Ever wonder why you often feel let down by those around you? It might be because you're placing your expectations on others instead of where they truly belong—on God. In trauma we find ourselves looking for new places to tread, because it feels as though where we are is only temporary. As though everyone we encounter is a potential enemy seeking to move us from our place.

Exhibiting Christ-like love means embodying the principles of compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and servanthood in our interactions with others. It involves treating people with kindness, respect, and dignity, regardless of their background or beliefs. Christ-like love is unconditional, inclusive, and sacrificial, reflecting the love that Jesus demonstrated during his time on Earth. It involves actively seeking to understand and alleviate the suffering of others, offering forgiveness and reconciliation, and serving others with humility and selflessness. Ultimately, exhibiting Christ-like love means allowing our lives to be a living testimony of the transformative power of love, inspiring others to experience the same grace and compassion that Christ extended to all.
