose you are. 

Behold the Lamb of God. 

GO and fill the earth with the knowledge and glory of the Lord. GO in obedience to the Lord and in the Power of the Spirit. GO with the heart to see the Gospel spread in your city. GO praying and trusting that God can do more than you ask or imagine.

Exalting Christ calls every Christian to get equipped. The Path of Equipping. The Purpose of Equipping. The Power for Equipping.

Faith in Christ calls for commitment to the family of God. The Mystery: Enemies Become Family. The Manifestation: The Church Displays God's Wisdom. The Meaning: Come into the Church Family.

We give FROM grace, WITH joy, and FOR God's glory. 

The church gathered is an ASSEMBLY. It's what makes a church a church. The church gathered is LOCAL. It has a structure outlined by the NT. It is geographic and autonomous. The church gathered is RYTHMIC. It's weekly on the Lord's Day by God's design. The church gathered is UNIFYING. It's covenantal in its display of the ordinances and of hearing, singing, and preaching of God's Word. The church gathered is SPIRITUAL. It's where Jesus is present by His Spirit

Fear God, obey His Word, and live in the light of eternity. 

Don't delay, get after Christ today. The Call: Remember Your Creator. The Cause: Today is Easier than Tomorrow. The Course: Seriously & Joyfully Pursue Christ.

Sow for it, enjoy the process of faith-filled living, and know that God will judge it all in the end. 

Since a little folly can foil a lot of wisdom, fervently fight folly. The power, path, and palisade against folly. 

Life is full of uncertainties... there is a certain wisdom we need in life.

Dead days are coming, so leverage your life in light of the Lord. Death surrounds us, life abounds to us, and the Lord grounds us. 

Why death? Why life? What hope is there?

Gather to hear the Gospel. Belong because of the Gospel. Develop in the Gospel. Go with the Gospel.

Christ's Supremacy is over creation, the church, death, and the grave. 

God's grace should lead to God's glory.

Future hope should fashion our hearts for present happiness in God. There is a Hinderance to hope, a Help for hope, and a Heart of hope. 

Marvel at God's grace, understand the cost of redemption, and live like you've been given the ultimate gift.

The peace of Christ, the Word of Christ, and the Work of Christ. 

We cannot know all things under the sun, so… "Don't Freak out." We can know and trust the One who knows all things…so  "Fear God." We ought to live joy-filled lives for God's glory, so… "Be Happy in God."

God is sovereign over ALL things, including wealth. Wealth can be a curse or a blessing. What does God want you to do with your wealth?

Approaching God requires appropriate attire. We must approach with a heart of humility. We must approach with a heart of honesty. We must approach with a heart of honor. 

Our pursuits in life must point to the great pursuer of life. The selfish pursuit, the selfless pursuit, and the solution for a selfless pursuit.

We look OUT and see injustice in the world, look IN to know God is the Judge, look DOWN and are reminded of our mortality, look UP and trust God for eternal salvation. 

God instructs time, God has made everything beautiful in its time, and God is outside of time. 

Life under the sun, in the Son, and from the Son. 

The Curse of our world, the Chase of our hearts, the Consequences of our choices, and the Christ whom we need. 

The Preacher's Motto, Question, Observation, and Our Gospel Hope.

Turn and Pray. 

With eternity in mind, keep grinding, for Jesus is coming.

Real religion requires resting in God's providence, because His providence controls and cares.

The cure for our conflict comes from submission to our Savior. 

Wising UP means you go down, not wising up only sows disorder, and wising UP produces the harvest.

Real religion requires taming the tongue. Today, we look at the Power of the tongue, the Problem of the tongue, the Perversion of the Tongue, and the Path for our tongues.

DEAD faith isn't saving faith, DOING faith isn't saving faith, but DYNAMIC faith is saving faith. 

Favoritism shows what we believe about God, the Kingdom, and the Gospel. 

God's glory should cause us to give up our gain for others' good. 

Our deliverance depends on delighting in His word. Our word destroys, His word delivers, and we can delight in His Word. 

Consider the hard things as good things because they are producing and God is perfecting.

The Christian's heart belongs to Jesus, you have a divided heart, and only the Gospel can make your heart whole.

Remember you are a servant of the Lord, to honor faithful leaders in the Lord, to raise up future leaders in the Lord, to declare the works of the Lord, and to trust in the faithfulness of the Lord. 

CLING to the promises of God, from purity of heart, with perseverance in the Spirit, and to Christ so that you do not perish.   

God's people should care deeply about the unity and purity of the body for the sake and testimony of Jesus Christ. To do this, we should: guard Truth and pursue holiness, confront others in love, listen with grace-filled understanding, and move forward in unity and agreement. 

Christ is the ultimate Victor. 

The key to happiness comes from savoring Christ as the true king. He is the King we want and the King we need. How can you savor Christ as the true King?

There must be a passion and priority in the Gospel, there is the certainty of uncertainty, there is one clear objective, there is a need to care and be careful, there is a hopeful surety and promise, there is a greater blessing in giving than receiving, and there are always goodbyes in the Gospel. 

Accept your LOT in life, don't do a little for A LOT, and ALLOT your life to benefit others first.
